View 1 Replies View RelatedEverytime a place or receive a call (mobile homephone) the other end is hearing an echo. If I use headset or speak, the other end listens fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have restarted my iPhone 4S to no avail. Siri does not even pick up my voice. I have tried de activating her and re activating her, but it didn't work. I also screamed at my phone so I am not too quiet. She seems to hear nothing. I have used her before with no Problems.

I have an X3-02 with the 6.00 software update.
During ALL calls people complain to me that they hear their voice echoing all the time. This problem remains whatever I have tried to do (activate/deactivate the Voice Clarity option, with/without handsfree).
I have an issue where everyone I phone from my Z5 Compact complains of a voice echo.
I know this issue existed on previous Xperia phones but can't find any mention of it online in relation to the Z5.
For months I was happily using my Nexus 5 with a SoundID 300 earpiece. Pushing the call button went into a dialer dialog with voice prompts and responses. Suddenly a few weeks ago it started going to the Google Now (aka Google Search?) function (the one you get when you say "OK Google"). Although it will generally recognize the same voice commands as the dialer dialog, there are no voice prompts or responses, so if Google Now has crashed or decides to prompt on screen for "OK or Cancel", I have to get the phone out and look at it to see why it didn't dial.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a 7230 slide phone - does anybody know why I tend to get an echo on calls so whilst I am trying to hear the person on the other end, I can also hear what I have just said, so very annoying
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my photon yesterday night and when talking to others it sound like the phone is hollow and my voice is echoing back through the shell of the phone. I noticed this also after i check the store floor model and seem's the same issue(both were defective?). Callers on other end hear me fine, so it's not there phone or the service.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe voice detection was turned off. I enabled it, said OK Google three times, and it's working. But the search bar on top of every home screen (Nexus 5) no longer has "Say OK Google" in it. I don't mind, but is this an official change?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure but i think my nexus kinda has a very low sound output during voice calls.. I can barely hear anything at full volume in a not so loud environment..
View 3 Replies View RelatedThere used to be a microphone for voice typing in stock keyboard and now its gone.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI was talking on the phone and all of the sudden I started hearing another conversation. Not like it was in the background but it was so loud I couldn't hear the person on the other line. It seemed as if the lines got crossed.

When I have BT activated on the N6P along with Google Maps Nav, the sound output (voice directions) is either:a. When phone is set to BT stream music = sound command is partially cutoff at the beginning - orb. If the radio is on = No sound output is heard at allGoogle Nav is set to output sound via BT under its settings.
This also happened on my OnePlus One. I thought I had read somewhere that this happen because of the BT format that Android sends to the car's audio system is incompatible.
So the "OK Google" voice activation was working from home and Google Now screens this morning when I got the phone. Now the microphone icon changed to this and won't react to my voice input so I have to manually tap the icon to start voice command.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI would like to install & use a "visual voicemail" app on my Nexus 5 (AT&T is my carrier). AT&T's visual voicemail app is available only pre-installed on its (AT&T-sold) phones. There is an AT&T Voicemail Viewer app, but it works only on certain phones.
I want an app that will handle voicemails, convert voice to text , etc. I would use Google Voice, but it appears that GV might be discontinued or maybe rolled into the confusing Hangouts app.
I recently replaced LCD digitizer and I can't hear voice calls unless in speakerphone mode.. Either I messed something up when I put it all back together or something else is wrong...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my phone # associated with Google Voice such that when someone calls my Google Voice number ... it rings my iphone and my landling. I have configured GV (just like a lot of other GV users) to make me press 1 to take the incoming call.Â
This worked wonderfully on my iphone 4s (IOS 7.x). But there is a problem with either iPhone6 or IOS 8.XÂ ... now the problem ...Â
- When I pickup the call on the cell ... GV asks me to press 1 (like it always does). I press 1 ... No acknowledgement. I can hear the DTMF tone but it does not get registered.
- When I pickup the call on my landline ... I am able to press 1 and accept the incoming call.
- My first thought was there is a bug in IOS when the phone is in the locked screen ... but no ... even when I get the call with the phone unlocked ... it will not register any of the DTMF keys
- To test this I added my wife's iPhone 4 (not 4S) running IOS 7.1 to my GV account. I was able to answer the call by pressing 1.Â

View 5 Replies View RelatedI receive calls to my Google Voice Number in Hangouts (I only have a Data Plan/No Cellular Voice Plan). When an incoming call comes in, it uses the default Hangouts Ringer (which I don't like). However, I can't find anywhere to set the ringtone for Incoming Google Voice Calls ringing in Hangouts.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got the 5230 Nuron from T-mobile.I have assigned specific ringtones to individuals but I'm not hearing those ringtones when those people call. I'm still just hearing my generic ringtone. Also when I call or receive a call from someone in my address book, it doesn't show that person's name - it just shows their number. Is there a way I can get the designated ringtones to work and a way I can see the name of the person that's calling me instead of just their number?

View 10 Replies View Relatedafter update to 5.0 (or after reset) is volume during call very low. Although the volume button is on 'maximum' I am not able to hear someone if I am outside. Ofc in quiet room I can hear something. Nexus 5 like this is unusable now.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the volume rocker (I'm on Lollipop) to go down to vibrate, notifications vibrate and make no sound, but if a call comes through, it turns off vibrate and rings with the ring tone.
How do you, in a simple way, make the phone vibrate for calls?
(I actually have an app for profiles and didn't notice this behaviour until a friend asked. I don't want my solution to people to what used to be simple to be "hey, get this profile app I use, spend 10 mins configuring that, and you're good to go!")...
