I have a problem with my BB Torch 9800. When I am calling or I am just dialing a phone number my screen is completely off and I cant do anything (browse menu, check the time, check the length of call, etc.).
View 2 RepliesMy touch screen stopped working only when the Torch is slid open. The track pad still works and can use the menu to navigate but what a pain. This started three days ago. Phone is 17 months old. Is this a setting?
View 1 Replies View Relatedsoon as the phone tries to enable wifi calling via the settings it says authentecation error try again. then i click it to try again and it takes me to the self service thing and says it has been enabled and phone immediately reboots but then wifi calling still is not enabled and when i try again the proccess repeats.

There is no ringing noise and when the person answers they can hear me but I can't hear them. A lot of people who are experiencing these problems usually put their phone on speaker to hear it but I can't see my screen so I can't do that.

I am v7.1 which should support WiFi calling. Now, I have seen through many posts that wifi calling is service provider specific and not all service providers even in US would not support wifi calling. I am just wondering if there are any service providers who support WiFi calling in India. I really wish this feature can be used as it would impact me on connectivity.

Fastboot flashed 6.0.1 Radio, System, Vendor, rebooted to TWRP 2.7.82, flashed modified SuperSU 2.61 systemless.
Everything works fine. Band 12 works fine. WiFi calling is enabled, turned on, and set to preferred.
Phone status reads IWLAN and network disconnected. WiFi data works.
When I slide my BB Torch 9800 screen its display doesn't work properly. Green colours appear on the screen making visibility very poor. The screen however work fine when it is closed

My momīs Blackberry Torch 9800 (Carrier is Claro Brasil and the OS is updated to 6.0 Bundle 2647) isnīt working properly. Sometimes the touch screen doesnīt work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesnīt work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. I tried to downgrade and then upgrade the software using the desktop manager but this didnīt fix the problem and even after pulling the battery several times the problem remains.

I installed skype and when trying to make International Voice calls, all I see the blue backgroud with Skype call outgoing icon and then nothing happens. Sometimes, the call gets active as in it shows the seconds counter of the call,but nobody can here anything on either side of the call. I do have some credit balance in my Skype account.
I tried re-installing the app but to no avail.
Previously, I had an Android device and when I tried to make same International mobile calls now in it, I am able to connect and talk without any issues. I also chatted with an Skype support team and they also couldn't get much. They said that I am reporting such type of issue for first time and told that one of their tech specialist will get in touch with me once they have completely assessed the issue.
We are facing the problem from the Audio speaker and earpiece not working while calling. I need to removed the battery and put it again so i can used it again for calling. And after few hours aim facing again that problem( audio). My phone 9900 running with the version.

Sometimes it works but most of the times it does not. Also the track pad does not always work properly after the upgrade. Yesterday nothing worked and I had to soft reset the device before considering throwing it to the swimming poolThe unfortunate thing is that I do not remember what type of upgrade I made but it took 2-3 hours to complete.Last but not least after this upgrade my battery dies in less than half a day. I bought a new one and the same thing happens.
