I'm having problems with my Blackberry Torch 9800. I try to call people but my screen then goes black and I can't hear anything. There is no ringing noise and when the person answers they can hear me but I can't hear them. A lot of people who are experiencing these problems usually put their phone on speaker to hear it but I can't see my screen so I can't do that.
When calling with Skype the called party can see and hear me perfectly but I can neither hear nor see them. Normal calls with the 4S work just fine. I tried activating the Skype test call and it connected just fine but I was unavble to hear anything.

I have an iPhone 4 and over the last few days I can't hear anyone when they call me or when I call them, however they can hear me. I have been using skype to call people on the phone via 3g and that works fine. It started as crackling and static on the line initally but now there is no sound at all. I've tried cleaing out the charger port and headphones jack, checked all volumes, restarted the phone and changed sim card but still to no avail.
My brother has put a jack into the headphone jack outlet and im not sure what happend, but after he did that,my speaker stopped working and headphones wont work either. When i call someone they can here me but i cant here them, then when i hang up,my screen goes white, then restarts. Im not sure if he has blown the speaker or punctured through something after he put in the jack.
I really love this phone, I got it like 3 months ago. Everything was fine, but since today I can't hear the persons calling from my main speaker ( the one on top of the Nokia logo ) while they can hear me. the big speaker works but then the mic doesn't !My phone didn't fall or anything... I tried the instructions on Nokia.com , I used the Nokia software recovery tool they recommend, but still nothing. Now I can only speak with the head set and it's not comfortable.the phone runs the latest update ( maybe the problem comes from an update that came during the night, since its automatic) . And I think this is software related, but you are the experts .
l recently changed my sim forva giffgaff one and everything works fine except when i call people i cant hear them and i cant hear the ringing sound at the start of the call. i can hear them if iput my phone onto speaker phone but this isnt very practical.

My S.E. W302. You see, two days ago, I called a friend of my, but I couldn't hear what he was saying... :/ He could hear me though.... I tried to reset my mobile phone.
I just bought a new Lumia 950 XL two days ago, and I'm having this weird issue. When someone calls me or whenever I call someone, I can't hear what he's saying, while they can hear what I say. And it's not just me. My friend is having the same issue on his Lumia 950 XL.
I have a Bold 9900. Of late, I have had a problem wherein I am unable to hear the phone's ring. The phone vibrates and I can see a call coming in. When I answer the call, I cant hear the person at the other end of the line, nor can the other person hear me. If I try ringing someone, I cant hear their phone ringing, but I get the message that we are connected, but cant have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart, its all back to normal.

Lately when placing and receiving calls I cannot hear anything put dead air. No ring tone when calling out, or the voice of the caller when accepting a new call. To fix the issue I have pulled the battery. However, a few hours later the issue will start again.
I went into setting and changes the hearing volume to 100% but I still can't hear very well. I don't have hearing problems or anything; all of my friends have said the same thing after they used my phone for a call. How do you make the volume bigger when calling someone?
I have a problem with my BB Torch 9800. When I am calling or I am just dialing a phone number my screen is completely off and I cant do anything (browse menu, check the time, check the length of call, etc.).
I live in a place where mobile signal (service provider) are hard to reach but the fortunate part is I have a wifi connectivity available. I am v7.1 which should support WiFi calling. Now, I have seen through many posts that wifi calling is service provider specific and not all service providers even in US would not support wifi calling. I am just wondering if there are any service providers who support WiFi calling in India. I really wish this feature can be used as it would impact me on connectivity.
When I receive a call as all of you know , Blackberry OS tells you when was your last call from the caller . in TORCH this appear in the middle of the contact name that calling me . what to do?
I have a blackberry phn you can see incoming calls on the screen but you can't hear a ringtone. Every time I go to ringer profile theres a box that comes up that states that the tone I selected is invalid.
I cant sync, respond to texts, receive emails, just about anything but make phone calls. Is this due to the blackberry problem I've been hearing about?
I can receive incoming calls and the person on the other end can hear me but i can't hear them unless i have them on speakerphone or have the headphones plugged in. it was working fine earlier but has stopped.
I just recently am unable to hear callers via the earpiece, but i am able to hear callers via the speakerphone and also music via the bb media player though.
recently, on phone calls i cannot hear anything. it doesn't ring and i can't hear the person but they can hear me. the volume works on all other applications except the phone calls. it also works on speaker or with headphones in
My torch is too quiet for me to hear. Ringtone speaker volume is cranked all the way up. Yet I am still not able to hear the ringtone.I noticed that the alarmclock is way louder. When comparing with HTC desire my Torch volume is at least 4-5 dB less. That is a big difference. I consider this a design error, as too loud a ringtone could easily bee prevented by a reasonable default setting and avoided by user adjustment.
