So I found out that you can get your iPhone repaired for liquid damages for £126. Will they try and repair it or just send you a refurbished replacement?
My iphone 4 has been dropped and maincard damaged . I sent it to a local service to check it out because it was out of warranty. So they told me that to send it to authorized service to replace. I sent it to authorized service and they refused replacement because i bought it from other country and also opened by another un authorized iphone service. Yes i made a mistake and gave it another service for repair. Should i throw it to the garbage? I trust apple to help me to recover my iphone at any cost..
Yesterday, I left my iPhone at home yesterday for work. Everything was perfect when I left and got back but I found my iPhone "drowning in its own blood". I then properly disposed it. I then contacted Apple for service but they want me to send it in. I cannot send it in because I disposed it.
i have a iphone 4.it is yet under the warranty coverage.i visited a apple care centre for my non responsive home button.but there i came to know tha my iphone is water damaged.though my phone is in working condition now and it doesn't have any corrections at d dock and headphone jack as shown on the apple site for the liquid damage status, i am not getting iphone repaired for free under the coverage plan.
WHile trying to resolve a no sound from speaker issue I used compressed air on the USB port and when brought to the genius bar was told the phone had been in water because of the LCI .The phone has been nowhere near any moisture but this becomes a moot point with Apple and the LCI.
Recently one of my friend purchased a iphone for me through online. With below link - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875100026 Now when I tried to unlock my Iphone through AT&T they are asking contact apple for more support as its refurbished phone. So could I proceed further on this to unlock.
I've bought a brand new 4s and it turned out to be a defect one, now it's been sent back so that I can get a handset to handset replacement. Now am concerned that this new one which am going to receive might be a refurbished one. I need to check the device, if it is a new one or a refurbished?
I recently purchased this BlackJack from TigerDirect, and was wondering if there is a way to debrand it and then Brand this thing to AT&T with all their apps and stuff? Upgrade firmware?
How can u tell if u have the upgraded tour or the first 1. My first 1 was great but the notification icon always stayed on so finally they switched me out and it just seems different the rep said it was by manufacture date but I have not date to find on mine. I also believe they gave me a refurbished unit I do have the 4.7 unit but the branding component is different any suggestions comments?
I have a water damaged iPhone that I've arranged to return to Apple for replacement at a cost of £126.44. I want to back-up what I can before I do this, but the phone literally only lasts about 60-90 seconds each time I switch it on. I have had a look at iTunes, in the edit->preferences->devices section, and it is showing the following [url] That seems to show a back-up on 9 March 2012, which is fairly recent and I'd be happy with using that to transfer to the refurbished iPhone from Apple. Can someone confirm:-
1. What that back-up actually "backs-up" - i.e. does it back-up everything (contacts/SMS/MMS/Pictures/Videos/Notes/Apps, etc)?
2. If I tried to do a further back-up, will this wipe the back-up from the 9th March 2012, or will I still have the 9th March back-up available to choose to use as a restore when I get the refurbished phone?
My phone was dropped in a bucket of water and i am currently having to send it back to get a replacement, the problem is and as bad luck would have it, i came back from a holiday with my kids the day before it happened and now i have lost all my photos of them from through the week, i am more gutted about that than anything
He rinsed it immediately in fresh water and we now have it in a bag of rice. Is there a way he can retrieve the pictures off of it? We don't think he had synced with iCloud.
My Iphone's upper sound button got damaged somehow, together with the mute button. the low sound button is working though. Speakers are working fine, i can hear reminders, alarms, listen to music. the only thing when i recieve phone calls they are always on mute mode. although if my speaker are on i can hear it from the head set. how to repair it. i took the device to Axiom but instead of repairing it they offer me to pay half of the price of a new device and get another one!
