I've bought a SIM-free S2 from Amazon but, upon reading up on the 4.0 software update I've learnt about the 'CSC' code. Apparently Sim-free phone should have XED or something similar.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI use my s2 as a storage device to transfer files between home and work but the free space on my usb storage seems to be lower than it should be.The total space says 11.50gb and between pictures, audio and downloads etc its says i am using 3.19gb but it lists my free space at 3.67gb so where is the missing 4.64gb? If i recall i used to have over 6gb of free space so im not sure why this has dropped. I havent added any more files since then because once ive transfered my files between home and work i delete them.

My car doesn't have bluetooth so cannot link to my CD player - but can I play music through the handsfree easily? The other sounds such as driving mode comes through the handsfree ok. What settings do I need to twiddle with to play music through it? I have samsung car dock and would like to play music via bluetooth hands free from phone? Make-a-da-sense?

I am trying to get my Jabra Freeway to operate correctly with my SGSII.Although in my list of contacts on my phone I have configured the settings to only show one set of contacts, (the ones I sync with google) my Jabra Freeway sees the other two sets of contacts. The ones on my sim card and the ones (I think) on my phone).How can I get rid of the sim and phone contacts but just keep the ones synced with Google so that when I try and make a voice operated call via my Jabra Freeway, I am not told I have 3 contacts with the name I want to call.

View 10 Replies View RelatedAlthough I've not downloaded any applications for a couple of months, my free space has declined to less than 5 MB on a regular basis. I store no photos, chats, or emails on the internal memory, just the memory card, and just to see if I can fix things I delete large emails as they arrive to try to stave off the inevitable "0 KB Free" message. Lately of course the BB has been deleting emails and chats, apparently to regain space.
The last time the delete checklist popped up -- "you're about out of memory, why not delete some of the installed apps to retrieve space?" -- I deleted Sprint Navigation, which said it was taking up 71MB. I figured that would give me a lot of breathing room. It completely deleted, I hard-rebooted the device, and... no change to my available memory. I'm still losing space. As a matter of fact, after deleting it and receiving that message, I thought maybe it doesn't understand, so I tried reinstalling it and got the "insufficient memory for installation"! So now I deleted something that's potentially useful -- and worked -- and can't put it back on even though it was just deleted!

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to clean up that free U2 album, and I've nearly gotten it. However, there are two tracks of the album remaining on my iPhone 5. I'm trying to swipe to delete, and it just plays the song. Annoying. I've managed to hide the album in iTunes, but I'd sure like to get these tracks out as I often listen to all my songs on shuffle and U2 is a band that just doesn't do anything for me. I do not have iTunes Match.Â

After downloading installing failed!!!I can't use oviplayer,means i can't use the nokia music player?.There is NO firewall,antivirusprogram,fireall from windows 7 which blocks installing!I log in username with admin rights!!!.I noted this problem to NOKIA but no respons.
I have the latest Firmware for the NOKIA X6..Also i can't use from NOKIA X6 the Wifi for connecting with mine wireless Thomson 780 adsl modem!The modem is working very well(tested)..So i do have 2 problems with this NEW NOKIA X6 phone with 32GB for music:
1)Ovi player doe'sn't work windows Ultimate with enough free space?.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a M540 and I am trying to transfer my contact list to a Yada YD-V22 hands free device. No matter what I have tried I haven't been able to do it. I keep getting stuck on downloading please wait. I have followed the instructions in the Yada manual, and there was no help in the Samsung manual. The device will answer the phone but there is no way I can voice dial from it. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do this. Any help would be appreciated or the Yada goes back to the store where I bought it. With hands free being the law starting Monday in Ontario I would sure like to get it working.

I seem to be missing 1 option tho, on the S2 I would plug to AUX port on car stereo from headphone jack (straight AUX cable - nothing fancy) and could listen to music and hear calls via car speakers, also on the call my phone mic would pick up my voice so with the phone on the dash mount I could easily make/receive calls, on the S5 however the mic seems to be muted when aux cable plugged in (same with headphones) and I have to unplug the cable or headphones to have the recipient hear me, am I missing a setting somewhere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe other day I noticed that I was getting close to filling up my phone's storage and so I decided to copy all photos and videos to my PC via a USB cable. I basically "Cut" the data and "Pasted" it in a folder on my PC.
Obviously the photos and videos are now gone and removed from my phone, however the free space did not increase. In fact it stayed exactly the same and I moved several Gigs worth of data from my phone.
I also made 2 x screenshots(Please see below) which highlights my problem in more detail. You will notice that the Miscellaneous file shows 15.86GB , but when you open the "Miscellaneous file" section, the items listed combined space does not even get close too that.
Now that Google Photos is offering free unlimited storage, I'd like to switch from OneDrive to Photos, but I can't find Photos anywhere on my phone. I could have sworn - in fact I KNOW - I used to have it. I checked Titanium Backup and disabled apps and cannot find this app on my phone anywhere. Searching for it on the Play store yields NO results.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I had about 9 gig worth of files (pics/video) in the Private Folder using the Privacy mode on my S5. I wanted that space back, so I moved the files out of privacy mode to another location, then deleted them.
However, the stupid phone is still reserving that 9 gig worth of space in that folder. It shows as "other" in the "my file" and es browser app and when I plug the thing into a computer, windows shows that the private "disk" has 9 gig of used space, even though it is empty.
had galaxy express, connection to jabra hands free device had good volume but new galaxy s5 hardly audible how to fix this?
