My phone does not have the Shutter Tone setting in the camera settings. Is anyone else missing this setting option?

According to the Sprint User guide, there should be a Shutter Tone setting to turn shutter sound on or off.
For some reason the shutter tone for the camera never turns off. Whether marked on or off, it's on. I have downloaded a couple third party apps like Camera 360 and still get the same result. This is just a hassle when I'm trying to sneak pictures of my 10 month old sleeping.

How to avoid from sharing with MotoBlur? At work, I set my phone of vibrate. At times, I need to set it to silent. I can't seem to do that with the volume bottom. It only allowed me to set it to vibrate. It seems I would have to get into settings/sound to silent the phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently just bought the XPRT and I love it! Fast phone with a sweet keyboard. I am using the phone in Australia so I am using the GMS/UMTS network mode.
I like to turn my phone off at night to conserve battery power as I often forget to recharge my phone. However, when I turn my phone back on it restores the Sprint network mode and turns on all the network guards and turns data connections off. So having to change all this again each time is slightly annoying so I have just been leaving my phone on at night.
Is there a way to save these settings so I can turn my phone off at night? Or do I have to leave my phone on?
I have an app called classic ringtones that i use, but for some reason the razr will not hold the setting and reverts back to a stock tone after an undertermined amount of time....I set the tone, it works for a while and then; just like that its gone!

Is there a way to make the default calendar event setting "public?"
I am liking my Bionic less each day... the BSODs and Data Connectivity are getting worse. But I digress...Finally got around to trying the camera on my Bionic. Wow. An intolerably long shutter lag. So long that I have yet to be able to take a descent picture of any living thing. No living thing will remain still long enough for the camera to actually take a picture. Every picture has a blurred object.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter having it 3 days, just about to write about how XPRT is a "Blackberry Killer" then took some pics at the 5MP res and found a lot of "picture noise" in my shots. In some online discussions some say it may have to do with Froyo. Everything else on the phone is amazing. But there is something wrong with the camera. Shots are not clean and crisp. I cleaned the lens and checked all the settings and have a pretty steady hand.

Before today, the phone was taking pictures in color. What happened? The only thing I've done differently was that yesterday, the phone froze for about 2 hours when I clicked on an application. I had to take the battery out to restart the phone. This morning, the phone will only take black and white pictures.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Razr Maxx on 6/21 and everything worked great on GB. I took the ICS update Saturday night and thus far, have only found one issue that I can't seem to resolve. Since the update, I no longer have camera shutter sounds. While this may not be a real major issue, I do like to have the feature available especially when taking pictures outdoors in the sunlight when the screen is harder to see. Shutter sound is enabled in the stock camera app.
All phone volumes are set to maximum and as far as I know, all other audio actions are working as they should (ringtones, alarms, media, voice and all system sounds). I've tried the typical power cycle, soft reboot, cache partition wipe, cleared data and cache in the stock camera app. I've tried other 3rd party camera apps and also don't have any shutter sounds in those apps either with shutter sound feature enabled. I've uninstalled any other apps that I can think of that might have contradictory volume settings and started up in Safe Mode and still no camera shutter sounds.
Any way to turn off the camera/video shutter sound?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI got a notification to update my phone, so I downloaded the update and installed it, all good so far, but now that I have tried to use my camera the flash isnt working in sync with the shutter. The flash goes off too soon and the pictures turn out too dark, now I have checked what settings I could think of including the auto flash and etc, but it refuses to flash at the right time! I have noticed other differences with the update but I can get used to those.. not a big drama, but I really liked my camera the way it used to be... but in saying that I would prefer not to master reset as the other changes are ok.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI find that if I set the camera to HDR it stays there as long as I just open and close the camera. If I switch to video and back or switch from rear to front camera it no longer has the HDR setting I have to change it again. Same issue if I reboot. The setting does not want to stay on HDR.

If I don't have it connected to the headset it says please connect the handset it works as the antenna. What can I do? I would like to be able to use the radio on this as an alarm clock as it is an option in the alarm settings but yet it cant be played out loud?

Whereas the bluetooth receiver plays a different sound which is universal to all SE delivery report sounds. Could anyone tell me how to set it to the other tone and not the message alert tone?
