Dec 8, 2011I am using Nokia E63 Phone.My Phone Genrating autometiclay Files and folders [code] folders are there and size is 42MBAnd daily it is increasing.I have formeted my Phone twice..And re installed software.The file formet is .datneither i am able to delete them nor i am able to Move them to any other place.Please help me which application creating them. [code] I am having a lots of problems due to it.Last Time size of these files become 90MB and I was forced To reinstall the software again.

May 22, 2012I just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared. Also, I'm trying to see the hidden process that runs on my phone and I have no idea how because that dont shows in the application list. I dont know how to free more space on C: , got 46 Mb free and I dont know to free up more space.

Jul 5, 2012I received the 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) OTA update for my Droid Razr on Tuesday morning July 3, 2012. The install was uneventful. One feature of the previous operating system I use frequently is File Manager. I noticed that after the OTA update to ICS that the feature to "Move" does not work, or at least doesn't allow me to move files from Internal Storage to the SD Card. I searched the Forums and didn't find any discussions about File Manager not working the same in ICS as it did in Ginger Bread. I read the numerous marketing guides and preparation documents that were published on the Motorola Razr website and didn't read anything about File Manager changing. I downloaded the new Razr Operating Guide for ICS and found no discussion about File Manager being different.
I tried Motorola Live Chat and ended up getting referred to Level 2 Tech Support. I have powered the device off and on numerous times in the last 48 hours. I have also done a Power + Volume Down restart but the Move option is still not working. Specifically, I can select a file from a folder in Internal Phone Storage and select Move. I can press the Back arrow-key but as soon as I am back at the File Manager main screen (so I can select SD Card), the option to Move disappears. If I press SD Card (like I did before with Ginger Bread) the Move button does not reappear at the bottom of the page.

Jul 8, 2014I've used ES File Explorer / Manager for years on my Androids. I've had the S5 for a few weeks, and I notice that I can't delete a folder on my SD card. I tried another File Manager from Cheetah, it can't do it either. I can create and delete folders on the phone storage. I can create folders on the SD card, but can't delete them.
For now, I have to connect a USB cable, and delete from my PC, which works fine.

My phone was connected by usb I run Sony PC Companion, windows explorer started and it was writen that SD Card 708MB Free and 3.65GB full, but I double clicked SD card and there was only two files; "customized-capability" and "default-capability". I have checked win explorer Folder Options, hide, unhide selection, do not affect. I am sure that the files are in my phone, I have check from my phone.Now, I could not transfer my pictures, files, movies from my computer.

I do not require these but I do not have the option to delete them - all I can do for now is move them to a new folder which I have called 'Unused apps'. Can anyone shed any light on how I can remove these apps and therefore free up more memory.

Dec 15, 2012Using the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?

Aug 29, 2010I have E71, I used to see the foldersand files in my memory card using file manager, but due to some virus, i took backup of memory card formatted it. the backup folder on my desktop was subjected to virus removal, and then again i restored the clean files to my memory card. but now i can not see the folder in my memory card using nokia e71 file manager but can see the files and folders using Mass Storage mode.
