Feb 9, 2015I've had my Samsung Galaxy S5 (verizon) for about two months. I just ran into a problem where many of the icons are missing when I bring up twitter. For example, when I'm at my home page, if I look at the menu bar near the top of the page, I see the words ""Home", "Connect", "Discover", "Me", but the icons above each command are missing. Also, the avis in my feed are missing.
If I click on a specific tweet, then the poster's avi does appear, but the icons for retweet, reply, favorite, etc. are completely missing. However, if I touch the screen where they should be located, the commands do work.
Rebooting the phone (off/on) did not work. And this is not affecting any other apps that I have noticed.

I even checked the online gallery on the Verizon site and that has no photos in it. Where did it sent the picture? It is not in the gallery, it is not on the SD Card, it is not in Handcent's download folder, not in the default DCIM or download folders on the phone.

Jan 4, 2010I'm an IT technician, and have my own small business doing technical consulting. One of my customers called me tonight saying she found an iphone in her front yard next to the sidewalk yesterday. She and her husband have iphones, and they have had the thing plugged in for a day on their charge cables, and haven't gotten any calls on it, and want to know if I can find out who it belongs to. The phone is locked, and I've talked to AT&T and they won't help me at all, and they won't take the phone and try and get it in touch with its owner from the card or anything.
Any help here? I know how to jailbreak etc, but I don't want to do a restore because I'm afraid it will lose the owners name for good then. I have a couple of iphones, and the darn things are anything but cheap, and I'm sure someone somewhere will want it back.Can I take the sim card out of it and get any owner information on it by plugging it into my jailbroken iphone or anything?

Oct 9, 2014Purchased a new SD card by Transcend 32G. It could not be found in the phone when inserted. I formatted the card on my PC after these failings, readily recognized there....and did a quick format and a soft reset, as well as a Hard Reset. Still the phone would not recognize the Card. More Reading. Back to the PC did a "slow" Format, turned off the phone and did a hard reset. At the large exclamation point I inserted the SD card and pushed the series of buttons to begin the "turning on of the phone". In my earlier formats and resets I didn't attempt to install the card until after the reset had been completed. My thinking in the last instance was "maybe" the phone would re-format the card.

Feb 25, 2010I am in the hunt for the best free twitter app for the E72. I have tried TweetS60, Twitbreeze, & Snaptu. Out of the 3 I liked Snaptu the best, Twitbreeze was terrible, & TweetS60 was extremely slow. Snaptu would be great if they added photo upload support but they do not have that. So now I am back on the hunt.

Jan 27, 2010Found the culprit that was causing my Storm to drain the battery and get hot, It was an app called StormSlider also called BerrySlider.There has been a few updates since release 5.0 but the author doesnt seem to have got the battery drain problem solved yet i was running version 5.08, this has cost me a battery as it cooked it whilst it was on charge.Ive removed the app and my phone is fine again.

Oct 3, 2013Just about 2 or 3 weeks ago i could use android file transfer just fine to sync my data in my htc one. But now every time i plug in my phone and open android file transfer it says no device found, please plug in your device or restart phone.
When I replug it or restart the phone it says "could not connect to device". I have tried using three different usb cables to attempt to connect but it doesn't work.
The last time i was using android file transfer my sister asked to sync her stuff so i connected her s4 mini and android file transfer said the same thing it said to me. That's wierd coz right before she asked me for her phone to be synced android file transfer was working fine with my phone. I installed samsung kies and synced her data in her phone. How to fix require to uninstall kies or reinstall drivers and restart computer. I have done all the methods and i still can't use android file transfer.

May 5, 2010Ive just updated the Socially app to the latest version, Outstanding.It offers a new tab within contacts for your social networking contacts and allows you to click on them and display their Wall posts.It will also download your contacts profile picture and add them to their details.On the X6 homescreen it even updates your favourite 20 contacts pic to the homescreen.
Its the best widget I have seen, mine automatically updates every hour and pops up a bubble on my screen and scrolls thru the last 15 updates on my FB account.

Nokia :: N900 USB Logo Not Found On The Top
Jan 10, 2010I have received this week my new N900. Everything superb until last Friday when I was in my car listening music through the A2DP profile (stereo bluetooth), received a call, was using also 3G and all this meanwhile the N900 was plugged to the car charger (borrowed from a N97). That was quite usual with my HTC Diamond. But suddenly when I left the car the N900 bricked, so I restarted but since then the only thing I could see is the NOKIA logo with the white wallpaper.
Later at home i tried to remove the battery, put it back again, plugged to the adapter and i could see a small usb logo on the right top corner. Then I followed the guides found here to flash und update the firmware (flasher-3.5 and so on, with my windows 7 pc). First I reinstalled the latest firmware file (.bin) and it seems to be OK, with no error comand. Then I rebooted the N900 but the result was the same, it stopped 30-40 segs later and switch off. I though it was also necessary to do the eMMC, so i repeated following the new steps, but in this case i found these messages from the flasher:
-USB not found
-USB raw data transfer EP found at EP2
-SU_GET_UPDATE_STATUS_REQ terrminated with error code 1.
I have no idea what do they mean but the case is that now I can see no usb logo on the top when I plug the usb adapter (either USB or AC), so it is now impossible to comunicate with the pc. I have tried again to remove the battery, even in a Nokia center with another battery from the 8500 which i didn't know was the same, but no result. The most strangest thing is that the N900 refuses to be charged as once it is plugged to the AC, a yellow light appears and on the screen I can only see the nokia logo on a dark backlight (as I said, with no usb logo now), but 30 segs later it is continously switching off.
I am already mentally prepared to ask Nokia for a replacement, but I still resist to accept there is no solution to revive this little but complex device.

Jun 9, 2010I bought my mom a E63. When I se it up, everything worked perfectly. It would find my router at home and conect to it, it would find wireless hotspots everywhere and connect to them etc... Now, all of the sudden, it will not find anything anymore. Even if I am standing in front of my router, it will say "No WLAN network found".
I just updated her phone to the newest firmware and reset everything to factory defaults, and the phone still refuses to find any WLAN's. I went into the menu and made sure that it does show WLAN availability etc...
