Nokia :: 5530 Wlan Router Security Key Doesn’t Ask Key

I am using Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Phone for some months. The problem started a month ago when I tried to connect to my WLAN router. There is a security key on my router but when I connect through my Nokia Phone, it doesn't ask for any key (with my Laptop, I can connect to the WLAN with the preshared key). It simply connects to the router without they key and when I start browsing, it says "No Gateway Reply". Thinking this might be the settings problem I soft reset my phone but still the problem remains. The point is, it only does this with my own router. Anyone know how to sort this out?
I bought my mom a E63. When I se it up, everything worked perfectly. It would find my router at home and conect to it, it would find wireless hotspots everywhere and connect to them etc... Now, all of the sudden, it will not find anything anymore. Even if I am standing in front of my router, it will say "No WLAN network found".
I just updated her phone to the newest firmware and reset everything to factory defaults, and the phone still refuses to find any WLAN's. I went into the menu and made sure that it does show WLAN availability etc...
I recently bought the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and tried to connect to the internet via my Linksys ADSL wireless router. As i have added MAC Filtering to keep wireless network safe, i tried to add my 5800's MAC in the filter list. but when i tried to save the settings an error message popped up saying "The MAC address cannot be the Multipart Address.".Any thoughts on what that means? or what should i do?The connection works fine if i dont apply the MAC filtering. It is might be some problem at router end.
Yesterday when i bought the phone at the mall I was able to briefly connect to a wifi spot using nokia 5530 .But when I got home I couldnt connect to my router which also has wireless capabilities , now when I search for network throught the phone I cant see my router ! Im beggining to think this is because I use PPPOE that I also connect my pc to internet ? what should I do to get wireless to my phone too I dont see an option on the phone that asks for PPPOE username and password ,how do I get this ressolved ?
I have this inconvenience with my wi-fi on my mobile. I just got it brand new the other day and have been happy with it. But it seems my wi-fi is always connected with my home router, even if i disconnect it, it reconnects a minute later. Please could someone post a solution, i've been trying to find this all over the net.
when I want to connect to a wlan it says that a connection is already active and i need to close it to connect but no connection is active.I hard reseted it and putted the new software on but still the same problem,can you put a smile on my face?
I have just bought a Nokia 5530. I wish to use it to connect using the WLAN to BTOpenzone WLAN and the connect to the internet. While I can connect to BTOpenzone I am unable to connect to the internet and hence to the BTOpenzone log in web page.A blank screen appears with Javascript Probe written at the top a the screen.My question is can the 5530 connect to the internet via btopenzone? If yes, does any one know what I have to do to be able to do this?
Ok so here is the deal, I'm using up-to-date(v. 20.0.080) nokia 5530 and today while I was using TuneWiki my WLAN got disconnected. So I tried to reconnect and found my wifi option completely gone. Now I can't even try to connect to WLAN, as if wifi option was disabled or erased. I already tried restarting the phone, resetting phone to original settings, removing battery for a while. I don't know what to do, so if someone dealt with similar problem please help or at least advice me what should I do next.
A few weeks ago, I had a problem with WLAN on my phone Nokia E71; I was using the application ESET Mobile Security, and when i delete this application, the WLAN don´t work. Now, I reinstalled this application and WLAN is working fine. I recommend be carefull with this antivirus.
I forgot my security code. Does anyone have any idea how I can recover it? I need to recover that to solve my second problem...I can't do any resets on my phone if I do not have my lock code
I recently got a wireless Router and now have my own wireless network in my home. I searched for it on my N97, it found it, I added it to it's known access points and set it to connect automatically whenever needed. Here's the problem: it does connect automatically, but it only works for like 30 seconds. After that, it doesn't get disconnectted, but it doesn't work anymore either. It simply downloads no more data. The website doesn't finish loading, or if I try to acces another site, it doesn't load at all (Opera Mini gets stuck on connected). I tried to disconnect and reconnect to the network manually, and that works, but only for another 30 seconds, then the same thing happens. I tried this with the N97 integratet browser and Opera Mini, with the same results.
Mind you that I'm using the same wireless network on my laptop and it works with no problems. Also, note that I did use other WLAN networks with the N97 and they as well work with no problems. It's just my home metwork the phone seems to have issue with, and I'd like to know why, and how (if possible) i can fix this.
I bought my E72 device two months ago. I also have an access point in my home unfortunately I can't connect with it properly. My AP uses static IP address, and it is setup correct also the phone, but when I want to connect to internet by native browser, system shows error(translated to English) "invalid server name", it shows in others applications too but there was different errors names depending on application. I can only get access to my router, access point and devices connected to internal network(behind router like PC's, laptops or others), in public places like schools or government institutions I don't have troubles with connecting to internet. Error is occurred only in my and some of my friends private networks. I am sure that's my phone is setup correct, because in this same configuration laptop is working. Why I can't connect with external network?
my sons nokia 5530 has just been in for repair as it kept switching off soon as a call was answered (received phone back thurs 15th july ) all seems to be working fine now until he noticed today the auto rotate doesn't work i've checked the settings and the box has been checked also removed the battery for a while to see if it kicks it into touch can anyone shed some light as to why this might be happening before i take the phone back into shop, its not a massive issue but it is a function he likes to use.
And im trying to connect via WLAN to my home broadband, which is a Linksys one. I can scan for all the WLAN networks and i can find my network, but when i connect and put in the WEP key it doesn't connect! It says WLAN: Unable to Connect.... there was this one time i managed to connect for a while but then it said No response from gateway..
It doesnt work...... I assign a pic of the contact and a tone but when they ring me the pic shows but the tone is set to a default which is the nokia original tone and not even a tone ive chosen, ive updated the software and its still the same.

when i turn on my Nokia 5530 XM i get an eror : "Home screen: function doesn't work on this device" . What's the reason of this error and maybe i could fix it on my own?
i changed my modem router yesterday, did all the settings. all my devises can join my wi-fi but my iphone 5s cant. it recognizes the network, tries to join it, but cant join it.
Turned my iphone on and off two times, Turned my router on and off several times, reset my network setting on the iphone, changed the channel on the router twice, pressed "forget this network" and tried to connect manually.
When I'm pressing Available WLANs, its only showing me "No networks available" (it looks like its not even trying to find nearby AP) My router have a WPA/WPA2-PSK security, its on channel 9 right now. Nokia X3-02 RM-639 V 06.05
By a sudden, the mobile stopped browsing with my home WLAN. For 1 day back it was working perfectly. I could not get any support from nokia website, so can someone helps me to solve this issue.I'm effective browser with WLAN to save money from using telecom mobile.
My BB Pearl 8120 picks up wi-fi fine, but I have just replaced my home router and it doesn't recognize it when I scan for networks, All other wireless devices in the house (TV, laptop, I-Pad, son's phone) connect no problem.
I don t remember the security questions of my ID account.... I know they can be changed sending the reset info to my "rescue email account" but the problem is that the "rescue email account" that i have assigned doesn t exist anymore and i can t find a way to change it to a different one...
My 5800 xm will not connect to the internet via my netgear dg834gt router.The phone connects to the wifi connection but it will not load up a web page.It will work via 3g.I've been through the routers settings and the phones mac address is there and is set for access the same as my pc (which is working fine).
I have a Nokia N95 and i got problem with wifi networks. I can join and surf on the internet, when im in unsecured router, but mine router is WPA and settings in N95 should be right. It is saying that I entered invalid router password or something like that.
So I picked up my brand new X6 today, and it's a really great phone. However what I notice is that for certain apps like the ovi store or maps, I cannot choose a connection which it should go through, and it always connects through my operator's network instead of my WLAN which is in range...How can I change connection behavious for these (and other) applications? I already set my connection order to Wlan first and then the operator connection, which works fine for ebuddy to give an example...so what's wrong with the other stuff?
