When in Contacts I try to go to options and a message comes up "File Corrupted" so cannot go into a contact to retrieve or edit. Same with Facebook App, when selected, try to enter and same message. Have reset to factory settings - no good. Have replaced sim card - no good.

i am using nokia E5 . I have problem in the contact. I can save my contact. But if i again open to view the contact i will come's like "file corrupted".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've set options for many apps (like to always allow the network access, to ask for reading user data the first time, etc.), but when I start the app, those options are not in effect. As one specific example, for Opera Mini, I set the option to always allow network access. But when I start this app and choose to open a link, it asks for the network access. Same for reading the user data. I checked the settings in the App Manager and they're fine, but just not in effect. I restarted the phone; still the same thing. The settings are present there alright, just not working. What else can be done to tell the phone to use the options set through the App Manager?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E6-00 is currently running firmware v. 021.014 (011-05-26, RM-609), which was on the device when first purchased (SIM free, unlocked). I understand from the Nokia web-site and elsewhere that there has been at least one subsequent fimware update (currently v. 22.014) with minor bug fixes. However, I don't get offered any such updates, either OTA using the E6's SW updater, or alternativeky via Nokia OVI suite (v. 3.1..1.90) on a Windows7 PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've purchased an E7 yesterday and proceeded to try to get Mail for Exchange set up with work.When I entered the value for the "Server name" I entered (the equiv of) myserverdomain.com/owa. The connection failed to connect and I suspect I should have simply put the domain name (not the owa bit) BUT when I go to "Options > Settings > Mail for Exchange > Mailbox" I cannot change the "Server name" field - tapping it does nothing.More generally, I CAN edit: { Mail, Password, Include Signature } and I CANNOT edit { Mailbox, Username, Servername, Domain).

I bought Nokia E5 and I found one of Its Important Features is Contact bar in Standby Mode i start to Define New Contact by Select Add Contact and Then Option and New contact .. then i defined the data foe ex. Home and Its Number 9999999 But After I add Home To Contact bar i want to remove it so i read the manual Guid and I did The Next Steps ....I open Home Contact and Then Select Open and The Select Remove it Remove .. so it Removed already from Screen Contact bar but when Select Add Contact or Search Application i found it still in Contacts.. I mean It Remove from Current Showing StandBY Screen Contacts but it still inside Contact but not Appeared in Screen Cause iam not Select it So How to Remove Home From Screen Contact and Contact Application ... View 7 Replies View Relatedi was updating my e63 yesterday to v400 and at about 2 min left, my software updater roze and the phone stuck at blank screen. i pressed green, 3 and * button as it was xplained in faq, and i was able to boot up my phone. now, few things are missing,ike tiger woods game, facebook, Internet applications. they have shortcuts but not on the phone, maybe something else, but this things are noticeable. i can live with it, but what i can't live is connecting this phone to pc and sync, and future updates. ftware updater won't recognize the phone anymore giving me error "unable to retrieve device information". i disconnected the battery, tried to reinstall ovi suite and software pdater, but nothing works. today i took my phone to work, and was trying to run ater on this computer with clean install (never had any nokia software on isachine). same error message "unable to retrieve device information". the updater suggest to install updater (done!), unplug the usb (done!), remove battery for 10 sec nothing seems to work. well, the phone still works, even though i lost wlan in one of the restarts, but overall the phone is functional. i made calls, sent messages, installed few applications, listening radio right now.

I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me?
