Aug 20, 2010A few hours ago I put my iPhone 3GS on ebay. I've been buying from ebay for years, but never sold anything.
I have no idea what price. Right now I started the bidding at $200, but I think that might be to high to start if off like that. I did the bid for 3 days because I wanted to get the Lost Complete Series Blu-Ray Collection ASAP (hopefully on Tuesday) lol.
I can still edit my price, since no one has bided on it yet.
Here is what I'm offering, Apple iPhone 3GS Black (32GB) in Like NEW CONDITION, iOS 4.0.2 Software, perfect screen (absolutely no scratches anywhere on the iPhone 3GS).
Includes original box, headphones and USB cable / wall charger. In Great condition, Belkin Grip Two-Toned Vector Case for smartphone - Black, white Silicone (slight wear to the case)
I was thinking in the area of $150-$225 for a 3 day long bid?
Anyone have any suggestions? I see people buying it for over 400 dollars, so I don't want me missing out since I'm an ebay selling noob.

IPhone :: Apple After Sale Support
May 20, 2010So my iPhone 3GS headphones (with the mic and remote) stopped playing audio out of the right earbud. First I went into the Apple chat on the store page and the lady said that I should be able to set up the replacement online and she then gave me the link.
The page then asked for my serial number, what was broken, what part i needed etc. simply enough really. Anyways of course there was the $29 dollar hold on my credit card until they got the replacement back but that wont be a problem.
What I was surprised about was the fact that they would pay for priority overnight for just headphones. confirmed the request Wednesday 19th 2PM, replacement was delivered Thursday 20th at 11:18am.
Just reinforced how great apple support is in my opinion

Jun 16, 2010Does anyone know any place that is selling an iPhone 4 case already that I can have delivered on or before June 24? I checked zagg.com and they already have a full body protection for the iPhone 4 but it looks like it doesn't cover the metal ring around it. Would like to protect it as soon as I received it. Or does anyone know if ATT or the Apple store will have them stocked with a case and screen protectors?

I have never gotten a domestic US phone and want to get a Samsung Vibrant, but many of the cheaper new or used deals are from individual users with relatively smaller feedback numbers. How would I go about making sure I don't get a stolen phone from one of them? I know Verizon checks ESN numbers for their CDMA phones but I don't know what protections GSM phones have, if they have any at all. Do they check IMEI numbers? I think I remember hearing that custom firmwares will erase the number, so it isn't a good indicator and can be used against me to sell a phone. So for anyone buying domestic used or new phones, any tips on avoiding these situations? And even if I do end up with one, it probably won't brick on me like a CDMA phone would?
