Just got a new E5 and having a problem where the contact list won't open at all.While trying to access the contact list via the menu/shortcuts, it blinks for a second then returns to the previous screen.
I've done a power cycle, soft reset and updated the phone firmware/software.
Can anybody how to access contact list while a call is going on or call is on hold in Nokia E5 moblile?

The list does not open from any options or anything else.It does not even appear and open with empty contacts.After trying to open the shortcut or the Contacts menu the screen clears and returns to the previous page.

I don't want to configure Facebook and don't know how to avoid this.
My htc one m9 was stolen from me last evening. My question is, can I access my contact list, photos etc on line in someway?When I had the phone in June, I signed up for google drive, various things with htc etc...I've logged into Google drive but I can't seem to see anything related to my htc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy company is requiring me to migrate to Outlook which requires a reset for my BB where I have to wipe the Storm and start all over. I've done this in the past with no trouble, but this time we're transitioning to Outlook, and I'm hearing from numerous colleagues that it DOES empty my Contacts and replaces them with what Contacts I have within Outlook - which is about 5% of what I have in my BB Contact List. I need to do this today. Can anyone help me in understanding how to access and at least print the list so that I know how to keep it? Also, I backed up my BB on Desktop Manager last night, just in case, but when I try to search for the Contact info I couldn't find anything.

How do I remove the devices in the list or better still stop the list from popping up at all? When it did restart, most of the files had to be redownloaded. All except one. The downloads list claims that the file has been saved. The video plays bt isnt completely downloaded.The problem now is that i cant delete the video through the file manager. The error msg says web:already in use.. When i tried deleting the file from the downloads list of the web browser, there was a similar msg.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use my E52 as a modem. I connect it to the PC, I select internet access. The installer comes up, I install the software. Unfortunately, Nokia PC Internet Access says it could not find a Nokia device connected to the PC. (**bleep**, you were installed from it, right now.) If I reconnect E52 to the PC, Nokia PC Internet Access has a completely black window. It pops up another window "Updating..." saying "Installer has found some installed components which are older than those in device's memory. There components will be updated." The progress bar remains at 0% and nothing happens. Cannot even cancel the installation.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.

That functionality is gone now, and I can't seem to find where to re-enable it..
