IPhone :: : Front Facing Camera Will Work With Skype Video Calling On It?
Jun 15, 2010I know this may be speculation but this may be the deal breaker for me to get the next phone. I have a child off to college pretty soon who uses skype video regularly with her friends and I will assume with me also. I have actually gotten the skype video to work on my little Nokia N79 fairly well and would like my next phone to also have this capability so I can talk with her when she's away but I am not near my computer.

Most of the time it works fine but there are random times it flickers, does this happen to anyone other than me? or my iPhone is defective, Anyone perhaps have an idea what causes this flickering* I facetime and skype video alot, also the iPhone gets warm very close to hot point while using facetime or skype videocalls.

May 23, 2012Why video call are not possible on xperia ray ? All 3G networks include now 3G video call at the same price as classic call. I mean by "video call" real video call, not call using internet network (over WIFI or 3G) that needs special application on both mobile phone (google talk, face time).
Video calls allows to call any mobile phone. These feature was a standard before android. My old Nokia supports it. So why SE android phones doesn't support it whereas Samsung allows it? Moreover, if video call are not supported front camera is useless whereas nearly all old 3G phones can uses video call.

There is no way to delete the history. If you go into phone settings and under privacy turn off access to call history for Messaging+Skype, then app will no longer load/work.

I have an iPhone 3GS with a two year contract set to expire the end of next year, so I can not get an iPhone 4. If I were to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS, is there any way that I could video chat using an external camera or the camera on the back?
