Motorola Motoactv :: NotifierApp Error In Multi.stage Workout
Jun 7, 2012
My devise is ocurring the error during multi-stage workout. The error is: The application NotifierApp (process com.motorola.g2) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I was checking the portal today and noticed that the schedule section at the top of the page displays incorrect workout info - see screenshot attached.
I am sure that I have not exercised today (it is Sunday, duh) ... yet the schedule shows that I had an exercise today (see red dot on the schedule). So I checked the device and verified that there was no exercise today on the device. And when I clicked to check details on the portal, I saw last week's exercise data.
I am trying to set up interval training based on my custom heart rate zones. For example, 2 minutes in zone 1, 2 minutes in zone 2, 1 minute in zone 3 (all repeated 12 times). However, when I choose single intervals, I do not get the interval training tab. I do get the interval training tab for interval sets, but the second interval options in the set are limited. Is it possible to have multiple intervals in one stage (3 in this case)? If so, how do I go about doing this?
Wow, what a disappointing first experience. First, have huge issues connecting to Wifi network for the first time. Then, go for a 6 mile run and sync. I go to https://motoactv.com/workout/show and get an engineering-guy-wrote-the-nonuserfriendly-copy popover that says "Workout does not contain any raw data".Then, I come here to ask a question and I'm asked to fill out 5 separate, non-sequential forms before I get to access the Post Question link. Someone on your Support Forum UI team REALLY needs to sit down and look at these steps and try to unify them in one flow. Quite possibly the most ridiculous support form sign up process I've seen of any OEM, ever.
So I tried the Race Myself feature on my 20 mile bike this am. When I got done, I went through the "End Workout" selected an intensity and hit "Done"--but it did not record the workout--is that what it is supposed to do?? I figured it would at least record today's workout as a new workout.
I have the weather app on my 16G, and while I get weather updates every hour when I am just wearing the device, when I am in workout mode, I do not get the hourly weather updates consistently until I stop the workout. This isn't right is it? I should get the weather updates every hour regardless of mode.
Since there is no thermo on the Motoactv, I like to know the local temp while on long training rides.
I just got the Motoactv. I did my cardiopoint testing at Lifetime and the Motoactv does not sync with the enewleaf program. Some of my workouts have 3 different zone levels in one workout, how do I set that on a workout for the Motoactv?
I attempted to set up a multisport workout (10 minute warm up run, interval repeats, 10 minute cool down) and ran it today. I must have mis-configured the workout because the device did not auto start the interval activity after the warm-up run. So, I just started a new, quick-start workout for my intervals and cool-down.I've been working on a script to convert the csv data to .tcx data (I have several years of fitness data in .tcx already), and was hoping to stitch the workouts together. When I sync'ed to the motoactv site, I couldn't access the botched multi-sport workout. The site displayed an error that read something to the effect of "Workout contains no raw data". I deleted the workout from the site and was hoping to re-upload since the activity is still on my device. But it looks like it won't sync again.
Is there a way to delete a workout form the history either on the device or on [URL].. When I first got the unit, I checked it out on 3-4 different workouts of about 1 minute each.
I had no problem with the site until today. After synchronize my last run , I tried to see the details but stop with an error showing: "Unable to process the request". I deleted the cache an all the cookies but without success.
I found the SF200 manual and it points to the multi-function button (or MFB) but it does not say what it can do or how to change what it does. I have also searched the knowledge base and the forum. Can someone please point me to any information on how I might change what this button controls? It appears to only control one feature - it is currently set to pause/play and I would like to control forwarding to the next song instead.
I created a biking workout that had 3 stages. Stages 1 and 3 in zone 1 and stage 2 in zone 2. When I used it, the Heart rate zones that were displayed on the watch had nothing to do with my HR zones that I had entered in the website. HR zone for stage 1 was 170-190! HR zone for stage 2 was 115-126. Neither of these correspond to my zones
I would like to know how to set the default workout type. I remember doing this once and can't remember how. I was able to set the default workout to cycling and the cyclist graphic would show up in the user interface rather than the runner graphic. When I selected workout cycling would be the default choice.
All of my runs start and end in the same place (in reality). However, the last n minutes (or miles?) of every run seem to be getting lost somewhere. The problem exists in both the device and on the site, so I'd assume it's getting lost in the device.
Is there anyway to make a workout end at a distance? I set my Motoactv to 5 miles and when it tells me the workout is completed I stop it but it always shows a sixth mile.
In the midst of marathon training the last two weekends, I've gone to pause my MOTOACTV during a 12 miler and 13 miler when waiting at a stoplight, yet in both cases the MOTOACTV ended my workouts!
This is without me hitting "end workout" on the screen..
Have you noticed that sometimes when you log into [URL] and try to create a customized workout that you are given different options? Sometimes I'm allowed to create and label an interval segment as a "warmup" and sometimes I can't. Sometimes I can create a single interval segment and sometimes I can only create interval segments in "sets". I'm wondering if Motorola is making updates to the site based on this new functionality? Also, I would like to request to be able to repeat more than 2 intervals at a time. I have many cardio clients that I will have them perform a set of 3-5 different intervals and then repeat. I don't believe I can create a workout on [URL] that will allow me to do that, can I?
I cannot pull up my run from today in the portal. When I go to the page I get "Unable to process the request" in the modal. I checked the return result of the ajax request and the here is the data
I've been using my MotoACTV for just over a month and I've been running a sync over wifi after each workout. I took the device on holiday with me for 2 weeks and tracked ~5/6 runs on the device while I was away. I just ran a sync via the USB when I got back and it looks like it's lost the data for the 5/6 runs. The data isn't online and they are no longer appear to be on the device
This particular bug isn't a show stopper by any means, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. On my way to work this morning, I forgot to end my workout. Luckily for me, Auto-pause had paused it for about an hour and a half before I remembered to hit "End Workout." As you can see from the screenshot below, the portal seems aware of the fact that the workout was only 37 minutes long, but the graph is displayed as if it were a 2 hour workout. "Elapsed" time for mouseovers is also incorrect.
when I create a Workout my Heart Rate Zones are incorrect. I'm using the Custom Zones and have them set as Active. I created a workout and downloaded it to my MotoActv, but when I started the workout, it did the intervals correctly however the Heart Rate Zones were way too high. i.e., it had my Zone2 starting at 200 which is higher than my max heart rate of 189 so it wasn't effective in telling me when I was in the right zones. However, when I quick start a workout, it uses my correct zones.
Ok, so I've managed to stack up two of these things. The most recent was during a workout, and the motoactiv crashed. I reset it, and it sent the pre-crash data up to the site. However, the post crash data appeared only as an empty run. I can add the run in manually, but how do I delete an empty workout? When I go to the recent workouts, bar view there's no bar to hover over for me to delete the workout (obviously).
I accidentally deleted my last workout from the website but it still show on the Motoactv. Is there a way to manually push that workout again to the website?
When creating running workout, is there a way to have more than the 2 intervals. For Example, it I'm training in different Zones, I may want to train in Zone1 for 5 minutes, Zone2 for 5 minutes, then Zone3 for 5 Minutes and repeat that set 4 times. Right now, it appears I havew to enter Interval (single) for Zone1, Zone2, and Zone3 and then add those intervala in that order 4 times instead adding them once in a single stage and then tell it to repeat 4 times. Is that correct or am I missing something? If that is true, I think you should make that enhancement in your next update.
I use Motoactv 8GB for my workouts (Running). Lately (Since latest S/W upgrade to MA 1.7.12 N8) during the workout after few songs , the music start to get crazy, Song play for a few seconds and skip to the next song. later it get stuck. the coaching continue as usual. When i use music without the workout run or coaching then its fine. did anyone encounter it? when can we expected a new release of S/W to fix this BUG
Question for Matt, or anyone who can answer this: does setting the battery saving mode to marathon also affect the time it takes for the Motoactv to auto restart recording a workout when you have come to a stop? What happened was that I had to stop at a busy intersection to wait for traffic to clear. In the minute or so that I had to wait, the auto pause kicked in. When I started moving again, it took several hundred yards for the Moto to restart the workout. I panicked a bit and hit the restart button manually when it didn't start right away, but it seems that auto restart was working -- it just took an awful long time to kick in.Anyway, to get to the nub of the question -- since the marathon setting ostensibly checks signals less often than the "normal" setting (every 3 sec. rather than every second), is it possible that the auto restart is going to have a longer lag time between when the bike starts moving and when it restarts than if I had the battery mode set to "normal".
I started this discussion on the old froum and didn't get it resolved. I had to send in my old MOTO due to repair issues. They sent back a new one. This new MOTO keeps stopping the music during my workouts. Last time I ran about 40 minutes and it quit. I got it going again but it then quit about 15 minutes later. Yes, it is fully charged and yes I use ITunes to sync the music. All songs are either mp3 or those recently purchased from ITunes Store. It does not always quit on the same song so I don't think encoding is the issue. The software is up to date. Should I call Motoorla support and reuqest a new unit? I was going to just "live with it" but why only have half a unit working? No, pressing the right hand button on the top does not get it started again. I have to let it alone for several minutes then it will start again aftger going into playlists and selecting the palylist I am using and press a song. It doesn't matter whether I use Shuffle of just press the first song in the list. Seems to be a hardware issue since my first MOTO didn't do this.
We are encouraged to give each workout a name in the planning section on the website, yet when you look at them afterwards in the workouts section, they are only shown by date. It would be much more helpful to be able to see the list with the names on. Are there any plans for this?
