I have an app called classic ringtones that i use, but for some reason the razr will not hold the setting and reverts back to a stock tone after an undertermined amount of time....I set the tone, it works for a while and then; just like that its gone!
View 9 RepliesI find that if I set the camera to HDR it stays there as long as I just open and close the camera. If I switch to video and back or switch from rear to front camera it no longer has the HDR setting I have to change it again. Same issue if I reboot. The setting does not want to stay on HDR.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I had 1 default ring tone. It was an MP3 snippet and it worked on any contact set to default ring tone or to an unrecognized call. No issues.ast week I changed this default ring tone to be a different MP3 snippet.What I am finding is that any contact that is set to 'default ring tone' now plays a Motorola electroni telephone ring sound instead of the new default ring tone.Im looking for a way to correct this globally. What I have done in the mean time is edit a contact, change the ring tone to something else then back to default and it works from that point on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm receiving a constant mystery alert tone from my Razr HD. I just purchased it a few days ago and I can't for the life of me figure out where the alert is coming from. When it goes off, it yields no information of its origin. Noting in the notification bar to indicate the source.The name of the alert is "burst" I use the "droid" alert tone, so I don't know why the "burst" tone is going off. I've shut off just about every notification I can find. I thought it was from my google voice app, but I still receive the alert even after I unistalled it.Some of the apps I use are Ebay, Yahoo, etsy fan, craiglist, I did install that Modern Combat game, viggle, netflix, PDA net, facebook, direct TV, angry birds starwars and thats about all I've installed so far..

Verified that I have 181 installed. Looked at every possible option to see if there was a way to silence the end of call tone. Nothing.The end of call tone is as loud as ever, post update. I know ICS has a switch for this - at least I am told it is there.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOccassionally, when my alarm goes off in the morning, it won't ring. It will just vibrate. I have no clue why this is happening. I thought I had it figured out but it happened again today. I think it has something to do with smart actions (even though I don't have a smart action for alarm).
My alarm goes off vibrate only, no sound and a box is on the screen saying the alarm clock needs force closed. Then my phone freezes up and I have to turn it off via power and volume key. I'm using the stock alarm clock too.
This problem involves my stock ringtones, more than one though. I get a call and say Big Easy is the tone. It will play for 1 sec, then restart and play the whole tune. Same with Digital Phone sound...rings 1 time, but does not continue ringing. All sounds are on the internal card. I have tried safe recovery mode and still same thing.have also wiped cache of phone at recovery and of the apps. If I keep the tone on a full length selection, no problem, its just that the restarting of the full length and the single ring of the shorter single tones are disconcerting.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThere is a setting to enable the RAZR to automatically keep its time correct by syncing with a time server somewhere on the internet. When I checked the time on my RAZR against my PC, where I have a service that sets the time from an atomic clock, I found that the RAZR was off by more than 14 seconds. I disabled the option and instead installed an app called "ClockSync" that sets the correct time. Unfortunately, the automatic time update setting is required by Verizon in order to login to My Verizon Mobile, so I either give up checking my data and call usage or I give up accurate time. This is very annoying. Can we get Verizon to use a reliable time server instead of whatever they are using now?

But I have errors when trying to send when connected wirelessly.Problem is when trying to send emails when connected via wireless. Quite correctly it has smtp errors as the smtp setting is for the 3g carrier (mail.optusnet.com.au). So question is "How do you configure the Motorola RAZR XT910 Droid to allow a secondary SMTP setting when in an allowed and configured wireless zone?"I should not have to turn off my wireless and should not have to manually change the smtp setting each time I want to send from inside the wireless connection.I tried setting up a second account with just the smtp being different (eg. mail.carrier.com.au) but was unable to setup the account as it said the account was already setup.

This works fine EXCEPT for when I use the sleep mode (Power button-Sleep). If I let it sleep over-night then wake it up, it does NOT require the PIN number. View 7 Replies View RelatedSo the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.
My phone does not have the Shutter Tone setting in the camera settings. Is anyone else missing this setting option?

According to the Sprint User guide, there should be a Shutter Tone setting to turn shutter sound on or off.
Ever since I set up my new MOTOACTV, my iPhone has stopped ringing and it will only vibrate. Has this happened to anyone else and do you know how to fix it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Bionic is reallying driving me nuts with this. It will contantly flip from 4G to 3G and then back again. I can be in the middle of downtown Dallas and have full bars and it will do this fliping every 10 or 15 minutes. This kills the batt and screws up all my push apps like Activesync email. I can have the phone sitting in one spot and the 4G signal will go from full bars and slowly drop to no bars then 3G. Other times full bars 4G and bam right to 3G. I have a VZ 4G Mifi sitting right next to it and the signal meter nevers leaves full and works like a charm the whole time. Funny part is until earlier this week it was fine so I just dont get it.

Odd, one of our Droid1 phones just started to not ring only from other cell calls - the ringer works perfectly from landline calls. We have checked every setting we can think of - rebooted - pulled battery - nothing reinstates the ringer from cell numbers.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem or its just me, but when my phone rings the ring tone slows down like a broken record and then speeds up and slows down again. Whatever I chose to be my ring tone either one from the phone or one I have put on it, it still has this problem. The funny thing is you can play the songs or ring tone's and they play normaly its only when you set them as a ring tone does the problem occur.

I'm using a 5530 XM, latest firmware and my message tone just doesn't ring! I have 4500 messages in my inbox right nowand whenever i recieve a new message it comes into the inbox but the message tone doesn't ring. The settings in the profiles are correct, i've set the ringing tone and vibration for messages, but it still just doesn't ring or vibrate.
