I heve a couple of programes that say "file corrupted" when I try to delete them. How does one get rid of them? A hartd reset? Re-install phone software? Also, my phone runs version 10.0.020, no update available apparently. Very strange, this phone was bought the one soled. I thought that all Nordic phones run essentially the same software version.

If you ever wondered why you can't install Maps for E75 using the file nokia_maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.2_lm_rom.SIS, which is distributed at: Nokia Europe - Maps - Compatibility & download page, it's because the file is seriously corrupted.
According to SymbianOSv9.x SIS File Format Specification, the first 4 bytes of a SIS file must always be 0x10201A7A. Surprisingly this particular file starts with 0x0055E805 and contains 161 bytes of random data in front of a byte sequence that appears to be the correct identification header. Way to go Nokia! Who knows what else is broken in that file?

View 12 Replies View Relatedi discovered an oddly-named folder in one of my music folders, and i attempted to delete it both on file manager and on my pc through 'mass storage' connectivity but could not manage to due to its corrupted state.
i also suspect that the corrupted folder/file is the reason to the failed transfer of some tracks from ovi player to my device, and sudden disapperance of some tracks. does anyone know how i may go about removing it in its entirety from my memory card?

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have problem in restoring data i backed up before upgrading the firmware from 4.62 to latest 7.23 and managing a full restore of my quite old supernova 7210, as i wasn't able to let nokia pc suite recognizing the phone (error every time i plug the phone).i created an internal nokia backup file (NBF) with messages, calendar, settings and contacts.i updated the firmware and now i'm trying to restore everything i need.now the issue: i'm able to restore "contacts", "settings" and "calendar", but when i check also "messages" option, after 2% of completion the phone told me that there's "no backup file available".what can i do now?i know those NBF files are zip files; is not possible to create a new backup file and merge the old messages folder "predefmessages", stored in the original NBF-zip file, into the new one?

Apple really screwed me up! Did an update to iOS 8.1.2, got stuck in the white restart screen. Recovered the phone via DFU for like 6 times to get the phone start up correctly in factory settings only to find I am unable to restore my backup due to "corrupt backup or incompatible device"!

I captured some excel file data on my phone from my Church's computer. I downloaded the file to my personal laptop today and it was corrupted. The file was compatible with Excel versions 97 - 2003. Does anyone know how to recover from this or why the file gets corrupted?
View 8 Replies View Relatedi have got a sound clip which is i believe its in amr format now i cant delete it when i go into my sound clips i got the sound click there but when i click delete it says unable to delete and just goes to like a lock key icon and i cant do anything more with it. it is on my sd card stored but i cant even locate it by looking for it manually by putting the sd card in my pc. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a photo in my camera roll on my phone that I believe is corrupted. I received it through the "Bump" app. After receiving the photo and adding it to my camera roll, when I go into that specific conversation in "Bump" the app crashes.
When I open my camera to take a photo, it shows everything fine, snaps a photo, and then crashes without saving. When I open my photos, I can go into every album except my camera roll, when I click on my camera roll it crashes.
I have Windows Vista and I can copy all the photos using the windows import photos, and when I click the "delete all after import" button, it will start to delete them, until it gets to that photo than stops.. And does not delete any photos out of my camera roll.
So I need a way to delete ALL of the photos out of my camera roll, without doing it manually, as that is clearly not a possibility. And a way to do it using Windows Vista.

have a BB 9300 curve an downloaded music files to the music folder. Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. The files are in the play list, but I can't play or delete them. The main screen also shows that there are 12 songs in the library, but there are only 8 (of which none work)
