I have an E72 and love it. Just a question, I regularly sync my calender using the Nokia PC Suite and it works well. I silenced a reminder using the "silent" button and now some reminders are silent. The phone's display flashes but no audible alert. I've checked the profile and it defiantly has a setting enabled for an audible reminder. Any ideas?The alarms are perfect.

If the day selected has entries when in calendar view, we have a list of them on the bottom of the screen. If you point at the entry sometimes a shortcut menu is opened sometimes we are directed to the entry view.

I have a Nokia 5230 with software version 20.0.005 and I am running Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1 on Vista 64 bit.I connect either by bluetooth or USB. With this it is possible to synchronize messages, music and pictures. However, when synchronizing the calender or contacts with bluetooth Ovi Suite simply crashes.When synchronizing with the USB cable it gives either the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync contacts. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. Then sync again. Error code: 80043c93" When synchronizing the calender it gives the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync calender items and tasks. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. Then sync again."I have configered Ovi Suite to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook.Do you have any solution to this problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I have a calendar reminder pop up and my key lock is on, the phone doesn't allow me to either stop or snooze the alarm.I can understand that, but what I can't understand is that I cannot remove the key lock. When I move the slider at the side the key lock doesn't come off.As a consequence of this the reminder keeps going off every 5 minutes unless I have got the key lock off before this happens.

Its driving me nuts can I switch that off?
Inconsistently and specifically with recurring Exchange/Outlook reminders, they will work for a while and then stop working. I can't seem to find a pattern.
View 18 Replies View RelatedOn main page in Active Standby, it shows all To-Dos as pending including those from future as well, like it will say 10 pending tasks while actually 2 are pending while 8 are still from some future date. This was not an issue with my earlier 6120.
To-Do alarm rings only once. Any time I miss a To-Do alarm there is no way that it reminds me again that I missed it until I check my Calender. There should be something like repeatedly ringing every 5 minutes till we respond.
On my 6500 slide (2 years old), my Outlook meeting reminders only produced a short beep and then it was silent again. On my new 6700, it keeps beeping until I cancel it.
Does anyone know how to tell it to only beep once?
I need to appoint business which should proceed in a current of several days in calendar E7. I want to receive reminders each three hours while business will not come to the end. If I press the button to repeat during the next reminder, phone repeats a reminder in 5 minutes. How to make, that the repeated reminder has occurred in 3 hours?

But when I click on this entry, I get the message "Calendar: Memory full. Please close some applications and try again." This happens even when the phone is just restarted. View 5 Replies View RelatedA few months ago on my 3G, I tried switching my silent switch over and it wouldn't stay silent. The switch does go fully to the left side, but it doesn't do the typical vibrate and show the silent graphic on the phone. BUT if I ever so slightly nudge it to the left it does go to silent but there is no way to keep it in place.
It is almost as if there is something in the way or maybe there is a short?My warranty is no longer valid, but the phone is in perfect condition, has been cased. It makes no sense.
Anybody have any advice, because I would like to sell the phone soon but obviously do not want to sell it without the silent working. Ok, so I'm trying to work out how the silent modes work on my Z3. I'm failing.
So it seems you can press the volume key and by clicking the 'bell' icon I can scroll through 3 different modes: Loud, Vibrate and Silent.
Seems simple enough, only none of these modes silence apps or games at all.
I just want to put my phone on silence/vibrate and know that even apps and games will be silent too.
I thought I could put into vibrate mode and slide the media volume down to zero and it would rememeber it... then putting back into loud mode would make media slider go back to normal volume?... Nope, I have to change it back to loud mode and remember to slide the media volume back to normal...
I set my iPhone 4s on silent every day for work. In the last few days any text messages and phone calls have been playing out loud. I've only had the phone two months. It also randomly vibrates for no apparent reason sometimes repeatedly.

I have an E52 here with latest firmware, version 034.001. Pressing and holding the # key to switch between general and silent mode does not work. Instead, it does show a second # and, after a while, asks if one wants to change the phone line. Pressing and holding the * key does indeed activate bluetooth.

I cannot find anywhere what this notification refers to. The phone is excellent, but the user's manual leaves much to be desired for completeness. It happens whether I use a blue-toothed mpeg file or one of Nokia's pre-loaded ring tones. Service provider where we purchased the phone cannot find the problem.
