i installed the new nokia social 1.4.481 from nokia store today....it get installed but i can't log in to any social network...it keep give me error "unable to connect to gateway.try again later".....i tried restart but it still persist.

I am unable to access Facebook/Twitter through Social application on my Nokia N8. I am getting an "Unable to connect to gateway. Please try again" error. I am using GPRS (not WiFi) and I am able to access internet through the browser, download apps from Ovi etc.. I tried changing the priorities in "destination" of the connection setting, tried all combination. Also, I am unable to update the Social application says "Network is not available. This apparently hardwired configuration conflicts with my homenetwork's default gateway.Is there anyway to change this with out rooting the device? I would rather not have to re-IP my home network or not be able to connect to any network via Wifi who uses that IP address as a default gateway.

Not even the opera browser. I've tried everyhting. I tried to switch on the cookies and disable security notifications. But they r not working.Currently I'm having BSNL connection.Even i can connect the phone to computer and use it as modem to connect the net. It is also working there. In the opera mini case it says check ur internet settings. I downloaded a new version of opera even it doesn't work it says "the product is not from an authorised supplier. Allow the connection."

I've added the MAC address of the E63 to my list of attached devices. I've deleted and added the access point so many times and now I'm getting fed up with it. It did with the N96, the only thing that's changed is the phone. In the wlan conn manager it shows as connected but when i start the browser it comes up "no gateway reply". View 4 Replies View RelatedI currently own a Xpressmusic 5530, and I can't surf the web on my college wifi network. I was able to for several months until 2 days ago when the error appeared. Now the college wifi network is a public network and requires a webpage login. Before the error appeared, i would connect to the Wifi and then log in through the webpage perfectly with the wifi.
I already tried resetting to hardware settings, reinstalling the firmware, disenabling/enabling the power saving, and setting up the ip4v address like my wifi on laptop. Nothing worked. This is my first Nokia phone and i'm really disappointed that i can't use my wifi anymore. I didn't change any settings and it just stopped working. I even went to the tech people in my college and the network specialist didn't know what was wrong.
