I'm using an E71 and I'm having a problem installing apps, every time I try installing apps is says "file corrupt" but I know that the file is not corrupt. It does this for 'sis' apps only.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading by E7-00 with symbian Anna, my phone frequently runs out of memory. I used RAMinfo free, it shows 125MB free RAM. THis goes down to about 95MB with frequent usage (but all apps closed). However, with the free RAM still at around 95MB, I start getting "Insufficient Memory.close other applications" error.
The only apps running in the background are whatsapp (2.6.29) and socially. I have tried disabling socially for a day and the problem continues. DUring this time, if I scroll through homescreens, my widgets disappear randomly and new applications fail to launch.
I have an installation of "DataWatch" from the Nokia Store that initially failed when my phone lost service in the middle of installation. Nothing I do seems to stop it from showing installation in progress in the store "says 'Installing.'
I've tried power off/on. I've tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds for the "completely power off" option (E7-00.) Given the amount of time required to put things back, I don't want to do a soft reset or a hard reset.
When i try to install 'Nokia Bubbles' after it is done with the first installation, when it is trying to do the second installation (the one that has to connect to internet), it shows 'Installation failed'. This has also happened to two other apps that needed internet connection.

I looked at the "View Details" and notice that this is 3.03 (316), so the version number appears to be an update over the previous 3.03 (246) version.I tried installing it (several times) from the cellphone but it always ends up with "Update failed".Searching around the Internet, I notice that 3.03 (316) seems to be an updated version for the Nokia N86 (previously, this cellphone wasn't officially supported by 3.03 (246)).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI found some applications, such as foursquare and Dropian, cannot be installed on my E7. Other applications, such as Gravity and Y-Browser, were installed without a problem though. I tried both of Ovi Store on the device itself and Ovi Store on PC, but both failed. I am not sure, but I guess it might be related to a Qt issue because Dropian is a Qt-based application. For your reference, my device firmware is up-to-date.

I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me?
