after updated to my nokia n8 anna version to belle i got succesfull. But i try to clear my ram it ask securuty code. I tried with default security code 12345 but no use. I never change my security code also from the date of purchase of my nokia n8.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince the Belle Refresh update on N8 I've been having a bug concerning text fields in the browser. When a text field is active and the keyboard is visible, clicking buttons on the screen will make you click other nearby links or buttons instead. For example, if you click Search in my attached image, the "Sign in" link will get clicked instead. That happens on other sites aswell. It also happens if you click on empty space with a link underneath it. As if the touch-screen area moves up a bit when the keyboard appears. Right now I'm using the enter key, but I'm still used to just clicking buttons on the screen.

Batterytime is beyond miserable now Removing the weather widget from the start screen did NOT solve the problem. 100 % certain it's the weather widget's fault. Nokia either needs to provide an update solution quickly or provide a way to completely remove the widget and NOT have it installed again upon connection to Nokia Suite

Only to discover that my C7 slows down to a crawl when the phone check for email or is busy accessing the internet. Also I have noticed that the sleeping screen application seems to be completely out of sync. When I press the menu button it takes a minute or so for sleeping screen to respond and then I have to wait a minute or some until the unlock responds on the device.

1) widget offline setting
2) automatic wifi enable when launching the browser, store or other internet app
3) bluetooth beep no longer present after turning off bluetooth
4) turning wifi on doesn't automatically pair with defined access point
5) task manager or open applications feature
6) automatic screen blanking while placing or receiving a call
7) wife connection drops but wifi radio stays on
8) touching battery icon indicates remaining power (same for other icons)
Another nit, apps that were previously downloaded when they were free, can no longer be downloaded without paying. Why does the upgrade remove your apps anyway?
I have just updated to Belle on my N8. I have a security code set for locking the phone and this is fine. However, when I switch the phone on I am not asked for the code (as I was with Anna). In settings I went to 'Phone and SIM card' and saw a 'PIN code request' item was set to off. I thought this should be 'on' so changed it. No effect, so want to change it back to off. Trouble is when I try to do this it requests a PIN code. I enter my security code and it is flagged as incorrect. Failed twice, and apparently one more incorrect entry locks the phone. Help please! Is the PIN code different to the security code? Is there a default? If I screw this up, is it Nokia issue or one for my Sim provider (Vodafone)?

It didn't do this before, so I don't know what I am supposed to put in. I put in 1234, it tells me it's wrong, I press cancel and hey presto I can use my phone! What's that all about?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my N8 to Anna. Could not do the 1/2, everything else worked fine. Finally got the 1/2 to work, ever since had nothing but problems. Whenever I start the phone I get 3 or 4 system error messages. After hitting ok, I can access most of my phone. I cannot access my contacts from the home screen. I can only go into the call screen, which does not allow me to add a new contact or edit. I have tried both the hard and soft reboots and tried to re-install but it has only gotten worse. I kinda need to access my contacts for work.
