BlackBerry :: Can't Delete A Picture - The File Is Currently In Use
Jul 25, 2011
I cannot I canīt delete a picture. I get the following error message - The file is currently in use. I have removed the battery to re-bot and I have also re-booted in safe mode and still cannot delete the photos. Any suggestions short of formating my memory card?
Does anyone know how to delete a picture from curve 8520 when it keeps saying "file currently in use"? I rebooted my blackberry and tried deleting it again and it still says the same thing.
I was going through my memorie card and I was attempting to delete pictures. I would click delete and the message "the selected file is read only.are you sure you wish to delete file" I click yes and the picture is still there.
It says my iphone backup file was corrupted and I was asked to delete my backup file.where could I find the backup file to delete? I've searched everywhere and I couldnt find it.
When i try to email a photo that I have taken and is stored in my BB a window pop up says " the attachment file may be reduced in size". When the photo comes in the email it looks like a rendering rather than the photograph I took.
Every time I take a picture with my Blackberry, it says, "file not found" and won't save to my phone. I've tried going into properties and running an error check when plugged into my computer, pulled the battery, and nothing works. Anyone know how to fix this?
i have a blackberry 8520 curve. I recently upgraded the bbm version to 6.0.Earlier whenever i used to send the picture file of large size (about 1-2 mb), bbm used to give an option to select the resolution & size of the file to be sent. But after the upgrade it automatically compresses the file (for eg from 2.5 mb file to 60kb) & sends it across.how can i get the option of resolutions & size before sending the picture file.
I Have already sync my iphon on my friend computer. I was going to sync my i phon now on my new computer. It asking me to replace, do i loose my picture and file if i click on replace?
I received a video in my BBM.When I play the video I have sound but NO Picture. Is there a setting I should be changing or does someone know how I can watch the video.
I requested a photo of a jobsite from a client. They sent it in a DOCX format (a picture??) My Torch 9800 saved it to Media card, but I can't find it. I looked in Word and everywhere. No luck.
how to 'release' a .BAR file? My app submission is currently in Draft status.I have no idea where or what a File Bundle is, or where to place the device-name.My release.txt file contains [code] I zipped it and it was accepted. But they still want a File Bundle and Device.I also zipped my config.bar and that was also accepted.
I just recently upgraded to OS 5 and i have been going through a bit of a pain as everything that i was used to with OS 4 is has changed ! (some for the better but some worse !)anyways to the point. I realized that my picture count has been resetted to IMG00001-xxxxx. Is there anyway i could reset it so that it would continue my original count ?Its a pain finding the pictures as it would be in-between my older pictures with the low counts.
I deleted a load of images from my pictures file to free up space, they disappeared as expected but when i plugged my BB into my PC they all returned again, twice, as read only files that cannot be deleted!
Recently I started problems with photos taken with my Vivaz: 1. When I trying to export photo in Picassa example to my PC desktop, its gives me an error: Unable to write all files due to Disk Error. 2. When I trying to rotate photo with Windows Photo Viewer, its says: there's problem with Picture File properties.
First I thought maybe is problem in Picasa or in Windows7, but with photos, taken half an year ago, everything is OK! I have checked twice all camera settings in Vivaz, didn't find nothing. Camera settings has been all the time the same: HD (16:9), Google Geo etc. Here is one photo with problems for downloading.
I would just like to report that the Xperia mini pro (and possibly also Xperia mini) camera does not keep track of picture number in file names properly. It will keep track of the number as long as the user does not delete any pictures, but as soon the user deletes one/more/all pictures taken with the phone's camera, the camera system will "fill the numbering gaps" when new pictures are taken, instead of just continuing from the number of the last picture taken.
I was trying to delete a picture but I keep getting a message of: The file is currently in use. How do i go about getting rid of this particular picture? I don"t seem to have a problem with any of the other pictures I took around the same time, just this one. i have to add that something weird did happen during this time (taking and sending pictures) and I shut the phone off and it seemed okay again.
Twice recently it has happened to me that I have completely lost pictures when reframing with the Nokia Camera app.The following has happened:
I opened a photo from the camera roll in Nokia Camera, reframed it, clicked save. As usual, the progress bar indicates that the app is working, but then an error message appears, saying nothing except "an error occured. Please try again later", and then the photo is gone.
When looking at the camera roll folder on the computer, one sees that the 5MP photo file has a size of 0 bytes, and the highres file has vanished completely from the phone.
My phone randomly won't play any of my ringtones or loaded music. One person called me and my profile changed my ringtone to a standard tone. Once I try to play the ringtone it won't. So then I tried to download new ringtones and I got the message error reading; File System out of resources. Once I was in another location it started working again.. it seems to be getting messed up when I am in my home, but this has never happened before.
I'm switching from my old (but beloved) curve 8520 to a new bold 9900 and i would like to know how is it possible to (safely) transfer files (mail, contacts, numbers etc) from my old device to the new one. My idea was to do a back up of my 8520 and than upload it to the bold 9900. is that the right way to transfer file?
I took a couple of pictures with my BB cam, a couple of days later I decided to delete those pictures but everytime I try the BB show mw a message that says:"The file is currently in use"If I select OK; it doesn't delete it and it is the only option to select.
I had a picture that I sent with BBM. After chat cleared and ended I tried to delete the pic but keeps saying file is in use. I have tried over and over to delete including powering off and removing the battery for several minutes then trying again but still no luck.
How do I delete pictures I've taken on the camera AND screenshots that I've taken? On the S6. On the S4 you just held down on the photo for a few seconds and were given the option to delete.
I have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
i had a picture and i accidently hit clear all in sms convo. picutre and all convo is gone. but i just need the picture is there anyway to recover the picture?
I accidentally sync the picture I don't want from iTune to my iPhone, than I try to delete in my iPhone, but there are no any delete or trash icon appear in the picture and album?
