View 5 Replies View RelatedI used to receive notification when I am calling someone who is on another active call. It would either be a long beep after the regular ring or it would actually say "call waiting" on my phone. My Blackberry is 9300..

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone five makes a buzzing noise every time I call someone. My issue is that I am now outside of my one year warranty and so even to talk to them on chat they may charge me £25. I would go into an apple store but nearest one is a two hour drive Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt has been a week now that while I make a phone call my phone keeps calling by itself other numbers from my contact list.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was talking on the phone and all of the sudden I started hearing another conversation. Not like it was in the background but it was so loud I couldn't hear the person on the other line. It seemed as if the lines got crossed.

I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
When making and receiving there is a loud noise like feedback. What is this ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the 5230 Nuron from T-mobile.I have assigned specific ringtones to individuals but I'm not hearing those ringtones when those people call. I'm still just hearing my generic ringtone. Also when I call or receive a call from someone in my address book, it doesn't show that person's name - it just shows their number. Is there a way I can get the designated ringtones to work and a way I can see the name of the person that's calling me instead of just their number?
View 15 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed a crackling noise (like bad reception / interference) when placing calls? I want to say what I notice is when I'm getting the ring back while waiting for someone to pick up is the "only" time I hear it. The audio in calls seems to be ok. It's sounds like a weak signal or interference. As far as I know (though I use my phone more for data than voice).I haven't noticed anything horrible as far as reception/call audio in calls, aside from when calling my mom, but I think that's her (she's famous for leaning on the mic or mumbling and trailing off). I start to think I must be old (I'm not) and losing my hearing (I'm not) but then I just realize it's herI don't know if it's because usually when I make a call I just unlock the screen and make the call and it was trying to re-start any data sleeping modes and such or if it's something else...
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my blackberry bold is now reading all texts and email messages through the speaker. I have my phone on silent or vibrate and they still are read aloud. I installed "you mail" over a year ago and am not sure if it has something to do with that or not,. It just started and I can't figure out how to stop it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't receive a call on my blackberry bold 9780 and talk quitely without putting my phone on speaker, If l don't put the phone on speaker l can't hear the caller it goes dead quite.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry suddenly forbid me to make, receive calls and send, receive sms. I've tried several way to fix this includeing
-batt pull
-batt pull + remove sim card
-update FW .423>.442
-wiped and relode FW (.442)
-resend service book
-re-register host routing table
Then I look at manage connections>Services status and it says, Mobile Voice status: not available connection: not connected. put my sim card into another phone (nokia) it could make, reseive call and sms so it shouldn't be sim card problem. Other services are working fine, BBM, email and facebook.
I had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.

I have had my xperia x10 for just under a week and whenever I make a call the receiver complains of a spitting noise in the background it is intermittent but nevertheless everyone I call complains about it. I do not hear it myself and have upgraded the software. Do I just have a faulty phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the following Problem on my 9810 with OS 7.1 (but it happend with 7.0 as well). As soon as I perform a call, the handset has a calm flickering noise in the background. Every click of this noise is about half (or less) second long. The noise dissapears, if I switch to the loudspeaker, use BT headset or the cable headset.I first thought, that is is a problem with the headphonejack, as the phone for some reason could think, I am still in headphone mode. Therefore I tried to stick the headphonejack in the plug an d twist an turn an bit, in order to get the problem solved. But it did not.
Further I could find out, that the flickereing noise seems to be parallel with the flickering of the proximity sensor, but I am not sure about this. But I think, that maybe the on and of of the proximity sensor produces the noise.Does anyboday have an idea how I can get rif of this, since it is very, very anyoing.
I am getting a tinging echo type noise when I make or receive calls. You can hear everything fine but it keeps making a funny noise during the calls and is very annoying.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this phone two days ago and I've noticed that when I'm in a call on Skype or Hangouts that the incoming audio gets muted every time I speak or when on medium to low volumes. It's become really bothersome because I can't tell whether I'm in call anymore unless the other person speaks. Is there any way to turn this off? The noise suppression and voice clarity options have no affect on this at all. I'm using headphones when in call. Also I should note that this doesn't happen on my old broken phone so it must be something to do with the G4.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy first iphone 4s which I got at the end of March did this from day one. Whilst on a call, a loud shrill tone would cut in and it was so loud I had to take the phone away from my ear; it lasted up to 20 seconds then the call would cut back in again. On the other end, the person I was speaking to wasn't aware of anything, no noise but it went kind of dead for the duration. This problem was intermittent, not on every call, sometimes twice in one call.
I took the phone back to apple who exchanged it straight away for a new handset which was brilliant service. The very first call I made on the new phone-bang, exactly the same thing. I could not believe it. I got to wondering if it may be the brushed steel protective case so I changed that for a plastic one but it still does it. Not as often as the first phone but it still does it. Any ideas what it could be? I am almost embarrassed to go back to apple again but it can't be me can it? The phone is only 2 weeks old!
