Can any one guide me how to connect my 701 to PC via WiFi ? mind it that not via Bluetooth,Also can I access the internet connection in PC to mobile via Wi Fi? If possible please do guide me ASAP.As i have laptop with WiFi and my mobile is also Wi fi enabled so logically it should be possible.

But then observed that it is opening only when used with WiFi, but does not open in 2G/3G connection. This is new to me. I was an Android user and use to browse the same news site applications with either wifi or 2G/3G. The news site applications are: Times of India and Ibnlive.

Not even the opera browser. I've tried everyhting. I tried to switch on the cookies and disable security notifications. But they r not working.Currently I'm having BSNL connection.Even i can connect the phone to computer and use it as modem to connect the net. It is also working there. In the opera mini case it says check ur internet settings. I downloaded a new version of opera even it doesn't work it says "the product is not from an authorised supplier. Allow the connection."

View 12 Replies View RelatedMy mobile is Nokia C7 I bought Joikuspot Premium Wifi and installed. For the bigining, it worked well for 2 days and after that I didn't know what happen. When I press the icon of "Joikuspot", It shows the message (in Thai Lanaguge) I will translate to you the meaning that "Software can not use file because of Security Policy" and then return to main menu.
I power off my mobile and tried again to use. The same problem occur.
After that, I tried to use for free version of Joikuspot, for free version can work well but it can't set the security code.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone C3-00 is running on latest update v08.71. I'm unable to upload files on wi-fi. When I start any service like Facebook on opera mini or any browser (I'm also unable to use Mail & Communities via wi-fi) and try to upload file (pic. of max. size 500KB) it shows uploading two times then shows connection failed. I tried it several times but everytime it shows connection failed. But I can easily upload files via GPRS. The Mail & Communities app also runs fine on GPRS but not works on Wi-Fi.

now everytime i try to join it in my X6 it says invalid WPA preshared key. And i know i have and i used the right key for this. What could be the problem. Has this happened before? And in Destination, I tried setting that access point so that it uses WPA2 and also added the preshared key, but when i try to connect in WIFI manager, it asks me for that preshared key again even though I already set it up.
My N8 does not connect to websites via wifi, in general, 90 % of the times it does not open any web page, either with the default web browser or Opera. However, the phone connects to the wifi network, and Skype for instance always works via wifi, but normally, you cannot go to any webpage or use other programs needing the internet.Surprisingly,sometimes it does connect (10 % of attempts), while nothing was changed in the router or anything. It does happen with any wifi network.

I tried re-entering my pre-shared key in my laptop just to make sure I don't remember it wrong and it connected fine, it's just the phone that doesn't connect.My laptop says my network is connecting using WPA/WPA2 to connect so does the phone. The password is totally 11 digits, 9 letters and 2 numbers.

This phone has got a mind of its own at the moment, Facebook widget tries to connect to packet network even when an existing wi-fi connection is extablished (and spotify is using it). I get a beep every time it fails.
In fact ALL widgets try to establish a packet connection when there's no need and i simply cannot change any settings to make this device work sanely.
I'm sharing my internet connection from my Macbook pro, and have been connecting with my old Lumia 800 without problems. Today I took the plunge and bought a 920. On my way home, I connected via wifi to McDonalds without any problems. When I arrived home I tried to connect to my Macbook using the correct password, and the 920 gave me a "wrong password" message.I then changed the password on the Macbook to a 40 bit WEP code - still no joy. I've tried rebooting both the Mac and the 920, switching channels on the Mac wifi channel and am now getting peeved, as my old 800 still connects without fail.Occasionally I get the "wrong password" message, other times I get "Unable to join".
