My calendar is synced via corporate sync to an outlook calendar at work. When I add an event to the calendar I am constantly having to press "settings" to bring up "show more options" so I can see the "privacy" settings and change the event to "public."
Is there a way to make the default calendar event setting "public?"
I have to continually force my phone to synch with my Google calendar; how to make this automatically sync?

When I tap an event that I created on my phone, I get the the following message in the blue box that should contain the event details " fake event to work around a calendar issue" How can I fix this? View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my calendar reminder pops up it gives me the option to end the reminder or snooze for a preiod of 5 mins. This is far too short so I went to Calendar, Options, General Options and under Actions set the Default Reminder to 15 min and saved the change.When a reminder pops up the snooze time is still 5 minutes despite the change I made. Very annoying!What can be done to set the reminder time to anything other than 5 mins ? Have I changed the wrong field, or is this a bug?

Some programs use the default notification sound that's in then native sound setup. I have created a "silent" mp3 for this so that it won't play an audible sound. However; this setting keeps reverting back to a default sound....something like an old phone ring or something. I can't even find this sound in the default sound files on the phone. It also plays when I plug the usb in my computer.why this file keeps playing and how to make the custom mp3 stay active?

According to the Sprint User guide, there should be a Shutter Tone setting to turn shutter sound on or off.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just set up my yahoo email with the xprt. Once I did that, yahoo sent me an email if I want to share with MotoBlur. I don't want to share. What information did they get? How to avoid from sharing with MotoBlur? At work, I set my phone of vibrate. At times, I need to set it to silent. I can't seem to do that with the volume bottom. It only allowed me to set it to vibrate. It seems I would have to get into settings/sound to silent the phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again.In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!

They ship it with Auto correct OFF! I came to this phone after 4+ years of blackberrying. I knew the soft keyboard was going to be an adjustment, but with the Photon it was REALLY bad out of the gate. I'd type something, see that I miss-typed it, then I'd have to select the correct word out of the list above the keyboard (assuming it had some idea of what I was after). Very tedious... So I went poking around in the settings and saw they had a auto-correct setting and it was turned OFF!

My home screen currenlty has a widget for my FB post, another widget for FB notifications, and another widget for my email and text messages. I would like to only use Handscent, but the only way I can do that now is to launch Handscent everytime. If i get a text and it pops up in my widget, it defaults to "text message" which is what came with the phone. Does anyone know a way to replace this with Handscent?

I can't add a new event to my calendar on iPhone. The plus sign is greyed out and even when I try it with Siri it says "Sorry. I can't do that right now". I did my due diligence and searched all over the forums and internet and I can't fix this. There was a listing in a forum where a lady had this same symptom but it looks like toggling iCloud worked for her. Not for me. I went into Settings>iCloud and turned off Calendar and then turned it back on. Still nothing. I even went to iCloud Backup and turned it on then back off and still nothing.

Ideally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
Is there a way to make the new forum format remember my default settings? It seems, on no what computer or device I use, the forums can not remember the setting to sort the posts by latest activity.

The calendar comes up, it shows the correct dates, I can move from list to day to monthly view. But when I try to enter an event, nothing happens. I have set up the calendar in the set up screen. I prefer to see the agenda view of my calendar on my Droid X.However, it keeps on going back to the day view when I return to the calendar.It used to show the month view when I went on my calendar and I don't know how or why it changed to the day view.Also, if I put a new event on my calendar on my phone, when I save it, the phone returns to my calendar at two months earlier.

I do not get the option to accept the meeting invite to my calendar, specifically Yes, No, Maybe. Is there anything I can do to get this functionality back in the mail client for the D3?
Second if I download the .ICS file that accompanies the meeting invite, and try to apply it to my calendar, it defaults to the phone's calendar rather than my Google calendar. Is there anyway to change this so that the Google calendar is always the default?
