TV out is not working for my c6-01 belle. I am using right nokia tv out cable. TV icon shows at the top of screen. Audio is working fine. But video is not working at all...

I updated my nokia N8-00. it's not playing flv files and all other flash contents. First few seconds screen halts on the image of first frame of video then screen goes whte and flash player's symbol small "f " shows on top left corner. Although I have reinstalled Belle but problem still remains as it was.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI am usking nokia N8.. everything is working fine other than 3G services, whenever i try to connect it with specifically with 3G Network from Network Mode.. My Signal Lost.. Dual Mode ,EDGE Signals are working fine.. I have already checked my SIM with other Phone .. and 3G is working fine with same settings on it.
I have hard formatted the cellphone, tried other ways even. But problem doesn't resolves.
I am unable to play Windows Media DRM files with Nokia Belle. This feature did work perfectly and without any issue on Symbian Anna SP1 that I was using. This time around I get no picture, just frames and garbled screen. The DRM license is valid, I did re-copy the files to Nokia N8 again since the DRM license was not preserved when I did backup my Nokia N8 before the update to Nokia Belle. There are no issues playing non-DRM files.I already regret upgrading to Nokia Belle due to the technical and user interface issue it already has (why are there two clocks on the main screen ?).I wish that I could downgrade securely back to Symbian Anna.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen making or receiving voice calls via my network operator's service, no one can hear me, i.e my audio input. I can hear the person on the other end of the phone fine but they can't hear me whatsoever. However when I use the likes of viber, skype and facetime, my audio input is perfectly fine and the person on the other end of can hear me. Note both viber and skype calls work just fine and 2 way communication is audible regardless if I have a 3G or Wifi connection. Plus I have full signal bar strength when near a mobile tower so that eliminates antenna issues. Also have taken alternative turns to cover both the top mic and the bottom mic during a viber or skype call and my audio input can still be heard. I've done a reset, a hard reset of the phone and a reset of the network settings, still to no avail. Have updated iOS to the latest version 5.1.1.

Everything on the 500 seems to work... except the video. I upgraded to Belle almost as soon as I got the phone... but under the Anna upgrade and now Belle I can't get any video. All I get is an error. What it will take to make the video work? The phone also has a tendency to run out of memory and crash but that doesn't happen often enough to make it really annoying, although I'm surprised it happens. I'm just trying the various options to video to reduce the quality of the video in the hope it will work, but so far no luck.
I suspect that given the buggy nature of the software we'll see at least one more update reasonably soon. I bought the phone specifically because it was Symbian... and so far (for the price) I'm pretty pleased. Nokia maps in particular were one of the main reasons it was Nokia over Android. Cheap parts prices, modular design and battery life were some of the other reasons. Only missing thing on this phone is a flash!!!
These many days nokia people worked on BELLE.. Now they released some buggy OS. SKYPE is not at all working.. Once I clicked on Sign-in button, it is getting closed automatically..
People are very angry on nokia, don't test customers.. You are giving that much good mobiles and you people are not able to provide gud operating system for those mobiles.
I can't longer use the e-mail client to access my hotmail account. The problem started happening around 2 weeks ago and the situation remains, the client continues to tell me the password is wrong, but it's not.I've tried to set up the account with Mail for Exchange, and while it initially seem to work, then suddenly the e-mail from last month all start going to the Deleted Items folder in Hotmail, even after having configured the phone never to delete any messages, so I stopped using that solution as well.

I have used application on N8 and it works perfecly on Anna devices. However, there seems to be problem with Belle. It works fine at start (from 5 to 60 minutes) but in some point magnetometers and compass seem to freeze, and I do not get updates their values. This problem seems to be related with Belle because it works fine on Anna and I've tested the application with two different N8 phones running Belle.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe latest Opera Mini from OVI Store (version 7.0(29980)) is not working on my N8 with Belle anymore.Install is OK but when I start the browser there is a message about font calculation and when it comes to about 82% it always crashes the phone (restart) I then downloaded the sis from the Opera site, installed it and everything works nice again. View 1 Replies View RelatedThe email client on my N8 with Belle suddenly stopped working. I have configured my email with IMAP (Standard not OVI!) and it was working OK until a couple of days ago. Now I can not retrieve/send any email - I always get the message: "Unable to sign in. Try again.". I also tried and removed this particular account and added it once again (as a matter of fact I did this about 10 times!!!) but still no emails are shown. Of course this same mail is working perfectly on all of my PCs and notebooks.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
When will Nokia make Tango or any other video calls application available on Nokia Belle mobiles, such application are very imoprtant to have, and Nokia should invite the developers to make such applications compatible with our Nokia latest mobiles.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with continuous playback of video, Before with Anna I couuld go into gallary and my pictures and video were all in same place, in proper order. Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

The Nokia Maps app does pretty good nav but whereas e.g. TT will accept a postcode like CT16 2AB, Nokia Maps (or Drive as it is called; the Drive app shares the same database with the Maps app) accepts only CT162.
Today I tried to drive from Brighton (UK) to Biggin Hill Airport but Drive could not find Biggin Hill, which is weird. So I used an old Pocket/PC PDA with TT6 to get there. The Nokia apps did not show any roads/streets for a large area around the destination and on the way back it was about half an hour before I reached a map showing roads/streets. I deleted and reloaded the UK map (400MB) from Nokia and that fixed that bizzare issue, but having two ways to do the job is obviously desirable. And TT is a better app with a better database.

I downloaded Skype from OVI and it opens properly etc.but does not allow me to enter my password etc. and then reverts to the main screen. I am with Vodafone UK.

I also checked my product code 0599330 in the Nokia Belle availability page and it says available.
