In my memory card I found many folders namely _PAlbTN. is it a virus? Do I need to reformat my memory card? And what do I have to copy on my PC when I format it? Just the mp3 videos and pictures? Or do I have to copy also the folders like private, sys, etc?

I got an iPhone, when playing the games it got no sound. BUT, when playing music it got sound.
I press on the + - button in left navigation, it got no respond. If I play the game and I plug in the headset, I can heard the sound of the game.Â

Have had my phone about two weeks. Siri was working fine last night. This morning it is not. Trying to use it to do an email - the microphone lights up and it appears as if it is recording - the little dots appear - but it does not write out what I said. For the past couple of days, I've been unable to use my BB's Browser or GPS functions. Whenever I try to connect to the BB Browser, I get a timeout error. None of my bookmarks are able to connect either. I've tried switching between the different settings in browser configuration settings (BIS, hotspot, wifi, IE, Firefox, etc) to no avail. I also have a wifi set up at home and even though it was working flawlessly a couple of days ago, it will no longer connect to any wifi. In addition, the GPS function is not working on any of the apps that use GPS (Both BB and Google maps, weatherbug, poynt).
Here's the kicker: Everything else is working great. I'm getting all of my emails from all of the emails I have configured with the device (my work email through the BES, forwarded from a comcast address, and from my *@vzw.blackberry.net address) and all of my apps seem to be working fine. I've got facebook, ubertwitter, ebay, weatherbug, poynt, and a couple of others and they're all able to update wirelessly.
I've tried going through a new enterprise activation, I've updated everything through the desktop manager, and I've re-registered the device on the network. I'm iffy on whether I've actually pushed all of the service books to the device again because I can't login here: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw. Whenever I try to, it tells me I have use my device's BIS. Well, that's my problem. I can't use my device's BIS. Also, I have one WiFi host routing table and about a hundred Verizon host routing tables. I'm not sure which ones I should delete, as I've read, in order to get it download a new one.
The only thing I've really noted that appears to be a problem is that when I go to Options -> Status, the device's IP Address is 0.0.0.0. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be like that or not. I know from regular internet usage on a desktop, if you don't have an ip address on the network, you can't get on the internet. Does that ring true for the BB as well?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen making or receiving voice calls via my network operator's service, no one can hear me, i.e my audio input. I can hear the person on the other end of the phone fine but they can't hear me whatsoever. However when I use the likes of viber, skype and facetime, my audio input is perfectly fine and the person on the other end of can hear me. Note both viber and skype calls work just fine and 2 way communication is audible regardless if I have a 3G or Wifi connection. Plus I have full signal bar strength when near a mobile tower so that eliminates antenna issues. Also have taken alternative turns to cover both the top mic and the bottom mic during a viber or skype call and my audio input can still be heard. I've done a reset, a hard reset of the phone and a reset of the network settings, still to no avail. Have updated iOS to the latest version 5.1.1.

blackberry9700....Email worked fine until I had to reset my password for my work account, now I can receive email via the blackberry from this account but cannot send. Send fails with "contains an invalid email address". My service provider and RIM have not been able to figure this out so far. Email account is not full, can access from a pc and send/receive. so problem is specific to the bb system. I have read where others have had this issue, and that plain txt messages work (they do not for me) and also that you can delete the message body of the original in the reply and that works (kludgy at best) but I cant seem to delete the body of the message in the reply.

The steering controls work fine too until the phone locks or sleeps. I tried many different music apps and every setting in the screen and security settings. It works fine when I swipe the phone to click the button to wake it up it works fine.

I just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

I hought maybe the bttery had one and bought another but no difference. I i plug charger in the red light comes on for about 60secs and goes off, followed by the red light going on an off 10 times.Also, all memory and rivers seem to have gone because i also couldn't get the phone to link to the laptop either. The alignment is totally random. On the touchscreen keyboard some keys are right on. and some off to the left and just a few off to the right. Screen alignment just keeps trying and I have to reboot.
