I still can't get any incoming email through the email client without hitting "send/receive" manually.This problem happened after upgrading to the new firmware.I called today and Nokia Care told me to install the firmware upgrade again using the computer this time.But when I try it says I already have the latest firmware. How do I over ride that - and reinstall the firmware again using the Nokia Software Updater on the computer?
Also,he told me if this doesn't work I would have to send it to them - they would reinstall the firmware themselves - and if it STILL didn't work - it would be deemed a "bug" - they would send me my N900 back and I would have to wait until the next firmware upgrade. The last firmware upgrade took 6 months.So, what is my "warranty" for?I did buy one.how come they can send me back a "broken" phone with no incoming email?

I took my N97 in for its second service in the past 5 weeks, this time because it froze and wouldn't make or receive calls.I was told that it was going automatically to message bank.I have never used or even activated message bank, so i don't know how that would unexpectedly start happening.I was also told that the reason i have so many troubles (crashes, freezes etc) with my phone is because i am using third party files on it.
I have to use PC Suite and i have to convert my chosen computer files into suitable N97 files.I also have to leave the phone clean of any files, applications, downloads or extras for a week to make sure that it works properly. then i can put my converted photos and music onto it.I can also put my OVI games & applications back on it.
Why is it reccommended that we do a Back Up before any resets or formatting, if the files on the back up are corrupted and possibly causing the troubles to recur?What is the point of having a memory card.

I tried yesterday to find a way to synch my outlook calendar with my Wildfire. The interweb told me to download a tool to my laptop (htc synch) to do so, but that didn't work (basically because after the download finished my laptop said there was some kind of tech error). Tried this 3 times .

Recently (3/20) I have visited Delhi,Rohini Nokia Care center (Dexter) (India). I vistied to resolve my front camera issue. Front camera video is coming Green. When I today (3/21) reached to collect phone and told them to please get me tested the phone front camera, what they told me is "there is no Front camera in E71. If you prove will give you new phone? This is pathetic they even don't know that there is front video camera in the phone. My jobsheet no is 11433527/100320113. Even I saw jobsheet, they have not even tested it. Engineer: Sukhbir,Amit and Sanjeev denied that there is Front Camera in this phone.If I(Me) prove then will give me new phone....Now I am ready to Prove Will Nokia Provide me new phone Who will resolve my issue Please tell me Grievance cell email id. Or i need to go to Consumer court for this?

My N900 micro-USB connector died only few months after I bought it. I sent it off to customer care and now they're telling me the phone is out of warranty due to either being out of the warranty period, being physically damaged or being water damaged. I took good care of the phone and it worked fine until the battery died.
I need to send every email twice to get a response and they never seem to listen to me.I asked them to reevaluate their verdict and then they asked me for proof of purchase - which I already sent with the damn phone! It seems like the people responding to the emails have no connection to the people who actually have the phone at the repair center.What can I do?

Today I called Nokia Support, because I could not download maps with map loader.The guy asked if the ovi suite is installed. I told him, that the Ovi suite keeps on crashing on start-up on my machine, and that all other software is running fine, e.g. the PC suite which I am using instead.
For a price of 14 Cent/Minutes this "Nokia-Care"-guy had the nuts telling me that probably my computer needs to be fixed. After telling him that my computer works fine with all other software, he finally told me that I need to call Microsoft, as it would be their fault that Ovi Suite is not running on my machine.
This is a poor joke called "Nokia-Care". Dear Nokia-people, that is no-support and no-care-at-all. Providing something that crashes for free, and charging money for providing rudeness on the phone.

In some countries, phone numbers are listed as 1800-pizza deliver or just 93-postoffice or something like that. Using number pads with letters, this is no problem but the default N97 mini dialer has only numbers and no letters. I have searched the web for third party dialers but no luck, Can someone please advise?
I used to own a E63. Same problem with keypad but there was a work-round. I used this work round using the N97 mini physical keypad but no dice.

I've a nokia 5130c-2 xpressmusic. Does it support 8gb memory card? I've tried 4gb memory card and it does not make any problem. But in nokia website, it says 5130 only support 2gb but i've used 4gb memory card. Can i use 8gb memory card on my phone? And what's the accurate memory card capacity of my phone?

I have a Nokia 5800 Express Music.For fow days I was facing issue with side lock key button. I took my phone for repair to nokia care center in Aundh. They kept my phone with them for 2 days and returned it to me as it is after 2 days.When I checked on delivery the problem still persisted. They said the key needs to be replaced and will take few days and come back after 2 days. When I went back they said 2 more days, after 2 days they said again 2 days. I had to visit there office 5-6 times just to hear 2 more days.When I tried to escalate using service center they said can not take complient. Just getting frustrated day by day with Nokia service.

I have had the device for about 3 months and I have never had problems sending emails before, however over the last 3 days when I try and send an email it just sits in my outbox and then after a while it says failed. I receive emails fine so this is baffling me. I've noticed a similar problem was addressed however that is specific to getting an error 500 message and I don't get that. I tried the work through anyway but it still didn't solve the issue.

I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.

I Have an E72 RM-529 . Sof. Version: 022.007.244.02 After in run the mentioned update, i am unable to send emails from my mobile. All of them keep in Outgoing Tray, never leave the mobile. I made no changes to its setup and it wasd working fine with previous version 021.xxxxxx.

Been using the N900 for a few weeks now, replacing one of my superb E90s. So far, sort of so good, the major differences in the user interface are causing a few issues, but I sort of expected that!Does anyone have any answers to the following please?
1. Is there some way of being notified of my emails better? I have four accounts on my Nokia Messaging account, and I have to open each one and check each inbox individually. Pain in the neck; is there an app that shows on the main menu screen what new emails are in which box?
2. Can SMS be marked read? My N900 keeps reporting that I have so many new SMSs, but I have actually read them;
3. Why do all my contacts' birthdays come up twice in the calendar? That's just annoying - it looks as though the N900 is adding a birthday automatically;
4. Is there a setting to allow the system to change from portrait to landscape and back again? My device only seems to do this on a few applications - is this normal?
5. Skype - is there a way to see which contacts are on line, other than having to wade through the contact lists? I have over 2,000 contacts and it is pretty time consuming, if I am just looking for a chat with anyone about.

how do i buy applecare extended warranty for iphone ?i am overseas and my grandma will visit the NY store to setup extend the extended warranty - she knows nothing about gadgets...not even how to use a computer !if she goes to the apple store and pays $70,does the genius extend warranty extended electronically ? or do they give you a box which you bring home to setup and extend the warranty manually ?

I purchase the iPhone 4 with Telus and at the same time purchased and registered Apple Care to the device. The other day I decided to go with another provider that gave a better plan for the iPhone 4 and so I switched. My question is can I transfer the Apple Care to the new iPhone 4 and if so how do I do it?

How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.

I just got my N-1 today and it is AMAZING. My only problem is the fact that its a fingerprint magnet. I plan on adding a screen protector but as of right now the screen needs to be cleaned. Any advice on what sort of material to use? I don't want to scratch up the screen.

I have purchaesed Xperia Ray on 18th March. Recently i have faced display problem. I have given at Service center on 28th May.Thay told within 7-10 days it will take.
I called customer care after 10 days, they are telling some reasons, and they are not giving proper status/ action on this work order. If i want to know the status i need to call more than 4 times per day, to know the status, they will keep in hold to transfer to higher executives or to get the status from the team. I have faced this problem from the last few days. (14-06-12,13-06-12...)
