Jan 24, 2011i am using nokia E5 . I have problem in the contact. I can save my contact. But if i again open to view the contact i will come's like "file corrupted".

Sep 6, 2011When in Contacts I try to go to options and a message comes up "File Corrupted" so cannot go into a contact to retrieve or edit. Same with Facebook App, when selected, try to enter and same message. Have reset to factory settings - no good. Have replaced sim card - no good.

Aug 29, 2010I have E71,I used to see the foldersand files in my memory card using file manager, but due to some virus, i took backup of memory card formatted it. the backup folder on my desktop was subjected to virus removal, and then again i restored the clean files to my memory card. but now i can not see the folder in my meory card using nokia e71 file manager but can see the files and folders using Mass Storage mode. please hlep me in resolving this issue, as I extensively use email and need to send lot of mobile files as attachment to my customers any time any where .

Apr 25, 2011I am using Nokia E7. I found this deature where in you can map a remore WEBDAV address drive to your Nokia File manager. I have accounts with skydrive, box, drivehq ets. I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me? Is there a step by step document/guide which shows us how this can be done? The user manual provided with E7 does not have all these details!!

Jul 3, 2011i am an e7 user. I was recently downloading a couple of videos at the same time when my phone hanged and had to be restarted. When it did restart, most of the files had to be redownloaded. All except one. The downloads list claims that the file has been saved. The video plays bt isnt completely downloaded.The problem now is that i cant delete the video through the file manager. The error msg says web:already in use.. When i tried deleting the file from the downloads list of the web browser, there was a similar msg.

Mar 9, 2012I have a small AVI video file (3.5MB) converted to mobile format (output profile reading "Mobile Phone MPEG-4 Movie..mp4") using Any Video Converter. With a view to copying the file to my E71 phone, I connected the phone to PC (Dell Studio 1558 system running W7 HP) via the USB (using the PC Siute mode in the first attempt and then the Mass Storage mode in my next attempt). I then proceeded to open the video file's shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone's link that was being displayed as the E71 icon. But PC Suite reported inability to "copy the file". In the case of Mass Storage option too, the result was similar. Strangely, in several instances of my effort PC Suite was even found reporting that the "device has stopped responding or disconnected from PC" even though Suite's Home Page was showing my phone's icon as being in sync. s shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone

Mar 1, 2011i have problem in restoring data i backed up before upgrading the firmware from 4.62 to latest 7.23 and managing a full restore of my quite old supernova 7210, as i wasn't able to let nokia pc suite recognizing the phone (error every time i plug the phone).i created an internal nokia backup file (NBF) with messages, calendar, settings and contacts.i updated the firmware and now i'm trying to restore everything i need.now the issue: i'm able to restore "contacts", "settings" and "calendar", but when i check also "messages" option, after 2% of completion the phone told me that there's "no backup file available".what can i do now?i know those NBF files are zip files; is not possible to create a new backup file and merge the old messages folder "predefmessages", stored in the original NBF-zip file, into the new one?

Jun 23, 2010when i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.

The list does not open from any options or anything else.It does not even appear and open with empty contacts.After trying to open the shortcut or the Contacts menu the screen clears and returns to the previous page.
