While navigating the Motoactv Site, I frequently see (often several times per session) "An internal error has occurred. " Sometimes the refresh button fixes it, but often I have to log out and back in, which is a pain when it happens several times in a browser session. Screenshot attached. I am on IE 9 both 32-bit and 64-bit.
View 4 RepliesI have been logging into the MotoACTV site for for abput two months now. The very first time that I tried to login several months ago I received the Error Message: "An Internal Error has Occurred. Please Log Out and Log In again." I have rteceived the same message intermittenlty since then and also today. This seems to me a problem with the servers not adequate to the demand and should be relatively easy to remedy. i use a variety to fitness sites -- Strava, Edomondo, Garmin Connect, Training Peaks -- and have never received a simmiliar message. I think Motorola should get a handle on this problem.

However, when I go to the "Goals" section, the cummulative goal I set (20 miles per week) shows I've run 40.85 of 20 miles, completing 204% of my goal to run 20 miles every 7 days.

If it's not using the foot pod, can it be setup?Also, if I wear my HRM throughout the day, will I need to start a workout to record my heart rate whilst doing everyday activities?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the time I purchased my iPhone 5s, I have been facing this problem with Wi-fi. The first two times I went to the customer service, I was told it could be a problem with my modem. Even I thought my modem is the problem, but my andriod mobile does not give any issues as such. The problems I am facing with the Wi-fi is listed below.Â
1. Wifi shows connected, but actually it is not connected. I have too reset my network connections to use the internet. Even then, after some time it stops working.
2. After resetting my network, it works fine for some time, then it disconnects automatically.
3. The wifi speed is very slow compared to my low end andriod phone also.
4. Because of this, I cannot use apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, iPhone AppStore properly. I need to renew lease or rest my network.Â
I have been to the AASP (Imagine, Forum Mall, Bangalore) three times now and everytime they tell is the problem has been rectified reinstalling the software and tested using multiple wifi networks. All they do is reinstall the software and reset the network. It works fine for a day or two. Then the problem starts again.Â
Is there a software to identify if the Wi-fi is connected or not (Other then the icon on the home screen). I want to monitor when it drops, so that I can actually report this the customer service, so that they rectify the problem. Reinstalling the OS is not the solution for this, which solves the problem only for a short period of time.

Is there a good resource that shows an updated feature list of the Motoactv. I can get the the manual etc but can't seem to find a place that shows in detial all the changes due to the updates / current features. It's difficult to compare with other products without detailed info on this.

I just finished installing CM13 on my Nexus 6P, but realised I'd downloaded the wrong GApps, so booted up into CM13 (Worked fine) and then downloaded the newest GApps into internal storage (Which was NOT empty when I connected over USB to my PC) yet when I went to flash the new GApps, TWRP tells me that I have nothing in my internal storage folder. I'm confused as to how that could happen.

Turned off and powered off then back on and enabled tracking. Still at 11k calories. There doesn't seem to be any way to reset this.
View 8 Replies View RelatedEvery single time I connect my watch to the computer via USB cable I get this "Connection Error": "Your MotoActv device cannot connect to the internet if your computer requires a proxy to reach the internet, please click proxy settings." Then I click the "Try Again" button and it successfully connects. This happens every time without fail. It's annoying. Can that be fixed?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOne of the quirks I seem stuck with is a Firewall Error Message on my home computer. Nothing I do seems to resolve it. Even turning off all the firewall functionality doesn't stop this message (I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2012). I don't have any problems on my office computer (Trend Micro).
According to Kaspersky I have the MOTOACTV components all trusted and as noted even if I turn off the firewall and the entire security suite it still produces this message.
No other application or harware experiences any connection problems. I can work around this but it is one of a handfull of annoying quirks that remain with MOTOACTV.
I'm trying to enter a simple ladder (0,8km speed + 3min jog + 1 km speed + 3km jog + 1,2 km speed + 3 min jog, going down to 0.8). Simple enough, 5 activities, each an interval workout, one set, High based on distance, low based on time.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with the MOTOACTV app installed. Whenever I try to sync it, I get an error saying"Could not reach the server while attempting sychnronization". It doesn't matter if I am on WiFi or using the cell network. The only way to get it to sync is to log out and back in. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but still have the same issue.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI was checking the portal today and noticed that the schedule section at the top of the page displays incorrect workout info - see screenshot attached.
I am sure that I have not exercised today (it is Sunday, duh) ... yet the schedule shows that I had an exercise today (see red dot on the schedule). So I checked the device and verified that there was no exercise today on the device. And when I clicked to check details on the portal, I saw last week's exercise data.
OK, So tell me if this happening for you too. I went in and planned a workout. I put it for Tuesday and Thursdays. I saved it, and it went into the calendar. I then went back in, because I wanted to add a route to the workout. I went in, and then added tou route, and saved it again. For some reason now, my workouts were on Monday and Wednesday on the calendar. So I went back in to check off the correct days, and noticed that the checks were no on Sunday and Tuesday. So I set it back to tuesday and thursday. Just for kicks, I went back in to edit, and sure enough, Monday and Wed were checked now instead of Tuesday and Thursday.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have seen people having several problems with sync'ing. My problem is probably a variation of the basic underlying problem.I got my Motoactv a couple of days ago. I did a workout, and then tried to sync it wirelessly. I tried several times, but each time it gave me a network error. So then I connected the device to the computer via USB and the sync was successful.The next day, I did a couple of workouts. This time both the wireless and USB syncs failed numerous times. After reading several other posts, I did a factory reset.I then did a workout, and tried the wireless sync, and that failed. I didn't try the USB sync at that time. I went to bed, and when I got up this morning, Motoacdtv said that the sync was successful. So sometime during the night, the wireless sync occurred. I then did another workout today, and then did a USB sync which was successful. Another workout, and then the wireless sync (without intervention) worked.

I just click "try again" on the first message, then I click past the second message and then it works, but it seems odd. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.
I go to apps > options > search and boom - "The application Homescreen (processcom.motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." [Force close]I have confirmed other users are experiencing this.
