Motorola XPRT has stalled in the download of the update to Gingerbread. I set it to download in the first evening it was available, it got to 6% or so and seemed to stall out.When I go to the update firmware function it tells me that the update is currently downloading.How to Stop it downloading ?

Is there a way to adjust/add to the auto-correct dictionary for the physical keyboard of the XPRT? On my SOLD BB9650, this was done the first time I picked up the phone. Now, I can't. This phone (while waiting for Gingerbread), would be THE BEST, if it could fix this little problem...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a completely stock Moto XPRT running 4.1.15.MB612. When I select to check for updates, it says 4.1.110.MB612 is available so I click to download. I'm on wifi so thankfully it's not too slow. The phone reboots, shows the Android guy doing his thing then quickly boots back in to Android before eventually popping up with the error "failed to update". So I lurked the forums and see to hold the @ symbol down when in recovery and do so, here's what pops up.

View 15 Replies View RelatedCurrently I'm living in the Netherlands and I own a Motorola XPRT that I bought at Sprint in the US.I'm trying to update my phone to 4.1.110.en.US, the firmware does download, asks me to install.I accept offcourse, the phone reboots, tries to flash new firmware, suddently stops and reboots again and after the phone is fully booted there is a message displayed that says that the update has failed.I already did a factory reset and a hard reset.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems with my (non-rooted) Sprint Motorola XPRT failing to update. After I download and attempt to install the update, the phone reboots, I get the installation screen, the yellow bar proceeds approximately 20%. Then I get the screen with a triangle/exclaimation symbol, which flashes on the screen for less than one second -- giving me no chance to press "@" to obtain a reason for why it cannot update. The phone then reboots, and gives me a message saying that the update has failed.I have also tried to update my phone after a hard reset two different ways, including (a) via the menu > privacy > etc, and (b) via the 'hold R and M' keys methods. Today I brought my phone in to the Sprint store, and the tech support employee also attempted a "more low level reset" which he called the "##RTN" (or something like), and even after doing this the update still failed.
The Sprint store tech support employee then searched an internal support forum, and he told me that some, but not all, Sprint Motorola XPRT users have been reporting a similar issue with the update. He said "it looks like Motorola is aware of the problem and is working on it". This update was current as of Nov 2. Because this is an issue that Motorola is currently working on, he said he could not swap out my phone (i.e., pay $35 for a replacement) and that I need to wait until the Motorola fix.
What are the plans for future software updates for XPRT?Is Gingerbread going to be the last one? Any chance for 4.x?Because, see, as of today XPRT is lagging behind for like a year on Android updates.It was released (June 6, 2011) with outdated FroYo (released May 20, 2010).Now, if stars align, we'll get GB 2.3.5 update (released July 25, 2011) hopefully in August '12.And that also means that phone that's been out only for a year is already 2 major Android versions behind current one.

Now, i am having freezing screen issues. the screen just stops responding to the touch. for example, yesterday someone called me, i saw them calling, it was ringing, i tried to slide the green button to answer but nothing happened. it was frozen/stuck. this has happened 2 times now. not just when someone calls but just in general when i am trying to unlock my phone. when i tried unlocking my phone, nothing happened. i pressed the power button to wake up the phone but nothing. it was just a black screen. finally i held down the power button and it eventually turned off and powered back on.

When I open an email, click reply, the device opens a reply email (like it's supposed to), but then the screen flashes, and reverts back to the original email, and also puts a blank draft email in the draft folder. This is happening with my Activesynch account. My Gmail account works fine.

I'm at the restore stage and now it's stalled with a message saying "Device Encryption is Turned On. Your Blackberry Device is currently locked. To continue unlock your device". If i click Update All or single app update button or new apps Download buttons nothing happen only display "Downloading" progress bar, then i wait more than 30 minutes so not download and update. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy LG G3 is a great phone, I've had it for two months (almost) with no problems... But this is the second time that, when it's plugged in and "says" it's charging, it stalls at X percentage (last time was 33%; now it's stalled at 27%). I've tried switching outlets; and while it worked last time, it's not working this time. Needless to say, I am panicked. This phone is brand new and shouldn't be doing this. Is it possible that it could be the charger? The port hasn't been messed with, no new apps have been installed, I haven't even dropped the phone yet.
Update: It is now charging from an outlet that "didn't work" the other day. I am starting to hypothesize that it's the charger that is the culprit.
I'm synching my iPhone and the synch has stalled at "synching calendars (step 3 of 8)". This is holding up any additional items being synched.

I plugged my iPhone into my laptop to do a simple update of my playlist, but a message flagged up saying I had to retore and download the new iOS 5.1 update before carrying on (I know i've left the update late, just havent had the time!) My phone was restarted and all my contacts revived but whenever I try and download all my new and old music, it just wont let me? So I am a total noob here, I purchased my XOOM 3 days ago and already I am totally frustrated and annoyed with Motorola and there customer service, or the lack there of. It's beyond me how a 6Sigma company who holds their suppliers to such strict standards can have so little regard for their customers and their level of satisfaction.With that off my chest, I wonder if any of you bright individuals can help me out. As I said I purchased my Xoom 3 days ago and after unpacking it I wanted to put my SD card in to retrieve some pictures and other files from my old tablet. I found the slot and removed the plastic piece and saw there was something written in it. It said "Replace with Micro SD only after Android system update". I thought that was odd but went ahead and started the update to 3.1. Well it has been downloading ever since and is now at a whopping 3%.
My Wi-Fi connection appears good and fast, I can download apps from the market in seconds and the web is quick.I started a service call regarding this; you can probably guess how that is going, even though they say, once you jump through all the hoops, that you will receive a reply within one business day. Apparently I am unfamiliar with what constitutes a 'business day'.

FOR A WEEK MY PHONE WAS DOING FINE AND THEN WHEN I USE THE 3G MOBILE HOTSPOT I KEEP MY PHONE PLUGGED IN AND THE BATTERY SAYS IT IS CHARGING BUT IT IS DOING THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE AND GOING DEAD.
