Nokia Applications :: E63 Unwanted .dat Files Generating In Phone Memory
Dec 8, 2011
I am using Nokia E63 Phone. My Phone Genrating autometiclay Files and folders [code] folders are there and size is 42MBAnd daily it is increasing.I have formeted my Phone twice..And re installed software. The file formet is .datneither i am able to delete them nor i am able to Move them to any other place. Please help me which application creating them. [code] I am having a lots of problems due to it.Last Time size of these files become 90MB and I was forced To reinstall the software again.
I am using Nokia 500. My question is how to delete unwanted files in C: Phone memory, which has 83MB SIS applications and 81 MB other files and why daily the free memory is getting reduced for example it was 100 mb earlier and I dint even installed new applications and it reduced to 20 MB, is there any option as we have in computer like clearing files in %temp% and prefetch .
I can not delete many application from phone memory which are not needed. And more over there are many application which are installed in phone memory despite having 16 GB memory card. This is really bad part of xeperia ray. we shud have option to install application either on device or on SD card for every application like we have in other phones.
I want to replace my current memory card for one of a bigger capacity but want to move the apps that are stored on it over to the new card. Not sure how to go about this or even if you can.
My phone C6-00 keeps popping the message'' memory full'' when trying to uninstall unwanted applications. I freed up the memory space but i keep getting the same message.
I have an N96. Recently, I have noticed that the memory (C: Phone Memory) is being used up. I have been constantly deleting stuff from this drive but although it clears about 1 or 2 Mb each time, the memory gets filled up again. The list of the stuff I do is:-
Clear all messages, inbox, outbox and sent. Clear the browser cache. Check for any unusual files using X-Plore Occasionally check Google Maps, resetting it (although I never use it).
I have been searching for difference opinions as to what is causing this problem and keep seeing that a reset may help but I really don't want to do this if it is un-necessary. What I checked the details of the C: drive, I get :-
80Mb Memory in use 3032kb Free memory 411b Calender 31kb Contacts 5kb Messages 0b Images 0b Sound files 0b Video clips 181kb Documents 0b MIDP apps 9601kb SIS applications 70MB Other files
I have no idea what these other files are and how to get rid of them.Any help would be appreciated as I have already had the phone unable to load at start up due to lack of memory (although I managed to get this sorted). It just seems the memory keeps filling up. Two days ago, I had 5Mb free, a couple of hours ago it was 120kb. I have only got this room by removing the N-Gage app.
Is there anyway i can access the other file in the phone memory.everytime i download an app it keep reducing eventhough it install the app in my card memory.and i dont think all the file there are of great importance to the system itself.now i'm left with just 3mb. hard format doesnt seem to delete this file
I need answer to one problem. My nokia N 96 says that phone memory is full. How I can delete some files from phone memory? I have in download folder 18 MB some files but I cant access to this folder.
I know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc). Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?
I have a problem with my Nokia 5300 because the phone theme was corrupted and I cant changed or restore it due to my other problems: my phone memory is full so i cant change theme which is very much larger memory and i cant also restore the memory because my phone memory fills through the messages which is already empty but still contains Kb&Mb, what will i do? The phone memory is approximately 10 kb and the messages/drafts are empty but still contains almost 2mb.
have had the samsung galaxy s5 phone for 10 months and now and only receiving sound from ear bud from phone- occurring with samsung ear buds and bose sports ear buds - i tried finding a setting in the phone did not find anything - what could be causing this issue? very annoying sound from one ear bud - each set of ear buds work fine on other media types.
Okay, so I have got my Lumia 820 and tried to send my contacts from my old N8. I managed to connect via bluetooth and send the contacts, but they are no where to be found. Tried going into Phone Storage, but from there I can only see how much memory is taken up and how much is left.
how I could access the phone storage memory and the files on there?
I wanna know what do i do to close open apps such as chat,watsapp..bucz i thought not being them means thewre closed. I just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared. Also, I'm trying to see the hidden process that runs on my phone and I have no idea how because that dont shows in the application list. I dont know how to free more space on C: , got 46 Mb free and I dont know to free up more space.
When I start any application on phone its show a message like saying that Low memory space but there is 30 mb of free space in my phone phone model is 5233
This problem is driving me insane! I've had my LG G3 for a week now. The selling feature for me was the 128GB micro sd card option. Shortly after I got the phone, I bought a 128GB card on eBay. It arrived a few days ago. Right after I got it is when the problem started. I tried moving files from my phone to the card. But then I noticed my files disappearing on the card. So I tried a smaller 64GB card to see if the 128GB was faulty. Neither of the cards have worked. I've done everything possible like reformating, erasing, restarting my phone, using a different card.
HOW CAN ICHECK THE MEMORY STATUS FOR BOTH THE PHONE MEMORY AND THE MEMORY CARD AND CAN I CHOOSE THE MEMORY CARD AS MY PRIMARY MEANS OF STORAGE ESPECIALLY FOR MUSIC AND PHOTOS.
i had a problem that other files in my phone are rapidly increasing in size they have increased from 60 mb to 103 mb in two days and now my phone take so many time to process any application that i open.i want to set memory card as default memory for all application as i had saved maps, messages in memory card.I think that internet browsing has eaten my phone memory, i had also deleted all my privacy data from internet but nothing helped me.
I am using HTC M8 and my issue is with hiding video files. For hiding video files I am using gallery vault app. The problem is that I have a video file (wmv format) 1 gb in size on my SD card and when I try to hide the file using gallery vault or any other video hiding app the video file reduces phone memory. I was told that when a file in SD card is encrypted it is getting stored in the same destination (SD card). For eg. a file in SD would remain in SD even after hiding. So why does the files which are hidden is reducing my phones memory. I had the same problem with my S4 phone.
Two Samsung U800, two 8GB micro-SD cards, about 6,000 files of mixed type (videos, music, pictures) in a lot of folders and sub-folders and those files are supposed to be on both memory cards in identical orders to be used in both phones. Either phone refuses to see some of the files even though they very clearly are on the respective memory card.
Reformatted the cards multiple times, uploading the files taking for ever, only to find that now some other files are "not there" according to the phone while they are pretty damn well "there" according to the computer. Pushing the sam files again via bluetooth results in "file name in use" so the phone KNOWS the files are there, just refuses to show them.
I am trying to install .jar and .tar files onto my Nokia N8 from my pc but failing miserably. I am connecting my device via a usb cable, when the pc recognises the device it brings up the phone's folders (mass memory, phone memory, and media card) When I 'drag' the files from the folder in which they are contained in my pc to the phone I cannot 'drop' them as I get that pesky red circle with the red line through it.
I have a Nokia 2330. It is a relatively cheap and simple phone, but it is very handy to me because it can receive network signals where oher expensive phones cannot. However, I cannot install .sis, and .exe files. I have seen a posted answer about an .exe fie. It was indicated that it must be converted to a .sisx file (if I am correct). install these files, or how to convert it for it to be compatible for use on my phone.
I found few unused/irrlevant applications loaded in the mobile. Few of these applications starts as default processes and keeps running in the background. If the applications are not part of core operating system and not required to always keep in mobile, should be allowed to remove them.
Am on win 8. All my media files are showing up in phone mem + sd card memory. I once deleted all media from phone, removed my sd card and inserted it back but still media files seems to occupy both phone + sd memory.
