IPhone :: Apple Care - Coverage For Broken Display Of 4S?

next week I get my new (first) iPhone from Vodafone (Germany). An iPhone 4S, and as all know, the display is very critical. My old phone, fell very often down, but it was an HTC desire and so nothing happen. But I think, with a iPhone 4S I have not so much luck. That the reason, why I think about Apple Care. Is there a Coverage for broken displays? Or do I need Apple Care+? If I need Apple Care+, is this available for germany? Because I don't see it at the german page. I think I can buy it, but accept the apple care+ me from germany? And second question. Do I need the Apple Care for the first year of my iPhone? Because it's free for the first year if I understand it right, and then can buy it for the second year? Or do I understand it wrong? If this it right, again: are broken display covered for the first free/included year?

how do i buy applecare extended warranty for iphone ?i am overseas and my grandma will visit the NY store to setup extend the extended warranty - she knows nothing about gadgets...not even how to use a computer !if she goes to the apple store and pays $70,does the genius extend warranty extended electronically ? or do they give you a box which you bring home to setup and extend the warranty manually ?

I purchase the iPhone 4 with Telus and at the same time purchased and registered Apple Care to the device. The other day I decided to go with another provider that gave a better plan for the iPhone 4 and so I switched. My question is can I transfer the Apple Care to the new iPhone 4 and if so how do I do it?

I was wondering about apple care for the iPhone. Do you think it is worth it? Tell me your experience/opinions on Apple Care for iPhone. What does it cover exactly? Does it suck? Is it a rip off? I pre ordered the iPhone 4 (my first iPhone) and I am debating on whether or not i need the extra insurance.

Now that I received my iPhone 4, I realize that there is no insurance on it. I ordered on ATT.com and was never offered Apple Care. Should they have offered it? Can I still get it?

How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.

My iPhone has a broken display screen and I can't connect with my iTunes because it says I have to log into my phone. I can't log into my phone because it is not working. I tried pressing the home button and then acting out the motions of entering my password, but nothing is happening. I have my replacement phone and I'm trying to reset my broken phone, but I can''t do that until I log into iTunes.I am doing this on a PC computer.

So as I was downloading a new theme for my jailbroken phone it froze. So I reset the phone and now its stuck on apple logo and doesn't change. periodically it will give me a white spiral on the bottom of the apple logo but that is it. I don't know how to get it to that special mode to reset.I guess my phone is bricked

The one thing is: I wanted to find my 'notes' on the note app but I can't find them in the internal storage or the SD card. I've had my Xperia Z3 from T-Mobile for the last 8-9 months, no issues till, well, today when I decided to test if the phone was really waterproof (1.5m for 30min as per the specs). Â Verified all slots were tightly closed and used for about 15 minutes taking some pictures and video underwater (approx 50cm deep), no problem at all. Â After those 15 minutes however the screen stopped responding to inputs. Â It was still displaying content though (camera), just not responding to inputs. Â

I was able to reboot the phone by pressing power + volume up for a few seconds. The phone seems to be rebooting fine but the screen is not displaying anything now. Â I can see the screen is backlit, and if I press the volume up or down buttons I hear the usual beeps, but the screen is not displaying anything at all. Â

My biggest issue now, besides what seems to be water damage on my display, is that I need to recover my phone data (images and some docs) as soon as possible. Â I tried connecting it to my PC via USB to access the internal storage and get what I needed, but my phone has a swipe code and since the screen is not displaying anything I can't unlock it for my PC to see it.

I have a 3gs that i jailbroke with jailbreakme.com a few weeks ago. today it froze and when i tried to restart it, it shows the apple logo with the spinning wheel and it just keeps spinning. What can i do if i dont want to restore it because it will upgrade my phone to 4.0.2 and i still want the jailbreak?

My Iphone 4S Was fully submerged in water, it has not worked for weeks but i plugged it in to the charger today and it worked started up, charged fine the apple logo appeared and then it just stayed black, I managed to type my passcode in without seeing the screen and it unlocked fine.
