Nokia :: E72 - Looking For Best Twitter Application For Free
Feb 25, 2010
I am in the hunt for the best free twitter app for the E72. I have tried TweetS60, Twitbreeze, & Snaptu. Out of the 3 I liked Snaptu the best, Twitbreeze was terrible, & TweetS60 was extremely slow. Snaptu would be great if they added photo upload support but they do not have that. So now I am back on the hunt.
All I am really looking for in the twitter app is:
-Speed
-Photo Upload
-Notifications (not important)
ive got a question regarding the facebook application on my blackberry.apparently downloading the application is free but what about actually using the application. do i have to pay for that or is it free aswell? furthermore, what about when im in a foreign country?
I recenetly just bought the Galaxy S5 and its working great. But for some reason when I try to add the twitter widget to the home screen or any of the screens I get the message "application not installed." This is only happening with twitter. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but same message. I did a factory reset as well but no luck. The application itself works if I go through the app itself.
I have recently upgraded from a 8520 to 9300 and Im having problems with the application memory free space. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
Recently I have been getting low application data free space messages on my balckberry bold 9700. I have upgraded the OS to version 6.0 bundle 2115. There are not much third party applications on my phone. From the application management screen I am seeing the OS taking up approximatey 127MB and the combined storage used by the third party applications I have running on my phone is approximately 50MB. However, I am seeing that there is only 7MB free out of 250MB of application data space.I suspect that the old OS is still stored on my phone in some system folders. Where can I find these files? and how can I troubleshoot this further?
I am using blackberry curve 9300. I would like to know whether deleting application can give more free spaces for my storage space. It is because I have only dwl whatsapp till now, and there is ony 105 MB free space left while there is almost 400MB in total. whether deleting apps is useful?
Can anyone help in finding me a shortcut to access twitter on my Nokia X6? Nokia recommends adding it as an account in Communities but I cant find communities? I have only had my Nokia a week & finding it a bit of a struggle after 7 years with Sony but I am fairly sure I cant find communities.Any help or info much appreciated but please keep it simple, its my first smart phone & first try at mobile phone internet.
I download the Twitter from ovi store everthing went fine, but whem i try to open Twitter app can't find it on my phone, how can i get my download pls help
does anyone know the best program for twitter on my Nokia 6500 slide phone? with Opera Mini i can read other tweets (though log in is bad), but i can not tweet anything. i just uploaded uTweetMe and it works. But I guess just for my tweets. Perhaps there is a better program (4 free) for Twitter?
Ive just updated the Socially app to the latest version, Outstanding. It offers a new tab within contacts for your social networking contacts and allows you to click on them and display their Wall posts. It will also download your contacts profile picture and add them to their details. On the X6 homescreen it even updates your favourite 20 contacts pic to the homescreen.
Its the best widget I have seen, mine automatically updates every hour and pops up a bubble on my screen and scrolls thru the last 15 updates on my FB account.
1) is there any way of deleting a twitter account from the 'People' secton of the phone? I can't see a way. When it settings there are no options available for twitter to delete the account. The whole thing has frozen and nothing seems to work there.
2) tips for apps to use to share video footage filmed on the camera over twitter, or in a way that can be linked to twitter?
I'm wondering whether I'll be able to remove facebook, twitter etc. from the phone since I will never use them. They'll probably get in the way, and seeing them and knowing that I can't get rid of them will irritate me greatly. The phone going to use S40.
I've been using the Nokia Communities App for like a week, then I noticed that I typo-ed a Facebook status, also in Twitter. I couldn't edit it, and I couldn't find any option to delete it as well.
Lately I haven't been able to upload photos to twitter using the Social app, I realized it didn't upload them from the photo gallery and tried to do it from the app and got some error and a "try again later" message
Haveing seen the explosion of threds about the iphone signal problem I cant help notice the amount of people willing to apcept a free bumper! are people out there heads?
Its a flaw at the end of the day and if apple admit to it will people find it that hard to give up there phone and apcept a free bumper? do we get free screws with the next purchase?
Does anyone have a nokia phone from years back with expess on covers? think the its the 3210 i had I lost the back and if you caught the little metal strip antenna with your hand it killed the signal and droped the call!
Is this whats happening here? It seems the more I read the threds this could be happening with the iphone 4!?
I've bought a SIM-free S2 from Amazon but, upon reading up on the 4.0 software update I've learnt about the 'CSC' code. Apparently Sim-free phone should have XED or something similar.
I have the X6 16gb with virgin and pay £15 per month which gives me 200mins and ultd text. I then travelled to France using the Sat Nav and came back to a bill of around £6 for usinng the Sat Nav and have been charged when ever i use it, virgin have told me to contact Nokia as using the Sat Nav i was charged for GPS usuage (pardon my ignorance but does a sat nav not run of GPS), I have finally spoken to somone at Nokai and they are now telling me the free aspect of the Sat Nav is the application and licence and for data transfer via GPS i will be charged for this via virgin.
I am not willing to pay £5 pm for this from virgin as I genuinely belived i bought a phone with a sat nav not some elctronic maps.
Ovi map 3.03 for S60 V3.1 with free navigation has been released on China's Nokia official website..When I select E72 and click on the "download" button, the file name is "nokia_ maps_ 3[1]. 03_ 10wk11_ b04_ s60_ 3.1_ rom_china.NOCS.sis", which is totally different from the file downloaded from Nokia Europe.I successfully installed it in my E71 and it automatically became English UI. I test the navigation for walk or drive, it's completely free of charges. You just need to download the map and voice with map loader.Don't be confused by the file name.It will automatically adapt the language on your phone!!
I got the E73 yesterday, and in the box is a thing for a free Navigation kit, but when I go to the website, there is no Navigation Kit, or Maps listed for my phone?
I have heard that Nokia made the Navigation feature for free for certain Nokia phones. Does anyone know whether there is free navigation for slightly older phone - for E71 ?
