When I try to resize a photo using the editing function in the Gallery, I'm unable to save the resized photo.I'll do the resize, tap on the "check mark" and then press on the "memory card" icon to save and nothing happens.If anyone can tell me how to save a resized photo as a copy for emailing while preserving the original large photo, that would be great.
View 2 RepliesI just bought a brand the N8 a couple of days ago, and went to change the caller photo on one of my friends, so that I'd see his ugly face when he was calling me. I'm not sure how I messed this up but that now everyone in my phonebook has his face stuck to the background of the call-screen whenever I call someone or receive a call.
I tried to just rename the photo but then when I tried to make a call my phone would deny it. I simply could not make a call from it. How wasted is that?
So I rename the photo, reboot my phone, and I'm still calling everyone with his ugly face stuck to my ear.
Is there any way to add a photo to the locked screen so I can tell whose phone is whos?

Everytime i have tried doing something different to get it to work it only ever works once or twice before failing forever.My partner has never had a problem.

I got a problem with my nokia 5530 xpress music. When launching camera I can record video without any problem but when switching to photo mode nothing appear, it enter the interface to take the photo but no image appear on the screen. I try to update the firmware with nokia ovi software updater, doing hard reset, format and factory default, but still same problem.

Vignetting is a pretty powerful tool that can help isolate subjects and seems to be a bit of an oversight on Nokia's part to leave it out, considering how good the cams are and the editors have often a good amount of adjustments that save me from running to Lightroom or Silver Efex Pro all the time.
I synced my N8 with windows media player after the anna update but couldn't see any pictures in the photo app. Pictures are already on the device inside "pictures" (not "images") folder in E: drive. After playing a bit, i figured out that photos app only read the pictures inside "images" folder of E: drive. Is there any possible way to make photo app read files in the "pictures" folder or make Windows Media Player sync with the "images" folder instead of "pictures" folder.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the past, before iOS4, I was able to assign hi - res picture to my contacts.When someone called, the large picture would show up,not the little pic in the top right corner of the screen.Yes,I am using the Google sync/exchange.But I also know that assigning a picture to a contact on the iPhone will use that picture and it will be hi - res.Now,after iOS4,its 50 - 50.I've assigned a picture to my wife. And the picture is hi - res.When she calls I get the large picture.But assigning a picture to my son, its resized so when he calls I only get the small picture and is a low - res version of what I assigned.I haven't changed any settings in Google either.So what might make some pictures show up correctly, and others not?Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this as well?

My E72 ocasionally reboots when , after shooting a photo, press the "back" option, to get back from the picture just shooted to the camera.Furthermore, occasionally (but it has happened in a very few occasions) when i enter the camera from home or from the multimedia menu, the screens remains blank , neither image nor frame appear, just the menu bar and the options at the bottom left and right of the screen.I have to exit, then enter again and it finally work.
