My htc one m9 was stolen from me last evening. My question is, can I access my contact list, photos etc on line in someway? When I had the phone in June, I signed up for google drive, various things with htc etc...I've logged into Google drive but I can't seem to see anything related to my htc.
Just got a new E5 and having a problem where the contact list won't open at all. While trying to access the contact list via the menu/shortcuts, it blinks for a second then returns to the previous screen.
I've done a power cycle, soft reset and updated the phone firmware/software.
I just noticed today that I have no more pictures (from facebook friends) in my phone contacts. This past weekend I had downloaded app "handcent".I don't kbnow if it's because of that app that the photos are no longer appearing. In any event I deleted the app. and still have no photos. I contacted T-Mobile and after several trys to syncronize, even deleteing factory settings I still don't have any contact photos.
My company is requiring me to migrate to Outlook which requires a reset for my BB where I have to wipe the Storm and start all over. I've done this in the past with no trouble, but this time we're transitioning to Outlook, and I'm hearing from numerous colleagues that it DOES empty my Contacts and replaces them with what Contacts I have within Outlook - which is about 5% of what I have in my BB Contact List. I need to do this today. Can anyone help me in understanding how to access and at least print the list so that I know how to keep it? Also, I backed up my BB on Desktop Manager last night, just in case, but when I try to search for the Contact info I couldn't find anything.
I have a weird problem in my Galaxy SII. Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.
I have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.
On my N97 mini i select a contact out of the contact-list, i select the correct phone-number and make the call. After finishing the call, the screen goes back to main menu.... but the contacts-app sticks active in the background. In order to close that, i have to long-press the button, switch to contacts, and close. Which is a little bit fussily.....
I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?
i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?
"How can I force the Contacts app on my 9780 to only load 1 of my contact lists by default?"
Context:I have 2 primary sources of contact information on my blackberry, my personal (gmail contacts) and my work contacts (via google apps). I would like to keep these contact lists separate and apart from one another, but accessible if required. However, as this device is primarily for work, I'd like to not have my personal contacts appearing every time i open the Contacts app. The effect I am trying to achieve is after opening contacts --> click menu --> click "Select Contact List..." --> and choosing one.Is there a way to save this as a preference/default so I don't have to filter each time i open my contact list?
I pressed the contacts icon and the screen turned blue, as if to load my contacts then it turned back to the basic screen. I also I can't add any new contacts (if someone calls for example). It's just happened for no reason! I have just performed a software update, then turned the phone off, taken the battery and sim card out and put them back in. Turned the phone on - still not resolved!
I have a Nokia N95 and when i go to my contacts none of the contacts appear and there is no "options" just "exit". The numbers are still in my simcard or phone as when people call me their name still appears. I just cannot see anyone's number. Can someone help me?
I own a BB bold 9700 and last night I exchanged phones with a friend, the sim and memory card was removed and then reinserted back in, when i turn on the phone, I realised that all my contacts were gone. I don't know what happened? Those that has to do with a different sim card inserted into the phone? Is it some kinda BB security lockdown software? I'm using the Celcom-Vodafone (Malaysia) package. Please help, I really need to get this working.
I just got a new Blackberry Bold 9650. Since my old phone was so old, the contact list couldn't be transferred. I spent hours and hours putting all of my numbers in by hand and all was well. After I did that, I added my Yahoo email account to the phone. Now the phone numbers I hand puched are gone and all of the contacts are from the email account. My call log lists the names of the people who have called me, so I know the info is somewhere on the phone but I can't find it. I even deleted the email account, but the Yahoo cantacts are still there and the others are still not.
I have BB9700 with OS 6 version 6.0.0.418 which I installed a week ago.Since I installed this new version, I started to face a problem, if I am on the contact list, I can never edit or call any of my contacts, regardless whether I press the blackberry button or do the green key button.I am not able to do any calls to any of my contacts unless I go to the history and search the contact to call them.
My blackberry fell off my bed and now it will not turn on. I am ready to upgrade to another phone, but i would like to get my contact listing from my old phone.
Somehow when I sync my Bold 9700 to my Outlook for Mac (which is linked to my Google mail account), the contacts in my device are duplicated as part of a Contact List that I never created. What's even weirder is that the name of that contact list is named with another email address, which was once from one of my contacts. Confusing?
Anyway, I cannot find anywhere in Outlook or Google, or on my device, an option to remove the bogus contact list.
Over the weekend, I was suddenly no longer able to edit any of my existing contact information or add new contacts. I updated my phone, and that did nothing.
Blackberry dumped my contact list after 2 attempts to enter password (even thou password was correct) Anyway to retrieve my contact list I didn't know you could back it up therefore I didn't
I need some assistance which may seem like a very simple task BUT I'm having a very difficult time with it.I have a Blackberry 8900 and wish to transfer or move somehow my contacts list to my other black berry which is a 9780 Bold...
old storm 1 worked great up until the key board on the phone quit. went to verizon, they couldn't fix it and so i got a new storm2. that is where the trouble started. they down loaded the contact list to the new phone and for some reason everything appeared 4 times. they couldn't fix and after a lot of hell and a wipe of my desktop manager and a new download i have managed to erase the contacts from my phone. however, now the contact list on the phone will not come up and of course the sync still doesn not happen. it shows to be syncing but it always quits with 2 remaining and i get the dreaded error message and then the manager shuts down. the calendar did sync finally and that is working. the emails work and i can make a call as long as i remember the number. i have turned off the picture sync as the forums said that could be the problem.
Discovered that a users BB has 2 contact lists both named Desktop. 1 is contacts that are syncing wirelessly and the other are contacts that were imported from his Standard feature phone back when he got the BB. The Standard feature "Desktop" list is not see on exchange, by Blackberry Desktop Manager, or any other tricks I have tried. It has over 152 contacts with multiple phone numbers on each so we are really hoping to get these moved over and properly syncing.
my contact list is default set to a gmail account that no longer exists (all the contacts are there). i have tried to delete/change this but the option isn't there. how do a establish a new contact list?
My contacts displays everything twice. I have noticed that there is a contact list for an email that does not exist anymore. how to delete the second contact list and the invalid email associated with it.
Today, suddenly, my contacts won;t sync with Outlook. i tried to change the Default Contact list, but the only opion is a gmail account that is not on my phone anymore, not my Outlook account. How do i get the Outlook account back?
The entries in my contact list were created on the phone. I did not import it or sync it with anything. But I cannot edit the contact. I go to phonebook, pick a contact, click edit, then I get the "Contact not found: This contact was not found in the Work Email contact list". I have no idea what this mean.
