Ok, so my phone is doing this thing where when the screen is on it will turn off when I pass my hand over the front camera and will then turn back on when I move my hand away. It does this intermittently and when I power the phone off and then on again it goes away only to return anywhere from a come days to a couple weeks later. I'm running stock on an AT&T G3.

Screen turning off when blocking the front sensor next to the front camera? I had my G3 for 6 days and I started to notice today that every time my finger hovers over that sensor the screen will turn off.

It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away

View 24 Replies View RelatedMy 1020's FFC has been working fine until yesterday when I tried to use the FFC and it just showed a black screen and you couldn't press any buttons on the screen, I just had to go back to the home screen to do anything else. The regular camera is working fine. Proximity sensor seems to working fine as well. I have done a soft reset with no luck, about to do a hard reset... It's not a huge deal but I do like my phone to be working at 100%!

Over the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result

Showing "Photos in the Camera Roll on "Iphone 4S" cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode." But i have never set up any passocde for my camera roll.

This is a security weakness that permits anybody to use my phone without needing the passcode. Is there a way to require a Passcode to be entered? I can't seem to find it. I found a claim in the iOS 5.1 description that says if you click the Home button from the camera app that "you're intercepted by the Passcode Lock" but I don't find that to be the case.
