The other day I decided to go with another provider that gave a better plan for the iPhone 4 and so I switched. Jul 3, 2010How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.

May 25, 2012next week I get my new (first) iPhone from Vodafone (Germany). An iPhone 4S, and as all know, the display is very critical. My old phone, fell very often down, but it was an HTC desire and so nothing happen. But I think, with a iPhone 4S I have not so much luck. That the reason, why I think about Apple Care. Is there a Coverage for broken displays? Or do I need Apple Care+? If I need Apple Care+, is this available for germany? Because I don't see it at the german page. I think I can buy it, but accept the apple care+ me from germany? And second question. Do I need the Apple Care for the first year of my iPhone? Because it's free for the first year if I understand it right, and then can buy it for the second year? Or do I understand it wrong? If this it right, again: are broken display covered for the first free/included year?

I have no idea what price. Right now I started the bidding at $200, but I think that might be to high to start if off like that. I did the bid for 3 days because I wanted to get the Lost Complete Series Blu-Ray Collection ASAP (hopefully on Tuesday) lol.
I can still edit my price, since no one has bided on it yet.
Here is what I'm offering, Apple iPhone 3GS Black (32GB) in Like NEW CONDITION, iOS 4.0.2 Software, perfect screen (absolutely no scratches anywhere on the iPhone 3GS).

Mar 15, 2012I never thought I would drop my iphone 4 ever. I had it unknowingly on my lap, as I was getting out the car it flew in the air and landed on the back. The back of the phones glass is shattered but luckily no pieces fell off. Does anyone know of a legit back replacement I can use? I want to get a whole new backing for it with the pentalobe screw driver. I just don't know if I am getting scammed since there are so many fakes that distribute them. I was also wondering if there is a very cheap alternative to just buying a thin plastic case and placing it over the broken glass. The case would have to go over the back only since I hate extra bulk.

Jul 29, 2010I'm not new to buying phones off of eBay, but usually I do buy it now from a very large and prolific store for new imported GSM phones (like my current Samsung g600). I have never gotten a domestic US phone and want to get a Samsung Vibrant, but many of the cheaper new or used deals are from individual users with relatively smaller feedback numbers. How would I go about making sure I don't get a stolen phone from one of them? I know Verizon checks ESN numbers for their CDMA phones but I don't know what protections GSM phones have, if they have any at all. Do they check IMEI numbers? I think I remember hearing that custom firmwares will erase the number, so it isn't a good indicator and can be used against me to sell a phone. So for anyone buying domestic used or new phones, any tips on avoiding these situations? And even if I do end up with one, it probably won't brick on me like a CDMA phone would?
