Ive had this fone like 2months if that I still got the warrenty but jesus **bleep**'s up with this black screen- It went from being perfectly fine to just having the Black screenn and yeah.
View 4 RepliesWhen i plug in my BB 9000 without the battery it has a red led, but when i put the battery in to charge the flash on the camera turns on and the red led turns off the screen is always black and off is there a fix for this? i dont mind deleting everything on this phone.

For example, I can't even get it to change to speaker phone or text someone while calling because the screen just turns off. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a fault with my iPhone 4s where it randomly crashes and turns off I've uninstalled recent apps to see if they were causing it but hasn't worked, it will randomly do it while using an app or browsing the net, even when recording a video I will get black marks across the screen bit like watching an old film then the whole screen freezes and just fades to black slowly, and only way to turn phone back on is to hold lock and home screen buttons together, but this doesn't always work and I find I have to leave the phone for a few hours worse case has been overnight before it will work again.. what could this be ?

There is a constant green light on, the keyboard lights up, I can still answer the phone by guessing where to press on the touch screen, but the screen won't show anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone used to keep a charge for THREE days...it was wonderful! Now since the update, I have to charge it every day even if it's just standby. Plus, if I'm on a call with the screen turned off, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to turn the screen back on in order to answer. Plus, sometimes the phone is so sensitive that when the face is pressed up against it, it goes haywire and cancels out a call. The sensitivity is way too high. I am using Straight Talk as my provider so is there a way, I can remove all the AT&T stuff? And which ones do I not need? I don't like a lot of bloatware on my phone.

I've tried searching for a thread like this but haven't found any.My 9700 just randomly "rebooted" this morning, where the screen goes black and the red led light turns on for a couple of seconds. This has happened to me before on my old 9000, where after it would then start up again. Nearing the time when I replaced it, it would do it quite frequently (and to think it just started getting really bad AFTER the 1 year warranty on it expired!). So back to the 9700, the progress bar that comes up when you're starting up the device would then come up, and sometimes load for about half an inch, sometimes only up to an eighth, before the whole thing would start again - the screen would turn black, the red led turns on, and the progress bar would come up again.I pulling the battery out for a few minutes and putting it back in but its still doing it. I then pulled it out for about an hour and its still doing it again.

It goes back to the regular wallpaper screen. How do I shut it off? It used to shut off when I first bought it, but then quit doing it. The AT&T store cannot shut it off either.

My 3 months old iphone 5c screen suddenly turns black with the white Apple logo for a few seconds then returns to normal almost everyday especially while playing game like Dead Trigger 2 or while using the camera and sometimes while browing the web and after disconnected the call. The problem started since last week the screen just shows a sign connect to itune, after several attempts i succeed to restore it. Since then this problem occurred, the first time it happened the screen just black and I tried to switch on the phone but it doesn't not on and when I pressed the home button and the power button then the phone switch on.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I recently unbricked my AT&T S5 with OC4 Stock Modem and Kernel. Everything was working perfectly fine until I clicked software update. The update downloaded and started to install, but after that it goes into recovery mode and ended up failed to update. The phone then reboots to the at&t logo screen, then to a black screen with error messages such as "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped", "Unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped" and "Unfortunately, setting has stopped".... I pressed the power button to see if I can go to emergency mode, but it will give me another one of those error message "Unfortunately, Emergency recovery manger has stopped" or something like that. What can I do to fix this?

I have a nokia- c6-00 and its screen is black , the phone still turns on and off,when i touch the screen it vibrates, but i can not do anything like text or call because i can't see what im hitting and im not sure that its responding, i tried resetting it by taking out the battery, i managed to update the software without the screen, and i tried the reset codes in the sliding keyboard but nothing worked. is there anyway to fix it myself or do i have to take it to where i bought it?

When I tap on it, the screen goes black for 3 seconds and then nothing - back to the menu.However, when I go through Messages > Folders > Inbox and I long-tap on a message it gives me the option to listen to this SMS, and it works!The problem was solved when the original settings were restored but... it did not last more that a day or two.

I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
My N8's display always turns totally black when there is an incoming call, or even when thealarm rings. Before can see the caller's name and answer the call, I have to disable the screen's "keylock".I tried to find a point in the phone settings wher I can avoid this, but didn't find any.

My Xperia z3+ turns black when I do a call. It doesnt react anymore until the called one ended the call. Very uncomfortable since you cant end a call yourself of put the speakers on or what ever. I restarted phone, it still appears. Sometimes pressing the start button works. 90% it doesnt.

I am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?
I am facing this problem with my Nokia N81 just starting from today. Whenever, I slide it to access the keypad, it's screen turns corrupted with funky lines and random things on the screen. What could be the problem? Could it be the hardware or software?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an LG G3 and every time I am on the lock screen and I cover the sensors (I think it is called the ambient light sensor or proximity I am not sure) the screen turns off, even if I use the physical power button and not double tap to wake. It makes it difficult to use while in an arm band case, also when trying to check it while keeping it inside my back pack since it keeps going off until I take it out and unlock it.

However my wife bought the Atrix2 and she says the screen shuts off on her when the she touches the screen. It is not a timeout setting either. It is REALLY bad when we are laying in bed and she holds the phone and i try to touch the screen...boom screen shuts off! She turns it on and i touch the screen...boom the screen turns off again. Is this some kind of security setting?
