Password: well thats not gonna help you help me in anyway. These are infos from my win7 computer.
now everytime i try to join it in my X6 it says invalid WPA preshared key. And i know i have and i used the right key for this. What could be the problem. Has this happened before? And in Destination, I tried setting that access point so that it uses WPA2 and also added the preshared key, but when i try to connect in WIFI manager, it asks me for that preshared key again even though I already set it up.

I have linksys wrt54GL router at home, wifi is set to WPA2 Personal + AES. I cannot connect to wifi with e63 phone. I have e72 also and it connects without any problem. Could someone post step by step tutorial?

I just got my Lumia 1520 handy but when I tried to connect it to the local Wifi hotspot (WPA2 encrypted), it times out saying "Connection unsuccessful - No response from the network". I searched the net for solutions and based on those, I restarted the Wifi Router, my Lumia 1520. Also I did a factory reset of the device.
But still, it is unable to connect to Wifi hot spot.I also tried connecting with another Wifi hotspot (WPA2), but nothing good happened. My other devices like Surface, Lumia 1020 are able to connect to the same hotspot without any issues. There is no restrictions on no. of Wifi connection as I am broadcasting the Wifi from my laptop (Windows 8.1 Update 1) as a virtual wifi hotspot.

I am trying to connect to a WPA2 wifi network at one of my company's offices and having no luck. My Droid sees the network SSID and treats it as a WEP secured network, so it only provides me the ability to enter the WEP password and not the whole range of WPA2 credentials. I have tried pulling up all advanced options I can reach from the WiFi screens without finding a way to change this. I have ICS on the phone.

So I recently got my iPhone 3gs to work again which is great but when ever I try to connect to a WPA2-PSK wifi network it will say "Unable to connect" even though I have entered the correct password multiple times.

How to connect to my company's WPA2 Enterprise WiFi. I have tried this multiple times and it never gives me the option of inputting my username and password for my network.
Steps I took: Settings--Wi-Fi--Advanced--hitting the "+" at the bottom of the page--entering the name of my Enterprise network--it asks for my password BUT it never prompts me for my username, which is required to log in.
Before it's asked: I have the latest firmware installed on my phone. This network has allowed multiple iPhones to connect and an old HTC incredible phone.

I've been using Samsung S5620 Monte (S5620 Onix in Spain; S5620 Star 3G in Brazil) for a few days now. It's a nice phone, but I can't get WiFi to work in WPA2-PSK(AES) mode with my DLink DI-524 wireless router. I can get the phone to connect in open, WEP or WPA modes, at home and also in public wireless networks, but there's no way to get it to work in WPA2 mode (which is my protocol of choice).
My wireless router log keeps saying that the phone has associated and then immediately disassociated because “WPA retey failed”. The DI-524 is running with the latest firmware update (hardware code B4, firmware version 2.07). It seems to be a Monte protocol issue, since both my Nokia E71 phone and my Dell Vostro notebook can easily connect to my home wireless network using WPA2. Is anybody facing the same problem? Is there any way to solve it? Does Samsung intend to release a firmware update soon?

I've set up my E75 to use Spotify Mobile over wifi to synchronize music without going over the 3G-net costing lots.But it drops the connection constantly and it seems to coincide pretty much with the powersave functionality of the phone.
-Phone firmware is 201.12.01
-The connection is a WPA2-PSK to a Netgear WGR614
-I have tried various channles but the problem remains.
-I have tried changing to WPA-PSK and Unprotected, but to no good.
-Signalstrength of wireless connection reports around 70-80%.
-If there are no active traffic on connection it seems to stay online but when the traffic start the connection drops.

While adding a WPA/WPA2 access point and trying to setting the EAP-TTLS plugin, the setup window suddenly closes without saving the settings. It is impossible to connect a WPA/WPA2 wireless network that uses EAP-TTLS plugin for authentication/cryptation. All other plugins work fine. The current software version is 40.0.005 (40.0.005.C01.01) - 29-12-2009. It is worth noticing that with the previous sw version (I don't remember the number, maybe something like 31...), all worked well. Once I updated the sw, my WPA access point ceased to work, and I found out the problem.

Does Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic browsing have an issue with WPA2 encryption and MAC filtering? I noticed that my unit browses a lot slower in my N-router with WPA-Personal encryption and MAC filtering as compared to my Wireless G router with WEP security and NO MAC filtering.

I'm a student from Clark University, Worcester, MA I've been trying to connect my phone to Clark WiFi but it seems impossible. The technical department has no clue about Nokia phones.This is what I've been doing:I add a new access point automatically under the name ClarkWiFi.Now when I click WLAN security settings, I don't know what to do.My University has given instructions to set-up WiFi on laptops. My N8 does not connect to websites via wifi, in general, 90 % of the times it does not open any web page, either with the default web browser or Opera. However, the phone connects to the wifi network, and Skype for instance always works via wifi, but normally, you cannot go to any webpage or use other programs needing the internet.Surprisingly,sometimes it does connect (10 % of attempts), while nothing was changed in the router or anything. It does happen with any wifi network.

I have a laptop connected to internet via ADSL USB Modem, there is a wi-fi network created on the laptop that I use to connect another laptop to the internet. When I connect my N96 to that network, everything works great except when trying to access a web site, it says "General: Feature not supported!”Is that kind of connection not supported or what?

I bought my E55 yesterday, and I can't seem to be able to connect it to my home's wifi.It says the pre-shared key is wrong, but I am positive it's correct. I tried re-entering my pre-shared key in my laptop just to make sure I don't remember it wrong and it connected fine, it's just the phone that doesn't connect.My laptop says my network is connecting using WPA/WPA2 to connect so does the phone. The password is totally 11 digits, 9 letters and 2 numbers.

I purchased what I thought was the North American E72 in Topaz Brown, but what I found out from the software later was that it was an E72-1. I cannot seem to connect to the Internet via WLAN. Does this version of the E72 come with Wifi at all?And also, does anyone know whether the Topaz Brown colour comes with an English keypad (North American), without the Chinese symbol strokes on the keys? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do i make N97 mini connect to wi-fi automatically when i'm at home and packet network (3G etc.) when no wi-fi is available? Also how to make it prompt before connecting to packet network, as i get charged for it?
This phone has got a mind of its own at the moment, Facebook widget tries to connect to packet network even when an existing wi-fi connection is extablished (and spotify is using it). I get a beep every time it fails.
In fact ALL widgets try to establish a packet connection when there's no need and i simply cannot change any settings to make this device work sanely.

I'm sharing my internet connection from my Macbook pro, and have been connecting with my old Lumia 800 without problems. Today I took the plunge and bought a 920. On my way home, I connected via wifi to McDonalds without any problems. When I arrived home I tried to connect to my Macbook using the correct password, and the 920 gave me a "wrong password" message.I then changed the password on the Macbook to a 40 bit WEP code - still no joy. I've tried rebooting both the Mac and the 920, switching channels on the Mac wifi channel and am now getting peeved, as my old 800 still connects without fail.Occasionally I get the "wrong password" message, other times I get "Unable to join".
