Jun 27, 2010Now that I received my iPhone 4, I realize that there is no insurance on it. I ordered on ATT.com and was never offered Apple Care. Should they have offered it? Can I still get it?

Jul 3, 2010How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.

May 25, 2012next week I get my new (first) iPhone from Vodafone (Germany). An iPhone 4S, and as all know, the display is very critical. My old phone, fell very often down, but it was an HTC desire and so nothing happen. But I think, with a iPhone 4S I have not so much luck. That the reason, why I think about Apple Care. Is there a Coverage for broken displays? Or do I need Apple Care+? If I need Apple Care+, is this available for germany? Because I don't see it at the german page. I think I can buy it, but accept the apple care+ me from germany? And second question. Do I need the Apple Care for the first year of my iPhone? Because it's free for the first year if I understand it right, and then can buy it for the second year? Or do I understand it wrong? If this it right, again: are broken display covered for the first free/included year?

Apr 28, 2010I took my N97 in for its second service in the past 5 weeks, this time because it froze and wouldn't make or receive calls.I was told that it was going automatically to message bank.I have never used or even activated message bank, so i don't know how that would unexpectedly start happening.I was also told that the reason i have so many troubles (crashes, freezes etc) with my phone is because i am using third party files on it.
I have to use PC Suite and i have to convert my chosen computer files into suitable N97 files.I also have to leave the phone clean of any files, applications, downloads or extras for a week to make sure that it works properly. then i can put my converted photos and music onto it.I can also put my OVI games & applications back on it.
Why is it reccommended that we do a Back Up before any resets or formatting, if the files on the back up are corrupted and possibly causing the troubles to recur?What is the point of having a memory card.

When I today (3/21) reached to collect phone and told them to please get me tested the phone front camera, what they told me is "there is no Front camera in E71. If you prove will give you new phone? This is pathetic they even don't know that there is front video camera in the phone. My jobsheet no is 11433527/100320113. Even I saw jobsheet, they have not even tested it. Engineer: Sukhbir,Amit and Sanjeev denied that there is Front Camera in this phone.If I(Me) prove then will give me new phone....Now I am ready to Prove Will Nokia Provide me new phone Who will resolve my issue Please tell me Grievance cell email id. Jun 9, 2010My N900 micro-USB connector died only few months after I bought it. I sent it off to customer care and now they're telling me the phone is out of warranty due to either being out of the warranty period, being physically damaged or being water damaged. I took good care of the phone and it worked fine until the battery died.
I need to send every email twice to get a response and they never seem to listen to me.I asked them to reevaluate their verdict and then they asked me for proof of purchase - which I already sent with the damn phone! It seems like the people responding to the emails have no connection to the people who actually have the phone at the repair center.What can I do?

Feb 17, 2010Today I called Nokia Support, because I could not download maps with map loader.The guy asked if the ovi suite is installed. I told him, that the Ovi suite keeps on crashing on start-up on my machine, and that all other software is running fine, e.g. the PC suite which I am using instead.
For a price of 14 Cent/Minutes this "Nokia-Care"-guy had the nuts telling me that probably my computer needs to be fixed. After telling him that my computer works fine with all other software, he finally told me that I need to call Microsoft, as it would be their fault that Ovi Suite is not running on my machine.
This is a poor joke called "Nokia-Care". Dear Nokia-people, that is no-support and no-care-at-all. Providing something that crashes for free, and charging money for providing rudeness on the phone.

IPhone :: Phone Goes To Apple Logo Then Shuts Off
Mar 31, 2010My jailbroken iPhone 3GS running on 3.1 was not responding to anything so I did the home button + power button reset, and it seems to be in this loop of turning on, staying on for about 40 seconds, then just shuts off. My computer won't detect it, I have tried SSH'ing so I can back up my stuff that way, because I haven't backed up since last October, which is not a good thing at all. I have heard of iRecovery but I'm not sure if it will put my phone in restore mode or not, I DO NOT want to restore my phone. Unless I really have to, but hopefully someone can elaborate for me exactly what iRecovery does, or if theres something else I can do.
