The display for Screen Timeout always keeps turning on and off, Even tho i set it at 15 seconds. I check the setting of my phone and i cant find the root of the problem. I had my 2.1 update and my apps installed weeks ago and was okay. Till yesterday my phone started acting up weird.

My S6 is on 5.0.2 (No 5.1.1 for the international S6 yet) and this happens when there's no charger plugged in and no new notification. No case on it or anything pressing against the power button. Its definitely a software related bug. It happens randomly maybe twice or thrice a day but I've only noticed it in the past 2 days. Its happened almost 10 times so far including thrice in the past 4 hours.
My main concern is screen burn on the Amoled (happened to one of my Lumia's and the huge battery drain if I don't notice that its turned on.
While using my iPhone 5s being on the phone it turns black everytime I touch the screen blinking and won't let me do anything else

My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

Every time I get a text message my screen turns on and off. I don't have this problem with any other notification I get just text messages. The screen just turns on and off in like a seconds time.I dont know if its a setting I might have set or if I have a bad phone.

I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
When I connect my z3 Phone to my tv with mhl- cable the WiFi connection breaks down. Its impossible to me to stream from 4g.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought my new sk17i a few days ago, its 11W42 at the back, build number 4.0.2.A.0.58 running android 2.3.4. Unfortunately the phone is unusable as it keeps either turning itself off, or totally locking up (I'm not sure which). It won't re-awaken using either the on/off switch or the home button. Also the camera performance, my x10 mini camera is far better than the mini pro. but the main issue here is the device sk17i turns itself off.

I've got to try using my phone for work today, old spare being repaired. I can't even hang up a call.
Why this is happening right now but my phone won't charge. When I plug it in the red notification light blinks for a while, then the charging logo appears on the screen for a short time and during that time red is light constantly lid, as it was supposed to, however then the screen goes black again and the light starts blinking.
I found a solution on YouTube which suggested me to tape power button firmly so it's always pushed and then charge it for an hour. I did exactly the same thing, nothing changed.
It's been more than 2 hours and my phone is still charging with the same cycle (blinking red light, then charging logo, then blinking again). I wonder what happened to my phone and what can I do now?
I realized that with using charging dock I can see a glimpse of Xperia and Sony logo but then they vanish. The phone seems to be restarting itself while I use the dock.

1. It charges extremely slow. I have tried different outlets and chargers to see if it can work but it doesn't and it take more than 3 hours to charge to its full capacity. How do I fix this?
2. While the camera is great, the image quality is not the best considering that it has a high mp I would expect more because I have seen images online where the quality is beautiful but when I look at my phone it's not like that.
Furthermore the front cam always has a lot of background noise which makes the images really bad. How do I fix these 2 problems?
3. Whenever I call someone and want to put them on speaker or I want to hangup it takes forever for the screen to light up. I even press the power button to see if it works but it doesn't.
Is there a website to which you can point me to tell me what the icons are all about that appear on my screen from time to time. Latest one ;ooks like a click with a red asterix at about where the 1 would be and has a 2 to the left of the icon. A website to consult would be great.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an LG G3 and every time I am on the lock screen and I cover the sensors (I think it is called the ambient light sensor or proximity I am not sure) the screen turns off, even if I use the physical power button and not double tap to wake. It makes it difficult to use while in an arm band case, also when trying to check it while keeping it inside my back pack since it keeps going off until I take it out and unlock it.

However my wife bought the Atrix2 and she says the screen shuts off on her when the she touches the screen. It is not a timeout setting either. It is REALLY bad when we are laying in bed and she holds the phone and i try to touch the screen...boom screen shuts off! She turns it on and i touch the screen...boom the screen turns off again.
