i tried to use the front camera and i suddenly notices that it intermittently flicker until finally it turns black...but when i shift it to the rear camera it seems ok. i dont knw what to do

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.1 with a really strange issue that has persisted even through a full reset. I've found similar threads but I've never found a thread where an issue is throughout the phone such as mine is. At one point I was able to somewhat fix everything but the Camera roll issues but in just a couple of weeks the other problems have all returned. The way I fixed this a few weeks ago was by throwing a hail Mary and deleting Instagram. As soon as I did that, the camera returned to normal even after re-installing it. I removed every Camera app and any apps that use the camera on my phone but this time nothing has fixed the issue. I've also performed a factory reset and restored nothing, re-configuring and installing all software again manually but this issue is still persisting.Â
The first noticeable symptom was my on my camera roll where images would appear like they were black or had some sort of dark filter over them. Many people have had similar issues and there is almost never a resolution on ANY of these threads.As you can see, while the preview is dark, the actual picture is fine. This means it's most likely not anything to do with the hardware side of the camera.Â
Inside the Apple Camera.App the view is also dark, as if there is some sort of dark filter on the camera. But if I apply a filter, the display looks "normal". As you can see below the, on the right with a filter applied the display is as expected. Other camera apps (Instragram, Camera+, MagiCam) have the same issue, but without the ability to set a filter like in the Apple app, the camera remains unusable in those applications.Â
This isn't all though, as we continue down the rabbit hole, the plot thickens. Even displaying photos in full-screen in other apps has that same dark filter look to it:Â This screenshot is taken inside Tweetbot. And as shown below, a similar issue with Music.app displaying Album covers. And while I don't have a screenshot for it off-hand, I've had the same issue watching video in full-screen in the YouTube app.Â
My 3 months old iphone 5c screen suddenly turns black with the white Apple logo for a few seconds then returns to normal almost everyday especially while playing game like Dead Trigger 2 or while using the camera and sometimes while browing the web and after disconnected the call. The problem started since last week the screen just shows a sign connect to itune, after several attempts i succeed to restore it. Since then this problem occurred, the first time it happened the screen just black and I tried to switch on the phone but it doesn't not on and when I pressed the home button and the power button then the phone switch on.

When using my iPhone 4s front camera, the screen sometimes become black or have blue stripes on it! Is this a hardware or software problem? Can this issue be covered by my warranty? Ok, so my phone is doing this thing where when the screen is on it will turn off when I pass my hand over the front camera and will then turn back on when I move my hand away. It does this intermittently and when I power the phone off and then on again it goes away only to return anywhere from a come days to a couple weeks later. I'm running stock on an AT&T G3.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy 1020's FFC has been working fine until yesterday when I tried to use the FFC and it just showed a black screen and you couldn't press any buttons on the screen, I just had to go back to the home screen to do anything else. The regular camera is working fine. Proximity sensor seems to working fine as well. I have done a soft reset with no luck, about to do a hard reset... It's not a huge deal but I do like my phone to be working at 100%!

Then whenever I use the rear camera it gives me only black screen if I tried to take photo it took a while then give me a defect photo that i can't open. It doesn't work for both photos and videos. The front camera works fine. I noticed also that I have an issue with the flash too that when I open it I can't close it except with a restart.

So I just got my Galaxy S6 64GB Black two days ago and I've noticed the screen becoming very contrasty just after boot, then after I lock and unlock the device, the screen returns to normal. It's a bit hard to explain, but when the screen becomes "contrasty", essentially colours close to black, like a dark grey becomes black.
the keyboard's background would actually appear black in the photo, unlike the screenshot. It seems to happen only after booting up, and goes away after locking and unlocking.I'm using an Optus Australia branded device, it has their boot and shutdown animation. I've also tried doing a factory reset, problem persists.
I have a fault with my iPhone 4s where it randomly crashes and turns off I've uninstalled recent apps to see if they were causing it but hasn't worked, it will randomly do it while using an app or browsing the net, even when recording a video I will get black marks across the screen bit like watching an old film then the whole screen freezes and just fades to black slowly, and only way to turn phone back on is to hold lock and home screen buttons together, but this doesn't always work and I find I have to leave the phone for a few hours worse case has been overnight before it will work again.. what could this be ?

My 1020 is about 2 weeks old and at night I'm noticing about 3 areas on the screen that are significantly darker on black backgrounds. It makes the black areas look splotchy and is really only noticeable at night. These aren't dead pixels but what looks to be dark areas on the screen.
