I am usking nokia N8.. everything is working fine other than 3G services, whenever i try to connect it with specifically with 3G Network from Network Mode.. My Signal Lost.. Dual Mode ,EDGE Signals are working fine.. I have already checked my SIM with other Phone .. and 3G is working fine with same settings on it.
I have hard formatted the cellphone, tried other ways even. But problem doesn't resolves.
TV out is not working for my c6-01 belle. I am using right nokia tv out cable. TV icon shows at the top of screen. Audio is working fine. But video is not working at all...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

In my memory card I found many folders namely _PAlbTN. is it a virus? Do I need to reformat my memory card? And what do I have to copy on my PC when I format it? Just the mp3 videos and pictures? Or do I have to copy also the folders like private, sys, etc?
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have a 4 month old n8 currently has issues with all features related to logging on to ovi. Thats the social app, the automatic update of email also stopped working as well as ovi sync. When i try log on it takes a while then says connection failed. Try again later. The next screen asks for my password again which i actually Havent changed as i can still log on to the ovi website. The ovi store was previously working well but i thought it could be the problem so i uninstalled it to no avail. I tried a soft reset which deleted the mailboxes but didnt solve a thing. Now i Cant set up any mail boxes. It takes ages on the preparing for set up screen without moving forward. Ovi sync still not working, neither is social and now i Cant download ovi store. Seems like the link is failing. Everything else is working fine. Internet included. I'm avoiding a hard reset because I'm miles away from a computer for a back up.

For the past couple of days, I've been unable to use my BB's Browser or GPS functions. Whenever I try to connect to the BB Browser, I get a timeout error. None of my bookmarks are able to connect either. I've tried switching between the different settings in browser configuration settings (BIS, hotspot, wifi, IE, Firefox, etc) to no avail. I also have a wifi set up at home and even though it was working flawlessly a couple of days ago, it will no longer connect to any wifi. In addition, the GPS function is not working on any of the apps that use GPS (Both BB and Google maps, weatherbug, poynt).
Here's the kicker: Everything else is working great. I'm getting all of my emails from all of the emails I have configured with the device (my work email through the BES, forwarded from a comcast address, and from my *@vzw.blackberry.net address) and all of my apps seem to be working fine. I've got facebook, ubertwitter, ebay, weatherbug, poynt, and a couple of others and they're all able to update wirelessly.
I've tried going through a new enterprise activation, I've updated everything through the desktop manager, and I've re-registered the device on the network. I'm iffy on whether I've actually pushed all of the service books to the device again because I can't login here: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw. Whenever I try to, it tells me I have use my device's BIS. Well, that's my problem. I can't use my device's BIS. Also, I have one WiFi host routing table and about a hundred Verizon host routing tables. I'm not sure which ones I should delete, as I've read, in order to get it download a new one.
The only thing I've really noted that appears to be a problem is that when I go to Options -> Status, the device's IP Address is 0.0.0.0. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be like that or not. I know from regular internet usage on a desktop, if you don't have an ip address on the network, you can't get on the internet. Does that ring true for the BB as well?

I have noticed that most of the contact changes I make in the web interface (like adding an email address) are not synced to the phone. Today I added 4 new contacts in the web then synced several times, and just one was copied to the phone. The sync registry in the phone showed correctly that just one contact had been added to the phone. The phone is a Nokia E51 and I am syncing over WiFi.

Sony Ericsson Satio phone (Jailbreaked), which runs exactly the same OS as the Nokia 5800, Symbian S60V5. It is such a pity that I cant find any applications for my SE ANYWHERE, so I've tried numerous versions of the Ovi Store in my phone. - Clicking on Compose Mail I get a circle rotating but nothing more happens
- If I want to check the checkbox to delete some mails the mail opens rather than checking the checkbox
- Clicking on Reply/Delete nothing happens.
- Logout doesn't work
- could go on with some other quite serious bugs as well
- This is the same for 4 different PCs using IE on WinXP and Win7, Firefox on Win7, Firefox and Chrome on Ubuntu 11.10, no help deleting temporary data That has happened before some weeks ago, but then worked again - then also a search field was available in the web interface. Now the search field is gone again and not to much seems to work.Besides the web interface there are some other issues:
- Outlook can not connect most of the times
- My N8 can not connect most of the times (neither 3G nor WiFi)
This makes OVI mail basically useless - I'm thinking of changing to a different mail provider because it OVI mail is very unreliable to me.
My C7 has issues with messages. Whenever I send a message it says for example "resend at 7:43" and at 7:43 it will say "resend at 7:46" and so on. I resolved this issue by software formatting but this issue is here again.

I updated to symbian Anna today and my OVI store stopped working. So I try to click the icon and my browser opens up and takes me to the site to download the sis file. Once downloaded, the install starts. It gets to a point with a green bar and says : "This could take a few minutes" then it just closes. When I go to the OVI icon in the menu, it does the same thing again: Opens the browser and goes to the page for download..

I hought maybe the bttery had one and bought another but no difference. I i plug charger in the red light comes on for about 60secs and goes off, followed by the red light going on an off 10 times.Also, all memory and rivers seem to have gone because i also couldn't get the phone to link to the laptop either. The alignment is totally random. On the touchscreen keyboard some keys are right on. and some off to the left and just a few off to the right. Screen alignment just keeps trying and I have to reboot. Is this a bad touchscreen, or is it possibly software?
