Aug 19, 2010I would like the memo's or meetings to be displayed on the phone on the day they occur. I had this on my 6110 and I am used to having it. Is this possible?

Nokia 5230 :: Synchronization Contacts And Calender With Ovi Suite?
Apr 24, 2010I have a Nokia 5230 with software version 20.0.005 and I am running Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1 on Vista 64 bit.I connect either by bluetooth or USB. With this it is possible to synchronize messages, music and pictures. However, when synchronizing the calender or contacts with bluetooth Ovi Suite simply crashes.When synchronizing with the USB cable it gives either the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync contacts. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. Then sync again. Error code: 80043c93" When synchronizing the calender it gives the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync calender items and tasks. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. Then sync again."I have configered Ovi Suite to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook.Do you have any solution to this problem.

May 15, 2010I've just got a 5230 and transferred some photos onto it from my PC. If I try to use any of these photos for wallpaper the image is shown too large for the screen so you lose some of it. Can anyone let me know please how I can get these photos to display properly, like the ones I have taken using the phone?

Jul 24, 2010Just about every one of the 6+ Billion telephones on the planet displays letters on the number keys, ie. ABC on #2, DEF on #3, and so on.Why is it that Nokia cannot see fit do do the same on the 5230 dial pad?
It can't be that the 'real estate is too small - LG manages to do it just fine on the Xenon GR500FD phone with smaller on-screen buttons.The lack of letters on the dialpad makes it extremely difficult to interact with IVR systems where you need to be able to dial by 'last name'think calling a large company or hospital when you don't know the person's extension.Has anyone found a way to mod the 5230 dialpad to display letters & numbers on it?

Aug 2, 2015When I accept meeting invitations through my email and it adds it to my google calendar, my phone displays the notes section on a single line. Making it nearly impossible to scroll over and read. I can't modify the calendar event at all, and I have to open up the web browser or original email (by searching through my emails) to view the notes within the original spacing/formatting.
Only calendar events that I make myself will have the proper notes section spaced out. Please see attached photos for my examples:
Here is an event this is nearly a page full of notes, but it only displays on a single line that I have to scroll left to right on.
Here is an event I created and the notes section is as big as my notes:

Nokia :: E72 / Calender Reminder Silent
Mar 11, 2010I have an E72 and love it. Just a question, I regularly sync my calender using the Nokia PC Suite and it works well. I silenced a reminder using the "silent" button and now some reminders are silent. The phone's display flashes but no audible alert. I've checked the profile and it defiantly has a setting enabled for an audible reminder. Any ideas?The alarms are perfect.

Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

Because I don't need/use it I want to remove it but every time I do it just installs itself and shows me the welcome wizard of that program. I removed it using the app manager. Mar 16, 2010I bought the Nokia E72 to have a good phone for business and work. Since 1 week my Lotus Notes calendar could not be synchronized any more. PC Suite issues a lot of warnings (item xyz cannot be inserted on the phone's calendar) but these messages are not useful. So I de-installed PC Suite and installed the Ovi Suite, but what is this? I cannot see how to synchronize my Lotus Notes calendar?! The menu items says that Microsoft Outlook is supposed to be installed, but sorry, this is not my company's organizer system.So please tell me how to synchronize my company's calendar with my E72 via the OVI suite because this is a crucial feature.
