Nov 3, 2011does the gmail app work on the e6, anna sw?? Keep getting an 'installation failure error'. But Google maps app installed no problems.

Eseries / Communicators :: Never-ending Installation With Belle?
Mar 9, 2012I have an installation of "DataWatch" from the Nokia Store that initially failed when my phone lost service in the middle of installation. Nothing I do seems to stop it from showing installation in progress in the store "says 'Installing.'
I've tried power off/on. I've tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds for the "completely power off" option (E7-00.) Given the amount of time required to put things back, I don't want to do a soft reset or a hard reset.

Jan 23, 2012When i try to install 'Nokia Bubbles' after it is done with the first installation, when it is trying to do the second installation (the one that has to connect to internet), it shows 'Installation failed'. This has also happened to two other apps that needed internet connection.

When i click on the ovi store button, the loading image is not in the middle of the screen but at he top left part. I looked at the "View Details" and notice that this is 3.03 (316), so the version number appears to be an update over the previous 3.03 (246) version.I tried installing it (several times) from the cellphone but it always ends up with "Update failed".Searching around the Internet, I notice that 3.03 (316) seems to be an updated version for the Nokia N86 (previously, this cellphone wasn't officially supported by 3.03 (246)).

Jul 19, 2010The E52 is an absolute failure... apart from being nice and easy to use and nice keypad, the rest is utter trash. I have had this phone fail several times, i only use it for sms, thats is, never connected to PC or downoad any **bleep**, patches etc for it, and time and time again, Nokia takes people 'smoney to 'reset' this ohoine and send it back. It costs money, and time, and a lot of frustrations also having to go without a phone in the first place. The start up codes do not work for me. I am told it is a software failure, such unreliable, it just shuts down oen time never tostart again, if it does you get the phone start up failed contact your retailer.

Nov 13, 2011I found some applications, such as foursquare and Dropian, cannot be installed on my E7. Other applications, such as Gravity and Y-Browser, were installed without a problem though. I tried both of Ovi Store on the device itself and Ovi Store on PC, but both failed. I am not sure, but I guess it might be related to a Qt issue because Dropian is a Qt-based application. For your reference, my device firmware is up-to-date.

Jul 18, 2010E72 MfE sync problems after latest firmware, just wanted to add detail from admin_log1.txt (Nokia?) troubleshoot.Problem started as soon as I took latest firmware 031.023. Formatted memory card, *#7370# hard reset, reinstall f/w and still MfE fails to sync. Via a Blackberry and IPhone sync works fine, via phone browser to Outlook OWA access works fine too, so I'm assuming Activesync is fine server-side but something broken in new build.

May 13, 2010I've been trying without success to install the new firmware update. I've tried re-installing using the Nokia Software Updater, but kept getting Device Recovery errors and the phone turned off and lost its connection. After reading other posts, I did a soft reset on my phone then re-installed the firmware without anymore However, now the phone WON'T TURN ON AT ALL! When I press and hold the Power On/Off button on the top, it makes a buzzing sound, but the screen stays dark and doesn't turn on. Before you ask, the phone battery was fully charged. My 58000 is totally unusuable. How do I get it to power on?

Oct 31, 2012My Nokia E71 (it's black so it may be an E71x, I guess) keeps giving me out of memory errors. I use my phone for nothing but voice calls, text messages, and emails. I have cleared all call logs, deleted all emails except 5 (they have no attachments) and cleared deleted emails, and deleted all text messages. I went into file manager and made sure there are no images, videos, etc. on the phone. I set up options to use memory card for emails. I've turned the phone off, waited 15 or 20 seconds, and turned it back on.
I did all this a couple weeks ago. Ever since then. every couple days I get these out of memory errors, and the phone memory shows me 119 MB used and something like 300K free. I'm at the point where every few emails that come in, I have to delete all emails, erase all text messages, etc. or the phone is just too low on memory to operate. I don't have any additional applications installed. I've even tried to delete built-in apps such as RealPlayer but it didn't seem like that was possible.

Apr 1, 2012I tried to update my E71, first on the platform of Nokia Ovi Suite and later on Nokia Suite, but I always got the error:12071 when the progress went to install software stage. Does everyone know what is going wrong? I did the update following the steps.I saw some other people have also ever met this problem. Nokia Software Updater was suggested as a solution. However, this part should have been included in the Nokia Suite already (correct me if I am wrong as I cannot find this package on Nokia website).
