I wanna know how to connect my phone with my PC so that I can have a copy of my contact information ( my contacts mobile numbers , home number , e-mail, ect)on my PC.And also I wanna to edit my contacts through my PC.

It would be good to have more than 10 volume levels (20 for example is good) when pressing + or - buttons on the side for changing volume. Many times I need volume level between those avaliable ones when listening music. Looking forward to see this on new software update.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my E6 a week ago and I just now tried to connect it to my pc via bluetooth. Amongst the normal services my pc found was some service " remote control". Can somebody please tell me if that can really function and how? And by the way i read all of the discussion about the batterylife, mine was holdin 3-4 days but i found out that it was because of Whatsapp. So the app forced the phone to connect to wifi all the time, even if the App is completely shut down. And we all know there isn't a wifi-shutdown function, so the phone stayed all night connected to wifi. I deleted Whatsapp just for experiment and since wednsday morning untill now I still have 50% battery, with some internet surfing music and so on.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.

That functionality is gone now, and I can't seem to find where to re-enable it..
My new Nokia E5 Contact List cannot be displayed. I have imported my contacts from my old Nokia 3120 classic unit successfully. The list does not open from any options or anything else.It does not even appear and open with empty contacts.After trying to open the shortcut or the Contacts menu the screen clears and returns to the previous page.

I've done a power cycle, soft reset and updated the phone firmware/software.
Is it possible to see the company name in the contact list. I have the same first name for a lot of people but it helps to have the company name just next to it in smaller font? on the contact list screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought my mom a new E72. One thing that has us stumped is how to insert a phone number from your contacts into the body of an SMS. Pretty much every phone I have ever used has an option to "insert contact" so that you can select a number from your addressbook and insert it into the body of the SMS. I have been unable to find this option in the E72. The only way I have managed to do it is in a very round about manner involving multitasking, going and opening the contact book, then finding the number, copying it, and then pasting it back in the text of the SMS. Is this the only way to do what I want or am I missing something obvious? I can't believe that such a basic functionality would have been left out of a "smart" phone ?

A few days ago it also had problems to start up: I pressed "on" button untill it vibrates (then it normally starts up) but it didn't do anything, after some tries (around 15) it did start up. Then today the phone just shutted down and wasn't able to start up. And I get the message in the title.I have tried hard reset (shift, space, backspace + on) but it doesn't do anything.I have the newest firmware for my country (Belgium) and i think its 92.003 but not entirely sure.

I don't want to configure Facebook and don't know how to avoid this.
I'm unable to access contacts menu from menu>contacts or from button which i had assignet contacts menu. When i select contacts it only only the menu name "contacts" appears on top for 1 second and is returning to initial menu.
