I just setup my Driod 4 using the Corp e-mail feature however I discover that my Outlook notes did not sync and I can't seem to find a setting for the "note" to sync. How do I sync Outlook 2010 notes with my Droid4?

I want to be able to voice record or type in notes, to remind myself of things I need to do. Would love if could sync with Google calendar, also an online progam association with the phone app.
I was surprised to find that the Droid Razr HD does not have a Tasks To Do or Notes app that corresponds to the Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for reliable Apps for the phone that will sync with Outlook on my PC. I do not want to leave my private information in a cloud where some 14-year-old hacker can get at it. I want to sync with a cord just as I am doing now between Outlook and Droid pre-installed apps. I do that now with "AndroidSync" but there's nothing to sync those other two catgories with yet. Any advice on apps that do those chores and sync directly to the PC?

OVI does copy outlook address and Note fields on its base (and on the Nokia base), but NOT onto the mobile although Memory size is big enough (see later). Sync message is "success". I restarted from scratch to avoid all conflicts (Phone, Ovi and Nokia internet base totally emptied). Sync works OK and copies outlook contacts fully on its own base, but address fields are not copied onto the mobile (Telephone connected via USB)
The only way I found to get them onboard was to copy contacts (drag & drop) from Ovi onto the phone. Unfortunately, this causes all other fields (Phone numbers, E-mail) to be copied again as if they were additional fields and synchronization pushes all theese additional fields on Ovi Data base and Nokia data base. Finally I get a base not usable to be transferred on other phones. I suppose this is because Nokia software does not recognize Telephone 2 or address 2 outlook fields as such. It would be ok with me if I had a way to get all existing outlook address fieds being copied at the beginning. Thanks for any help
Is there a way to set up email to sync over wifi only? The option is available on my phone which I have unlimited data on, it would only make sense for Motorola to put it on a tablet that has a limited data plan.

I had no issues with this account until last week, when my Exchange server migrated.I tried adding the new server name, but that did not fix the problem. Before i've done this without any problems but now whenever i plug my droid into my computer the option that appears is the task bar that says USB mass storage, Charge only, etc. is gone and no computer i plug it into recognizes the phone. I've tried multiple cords and tried downloading different things for my computer to fix it that i've seen on other forum posts and it never works.
Whenever it plugs into a computer it charges it but that is it. I've turned on USB Debugging or whatever and that doesn't help either. It used to work fine and now it doens't,
I received an email today on my Droid X with a .doc attachment size of only 750kb and next to the attachment (where you normally click to download), it says "Attachment is too large". In my opinion, this limitation seems to be of a really LOW limit, especially compared to my iPhone. View 3 Replies View RelatedThere is a setting to enable the RAZR to automatically keep its time correct by syncing with a time server somewhere on the internet. When I checked the time on my RAZR against my PC, where I have a service that sets the time from an atomic clock, I found that the RAZR was off by more than 14 seconds. I disabled the option and instead installed an app called "ClockSync" that sets the correct time. Unfortunately, the automatic time update setting is required by Verizon in order to login to My Verizon Mobile, so I either give up checking my data and call usage or I give up accurate time. This is very annoying. Can we get Verizon to use a reliable time server instead of whatever they are using now?

I'm trying to set up my alarms with the ringtones I used to use - and I have everything in folders on my SD card as shown below. However, the alarm doesn't seem to want to use these folders. If I select music I get a list of the 5,000 songs that I have in Google music which is of no use since that's in the cloud and I need alarm to function at all times.how to change the location for the alarm ringtones?

I have this need for low resolution pictures. would like 640x480 at 1/2 meg or so. But if that isn't possible, can I lock in a lower 1mb setting? Now it takes it at a higher resolution and I have to resize each picture.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I turned off Auto-Brightness. and set my xyboard's brightness to about 30% but many times when I turn it on from sleeping it defaults to the maximum brightness. I press the power button once to turn off the screen, then press it again to turn it back on and it goes back down to 30% as I had it set. Happens many times throughout the day.

If I switch to video and back or switch from rear to front camera it no longer has the HDR setting I have to change it again. Same issue if I reboot. The setting does not want to stay on HDR.

But I have errors when trying to send when connected wirelessly.Problem is when trying to send emails when connected via wireless. Quite correctly it has smtp errors as the smtp setting is for the 3g carrier (mail.optusnet.com.au). So question is "How do you configure the Motorola RAZR XT910 Droid to allow a secondary SMTP setting when in an allowed and configured wireless zone?"I should not have to turn off my wireless and should not have to manually change the smtp setting each time I want to send from inside the wireless connection.I tried setting up a second account with just the smtp being different (eg. mail.carrier.com.au) but was unable to setup the account as it said the account was already setup.

Both are get before send and there is no log in needed.Every time I blank the username feild the application repopulates it with my email address. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that my calendar was not syncing with my Google calendar, and went in to settions>accounts and noticed that the sync brower (which was new to me) had stalled and turned the sync circle "red". I then shut off sync browser and rebooted a couple times and my calendar is now synced. Seems that Google is adding feattures as don't recall seeing sync browser.Just curious, is there a webpage that documents or advises updates to this device so that I don't scratch my head each time? The "Apps" do a great job of advising changes, sure would be nice to see changes in the OS.

I need to tap the auto brightness icon on the power control widget for auto brightness to work again. The power control widget will say auto brightness is enabled the whole time, but it does not work until I tap it once after I pull my DROID3 off the dock.

This works fine EXCEPT for when I use the sleep mode (Power button-Sleep). If I let it sleep over-night then wake it up, it does NOT require the PIN number. Also the sleep in the display setting keeps going back to 30 seconds, no matter what minutes I select . Is this a bug that can be fixed with a update or is there something else I can do.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't find some pictures or a video that I took on my DROID3. I'm not sure if I had them stored on the SD card or internal storage. There is one picture contained in the internal memeory that I took when I first got the phone and before I put the SD card in it. The SD card is from my old Blackberry. It takes and stores new pictures just fine. The pictures and video are from about 2 weeks ago. I did find a thumbnail that looks like it might be from the video and I set one of the pictures aas my wallpaper. It displays fine as a wallpaper but for some reason it can't find that actual picture.
