I have tried to find a way of getting who ever is calling me for the name to display, but it just says CALL, i want the names to be displayed.i have deleted the number from sim and just used the phone memory, used a basic call tone, assinged a photo to the contact and still no luck.Anyone got any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to make an emergency call using my N82. I did not know my exact location so I tried to use GPS while calling. The GPS was not working but there was an error messge like "No GPS signal, you should go outside" or something like that.I was already outside and waited about 10 mins for GPS to get a fix (typically the a-GPS find the location in seconds). It did not get a fix at all and I ended the emergency call. Immediately after that the GPS started to work. So I called to the emergency number (112) once again. But he GPS location was lost when I called and worked again when I ended the call. So it seems that the GPS of the phone is not working while doing an emergency call!
I just wanted to inform everybody that in case of emergency, don't waste your time trying to get a GPS fix while making an emergency call.Anyone knows if this is a known limitation or a bug?

It also does this when clock has alert on.I can turn the screen on with the "unlocking slide" but this in general is extremely annoying and pointless. I was thinking to take it back to repair shop, but wanted to ask about this first here.

The themes are pretty good but I am facing a peculiar problem every time I download and install a theme. After sometime, whenever I unlock the screen, rather than The home screen popping up, The calling screen pops up i.e.. The screen which is displayed when I am on a call. The right and left selection keys show dialer and options respectively and the screen itself is blank instead of The home screen defaults and The widgets...I am facing this problem only with The downloaded themes and not the preinstalled nokia themes.Can someone please help me resolving this problem because its quite annoying?

Since we cannot disable "Reject with message", is there an application, to show me kitkat style answering screen to place slider exactly where it was on kitkat android, so i can use my casing without problems?

After dialing a number the screen goes off immediately. I have press the unlock button several times to get it on. Even when i haven't put it up to ear. The light sensor is working.
