After dialing a number the screen goes off immediately. I have press the unlock button several times to get it on. Even when i haven't put it up to ear. The light sensor is working.

It also does this when clock has alert on.I can turn the screen on with the "unlocking slide" but this in general is extremely annoying and pointless. I was thinking to take it back to repair shop, but wanted to ask about this first here.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a fault with my iPhone 4s where it randomly crashes and turns off I've uninstalled recent apps to see if they were causing it but hasn't worked, it will randomly do it while using an app or browsing the net, even when recording a video I will get black marks across the screen bit like watching an old film then the whole screen freezes and just fades to black slowly, and only way to turn phone back on is to hold lock and home screen buttons together, but this doesn't always work and I find I have to leave the phone for a few hours worse case has been overnight before it will work again.. what could this be ?

Periodically I go to turn the display on via the power button and the screen is either completely black (powered off) or I only see a blue led light flash in the indicator area. My only way to power on the phone is to pull the battery, replace and power back on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone used to keep a charge for THREE days...it was wonderful! Now since the update, I have to charge it every day even if it's just standby. Plus, if I'm on a call with the screen turned off, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to turn the screen back on in order to answer. Plus, sometimes the phone is so sensitive that when the face is pressed up against it, it goes haywire and cancels out a call. The sensitivity is way too high. I am using Straight Talk as my provider so is there a way, I can remove all the AT&T stuff? And which ones do I not need? I don't like a lot of bloatware on my phone.

I've tried searching for a thread like this but haven't found any.My 9700 just randomly "rebooted" this morning, where the screen goes black and the red led light turns on for a couple of seconds. This has happened to me before on my old 9000, where after it would then start up again. Nearing the time when I replaced it, it would do it quite frequently (and to think it just started getting really bad AFTER the 1 year warranty on it expired!). So back to the 9700, the progress bar that comes up when you're starting up the device would then come up, and sometimes load for about half an inch, sometimes only up to an eighth, before the whole thing would start again - the screen would turn black, the red led turns on, and the progress bar would come up again.I pulling the battery out for a few minutes and putting it back in but its still doing it. I then pulled it out for about an hour and its still doing it again.

My 3 months old iphone 5c screen suddenly turns black with the white Apple logo for a few seconds then returns to normal almost everyday especially while playing game like Dead Trigger 2 or while using the camera and sometimes while browing the web and after disconnected the call. The problem started since last week the screen just shows a sign connect to itune, after several attempts i succeed to restore it. Since then this problem occurred, the first time it happened the screen just black and I tried to switch on the phone but it doesn't not on and when I pressed the home button and the power button then the phone switch on.

The update downloaded and started to install, but after that it goes into recovery mode and ended up failed to update. The phone then reboots to the at&t logo screen, then to a black screen with error messages such as "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped", "Unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped" and "Unfortunately, setting has stopped".... I pressed the power button to see if I can go to emergency mode, but it will give me another one of those error message "Unfortunately, Emergency recovery manger has stopped" or something like that. What can I do to fix this?

It doesnt react anymore until the called one ended the call. Very uncomfortable since you cant end a call yourself of put the speakers on or what ever. I restarted phone, it still appears. View 1 Replies View RelatedOk, this is my problem, I have protective leather casing (I hope thats how you say it on english) and on Kitkat, I could slide/answer with finger without opening casing, it has a hole in it, so now on 5.1.1. we got "Reject with message" and answering slider is moved up.

Since we cannot disable "Reject with message", is there an application, to show me kitkat style answering screen to place slider exactly where it was on kitkat android, so i can use my casing without problems?
