And
I've rooted my device and snapchat has stopped my from sign in on this phone , is there any way to sign again without losing root?? (I tried to delete xposed and casper)...
I dont have my phone just yet, but i've played with one recently. and i noticed when trying to compare it with my galaxy s5 that when i was recording video at night there was display lag. What i mean is i'd pan the camera left and the screen was a half second behind it. I've experienced this before with older phones usually from the shutter speed i believe? but when samsung somehow did away with it (at least with my s5) I was unexpectant to see it again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to know if there are any solutions out there to prevent the stock camera from flipping/reversing photos taken with the front facing camera. I know there are alternative camera apps that have the option enabled however I prefer the stock camera app due to its quality and functionality with the 6P...Just wondering if there were any mods, apps, editing tricks or work arounds to prevent android from reversing photos taken with the front facing camera.. Its pretty inconvenient to manually edit and flip them myself.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow to be able to get snapchat working if they are rooted? I've tried the rootcloak xposed modules and snapprefs but still can't get through. So many of my friends use snap chat I don't want to completely avoid it.
I did not have this problem with my rooted Z3c so not totally sure what's wrong.
Ever since I unlocked the bootloader on my nexus 6p and installed a custom ROM, I haven't been able to login to snapchat. It keeps saying "Your login temporary failed. Please try again later". I thought this was a snapchat problem and I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, tried different snapchat app versions, and even reset my password. No luck. I thought my snapchat account was locked, until I used my sister's iPhone and it logged in with no problems. Could this possibly be a snapchat security issue because my nexus 6p is unlocked/rooted?

Later I installed rootcloak and tried to hide root acess to Snapchat, even then I get the same message! How to get snapchat working without unrooting ?
How come if I am in "picture mode" of the camera and then switch to "video" it zooms in. What would normally be in the frame for a picture is cropped so much for video.....
View 5 Replies View RelatedDoes your Nexus 6P have an option to enable video stabilization on camera setting? My friend has the option on his Nexus 6p but mine hasn't. We got exactly same model.

When I move away from the object I can hear the camera ree focus but the buzzing is not loud. The refocusing noise is only loud when I focus on something close.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I'm running Camera Zoom FX on a stock, debloated, rooted rom. It takes pics fine. However when I try to switch to video mode, it says "video switch not supported on this device"

Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
When recording video using the back camera on snapchat the recording is extremely laggy beyond being watchable and the processed video is still laggy and the quality is significantly lower than the display. This is using the standard video quality in the snapchat settings although the lag remains even on lower quality settings. The front facing 'selfie' camera however is fine.
This issue only occurrs using snapchat, recording with the back camera on the default camera app on the htc one is fine so is this an issue on snapchat's part or is something wrong with my camera?
I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.1 with a really strange issue that has persisted even through a full reset. I've found similar threads but I've never found a thread where an issue is throughout the phone such as mine is. At one point I was able to somewhat fix everything but the Camera roll issues but in just a couple of weeks the other problems have all returned. The way I fixed this a few weeks ago was by throwing a hail Mary and deleting Instagram. As soon as I did that, the camera returned to normal even after re-installing it. I removed every Camera app and any apps that use the camera on my phone but this time nothing has fixed the issue. I've also performed a factory reset and restored nothing, re-configuring and installing all software again manually but this issue is still persisting.Â
The first noticeable symptom was my on my camera roll where images would appear like they were black or had some sort of dark filter over them. Many people have had similar issues and there is almost never a resolution on ANY of these threads. As you can see, while the preview is dark, the actual picture is fine. This means it's most likely not anything to do with the hardware side of the camera.Â
Inside the Apple Camera.App the view is also dark, as if there is some sort of dark filter on the camera. But if I apply a filter, the display looks "normal". As you can see below the, on the right with a filter applied the display is as expected. Other camera apps (Instragram, Camera+, MagiCam) have the same issue, but without the ability to set a filter like in the Apple app, the camera remains unusable in those applications.Â
This isn't all though, as we continue down the rabbit hole, the plot thickens. Even displaying photos in full-screen in other apps has that same dark filter look to it:Â This screenshot is taken inside Tweetbot. And as shown below, a similar issue with Music.app displaying Album covers. And while I don't have a screenshot for it off-hand, I've had the same issue watching video in full-screen in the YouTube app.Â
The ladies want me on cam and I always have to say I can't yet ya know?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhy video call are not possible on xperia ray ? All 3G networks include now 3G video call at the same price as classic call. I mean by "video call" real video call, not call using internet network (over WIFI or 3G) that needs special application on both mobile phone (google talk, face time).
Video calls allows to call any mobile phone. These feature was a standard before android. My old Nokia supports it. So why SE android phones doesn't support it whereas Samsung allows it? Moreover, if video call are not supported front camera is useless whereas nearly all old 3G phones can uses video call.
how can we use video call in 3G network with front facing camera of neo L ?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought a SAmsung galaxy S 6 smartphone. While I am recording a video i cannot by any means change the camera to front facing. There is no option no icon only the capture icon on the left (in order to capture in a pic what i am shooting at the moment), the square icon to stop the video and the pause icon on the right corner.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know this may be speculation but this may be the deal breaker for me to get the next phone. I have a child off to college pretty soon who uses skype video regularly with her friends and I will assume with me also. I have actually gotten the skype video to work on my little Nokia N79 fairly well and would like my next phone to also have this capability so I can talk with her when she's away but I am not near my computer.

View 4 Replies View Relatedboth my two Nexus 5s are affected (India - D821 Models) and one of them is pretty bad and consistent with blurry images. Running stock..Tried factory reset, clean install from factory images, cache clearing, third party apps, safe mode to no avail. This is pretty disappointing. Visited the LG service center a couple of times, they advised to change the rear camera cover which I did but the results are the same. I have read changing the camera also has not given any luck, so havent tried that yet..but what surprises me that two devices (similar age circa 24 months) have been affected at the same time, so I am thinking its more an issue with software but not hardware. Or is the hardware failure programmed for 24 months or something..?? I am trying Kitkat on one of the camera's now, so will post the result.
One thing I am certain is that recently the battery for both phones has been changed and I positively think the issue has been noticed afterwards..any clues?
I do tons of hangouts with my family and I noticed that I cant select the front camera anymore, just the rear or no camera. Today I looked into it a little further and now I dont have the front camera option within the camera application. It was there like 2 or 3 days ago. I am on 4.4.2 for about a week now so I am not 100% sure it was that broke the front camera.
View 24 Replies View RelatedSo I cracked my screen, changed it with OEM new parts, and worked great for weeks after the installation. Now, I'm having camera issues, back camera works fine, but when you switch to front facing camera the app freezes and crashes, and I get cant connect to camera black screen, and at this point the back camera wont work either, if you restart and clear data on camera app the back camera works again, but front facing will never work.I;m running stock rooted but I've had this issue with rooted custom roms and stock unrooted. I'm not sure if this is related to the screen change or not, but it worked great for weeks after the screen change. and, I;m having the same issue with other camera apps too, no snap chat installed nor any other apps that could conflict.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOccasionally, when using the slow motion setting the video will record, play back in slow motion, but the fps will not be up to par - as in, it'll be set to 240 fps but will most definitely look choppier and not as smooth as I know it should be. A restart of the phone usually fixes this but there's no way to tell if it's not working until I record a video and play it back. Also, all the sample slo-mo videos online look so crisp and clear, while my videos tend to look pretty noisy, even with decent light.

Able to set up face unlock. Seems to work. Front facing camera works fine as well. However a few days later I try to use front facing camera, it locks up, including trying to change face with face unlock. I turn face unlock off and front facing camera is back again.
I have encountered this multiple times. The sound is coming normally and just goes off without any reason.
The sound comes back if I pause the audio/ video and then replay. However, after 2-3nutes the sound goes back again.
The only solution is to restart the phone and then the sound is OK for around 2-3 days.
1) During listening music on google play music.
2) During watching video on VLC player
This is a default Australian nexus with default rom and all the updates from Google. NOT rooted.
I don't normally do a lot of videos from my phone due to the poor quality, but given that the 6P records in 4K I wanted to try it. I recorded my son's Christmas Musical. Once home I tried playing back via wifi to my TV. I got audio and nothing more. So I thought it was just a connection problem. I then tried on my computer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo when I record a video, there is a noise every time the video auto focuses. I am hoping this is a software issue since I do not hear the same noise in other videos I recorded pre 6.0.1.
First video was recorded in 120fps. And you can hear a ticking sound. Now, I did not record any 120fps before 6.0.1 so not sure if this happened before the update. [URL] .....
Second video, you can hear the sound of the lens focusing. [URL] ....
I set the 6P on a tripod and used it as a camcorder to record an hour-long live performance at 1080p, only to find out after the performance that it stopped at 31:49, or 3.8GB. Is it a limit on the length of time or file size, or both? Is there a workaround? Quite disappointing that I can't use my 6P like a real camcorder.
